Using the latest version of Appword (but issue existed in the older version as well). Bold 9900 device, software version 7.1 bundle
I'm signed in with my BB ID, once I select the app to download and agree to the T&C flash screen nothing happens. Even if I go to the payments options screen the same thing happens. I agree to the T&Cs and nothing happens.
Went to buy a App today thru App World and my PayPal connection came back with try later. Did this about ten times so I ended up buying the App from crackberry site.Anyone else having a PayPal connection problem thru the App World site?

When I want to do with the device itself it is not working, tells me device is not supported. From my PC it is also not working canīt find the software or something like that. I use the 5.0.0.442 software. If that helps anything. And also my ICQ does not work it also says device is not supported!

When I visit blackberry.com/appworld/download on my 9900, the first two pages work fine (first has a download button, second asks for a language. When I hit next after selecting english, I see: Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor. The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing. I previously had appworld installed on the device. I removed it to test dependancy checking (I'm developing an app with in-app purchases).

I have updated it to the latest software available and it still says that my BlackBerry does not meet the system requirements.Has anyone got any suggestions?I am with 3 and I have the BlackBerry Browser and email package on it too ... also there is no option for me to set up my hotmail account on the system it is only allowing me to use a BlackBerry Enterprise Server account.

I want to download BBM 6.0 on my curve 8520, can I get d link. The new facebook is not working on my phone after downloading it from Appworld. The old icon still appear.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my BB Curve 9360 second hand and, despite making sure I was on a BB supported contract with Orange, have never been able to successfully download apps from appworld. I press 'download' and up comes the Agree/ Disagree box, which disappears after I select 'Agree'. And then - nothing. It has returned to the previous screen detailing information about the app and when I check my downloads, there it isn't. I have experienced a similar thing when I go on the payment methods option - I select 'Agree' and the screen doesn't change. I've been on several other forums but can't find any which have the same problem.I don't understand whether it's my BB or Orange or what?!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've BB Pearl 9100 with OS 6.0.0.723. I'm trying to update/nstall the Apps through desktop but whenever I try to do that I receive a message "Content protection is enabled on the device
But the content protection is disabled in Options -> Security -> Encryption (Device memory & Media card both are diabled for encryption). I've disabled all the options over there but still I'm getting this weird message which is not letting me update my Apps.
My app world on the 9780 has not been working. First it would ask me to login after which it would just show me my details and not download. After downloading the application again it just tells me, "An error has occurred. Please try again later. This has been going on for four days now.

It constantly says unable to log into id account!! ive o2 who im with they cant sort it ive tried to contact bb as i was told others ways with no responce now ive been told to try this. It just says "Unable to log into your Blackberry Account". I know the ID and password are ok as I can login fine on both my laptop and playbook.

If I re install it comes back. It was there this morning, but this afternoon it was gone. There were no reboots at all. This is kind of getting annoying. I don't know what to do.

View 11 Replies View RelatedAfter activating my new 9650, I successfully used AppWorld to download a few apps. A few days later I noticed the Pandora icon was no longer on my desktop. Tried re-downloading but no results (device indicating that I was "replacing" the app). but no real problem because I could still start Pandora through "my world" on AppWorld. Yesterday, I was prompted to download the latest version of AppWorld. I did so and now I have no AppWorld icon and cannot load new apps. I get a message that the media is not supported by my device ( can still operate previously loaded apps with the exception of Pandora).

I can see "BlackBerry AppWorld 1.1.0.33"
But I cant see it anywhere else, and cant open it.
I can not download AppWorld, however this has worked. My provider refers me to BlackBerry.com
