I am having problems with downloading the facebook app for blackberry curve 8520. When i go to the page where I download it they say that my device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Facebook.

I found a FB that is for this option (at least that is what I understood), version, I think 1.5. But when I downloaded it, it said that my phone doesn't have this option... I'm signed in with my BB ID, once I select the app to download and agree to the T&C flash screen nothing happens. Even if I go to the payments options screen the same thing happens. I agree to the T&Cs and nothing happens.
My app world on the 9780 has not been working. First it would ask me to login after which it would just show me my details and not download. After downloading the application again it just tells me, "An error has occurred. Please try again later. This has been going on for four days now.

View 6 Replies View RelatedFor the past week or so when i try and check in on facebook places on my blackberry bold 9780 its not been working, its always worked perfect until i tried about a week or so ago, and since then ive tried nearly everyday just to see if its working but no nothing, keeps coming up with facebook error 2002 try again later. It works fine, finds my location, asks me if i want to check in, i click on check in and thats when the error message comes up, so doesnt let me finally check in. I dont know if its since ive updated to the new facebook app, i dont always use places, just now and again ,but always has worked great, until when i tried a week ago, it wouldnt let me and hasnt since. Ive got my location settings ON on options and ive refreshed GPS ,tried it with wireless on and wireless off, in many different locations, reboot phone etc but nope still the same.

All other devices at home (pc, mac, iphone, ipad other nokia phones etc) works semalessly at home wifi.

My signal is still coming through but I cannot receive anything. I press any button and still nothing works, it just comes up with the front page! I've been told to do a reset without taking my battery out and I've tried doing that and taking the battery out and nothing has happened.
