Went to buy a App today thru App World and my PayPal connection came back with try later. Did this about ten times so I ended up buying the App from crackberry site.Anyone else having a PayPal connection problem thru the App World site?

Using the latest version of Appword (but issue existed in the older version as well). Bold 9900 device, software version 7.1 bundle
I'm signed in with my BB ID, once I select the app to download and agree to the T&C flash screen nothing happens. Even if I go to the payments options screen the same thing happens. I agree to the T&Cs and nothing happens.
I have upgraded to the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and I am having trouble getting the BlackBerry Appworld to work ... I have updated it to the latest software available and it still says that my BlackBerry does not meet the system requirements.Has anyone got any suggestions?I am with 3 and I have the BlackBerry Browser and email package on it too ... also there is no option for me to set up my hotmail account on the system it is only allowing me to use a BlackBerry Enterprise Server account.

Many of the apps like: Touch Guitar, Piano, Flute, SmartGaurd and etc., are not working on my mobile which I bought very recently. They either give an error saying,"App expired on Jun'10 (but we are still in June 2010 Month)

get installed without any issues, but are NEVER working (when tried opening, nothing happens on the screen) Also followed the same instructions specifed on the website as, "Download on your PC and then transfer it to your device using the Nokia PC Suite" apart from trying to install from Memory Card.
Had my Berry 9700 just over a week. Its great. One problem: My BlackBerry App World Icon keeps going missing. All Icons in all folders are set to show. Powered off and battery pull don't bring it back. Downloaded it twice so far and its gone missing twice.

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy BB AppWorld keeps disappearing. When I go to the application list it is still installed, but the icon disappears and there is no way to launch app world. If I re install it comes back. It was there this morning, but this afternoon it was gone. There were no reboots at all. This is kind of getting annoying. I don't know what to do.

I do have a problem with my bold 9700 . I want to Download the BB appworld but it is not working. When I want to do with the device itself it is not working, tells me device is not supported. From my PC it is also not working canīt find the software or something like that. I use the 5.0.0.442 software. If that helps anything. And also my ICQ does not work it also says device is not supported!
View 7 Replies View RelatedI tried to download it, the download is denied with "unsupported device", while according to other information on the site, the device, country, provider etc. is supported. When trying other applications on the site, all the downloads are denied too. I get redirected to "download AppWorld" or to "have it emailed to yourself". Accessing this email from the blackberry finally redirects me to the "unsupported device" page again. I also tried to download it with a web browser, the site says it isn't possible. They require Internet Explorer. So I started kvm, and tried this (in violation of any security policies). There are more requirements, ActiveX, clicking popups away, and cycling through some pages a few times. Then it tells me I need an USB driver to download. But I don't download via USB, I download via the internet? When on the blackberry, I tried WLAN and EGDE, it doesn't work with any.

just to share i'm using BB 9700 and BES.
I went out one night and when I woke up I noticed an application icon was missing on my BB. I just now realized that its BB AppWorld that has disappeared and I cannot seem to find it for the life of me. I assume I drunkenly hit some random keys and it vanished but I can't possibly imagine how I have checked all my hidden folders and every thing. My Applications page under Settings lists AppWorld and I have even tried countless battery pulls and deleting AppWorld and reinstalling it.

she said she googled her issue and apparently bb updated something and Internet doesn't work for any bb user.
My blackberry 9700 has just arrived, it is from orange, the problem is that when i try to download the appworld from the phone or from the website it says that doesnt meet the requirements, but i have the bold 9700 with the newest os what else can i do??.And other thing, when i try to access to facebook or windows live messenger, it says ''Could not connect because data service is not available. Please try again later.'' and in wlm ''data services unavailable'', but i can log in from my blackberry browser but not from the app(facebook).

* WiFi: What settings do I have to change so that my blackberry does transmit all data via WiFi and not GPRS or 3G? I do not have a data plan and don't want one

* eMail: The set-up assistant only allows me to connect to a Blackberry server. I want to connect to my private IMAP server. How can I do that?
* GPS: No app was found on the phone. No Blackberry Maps, nothing. Where can I get the Blackberry Maps?

When I visit blackberry.com/appworld/download on my 9900, the first two pages work fine (first has a download button, second asks for a language. When I hit next after selecting english, I see: Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor. The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing. I previously had appworld installed on the device. I removed it to test dependancy checking (I'm developing an app with in-app purchases).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been looking at the APKMirror site and notice there are numerous updated Google apps which appear to be later versions of the stock versions. E.g. there are higher versions to Google Play Store and Google Play Services to which I currently have (Marshmallow 6.0 MRA58N). Am I safe to assume that installing these more recent versions will be of benefit? I also assume it's likely these apps will be updated with the next release of Marshmallow. Lastly would installing these more recent Google apps interfere with future OTA updates?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my BB Curve 9360 second hand and, despite making sure I was on a BB supported contract with Orange, have never been able to successfully download apps from appworld. I press 'download' and up comes the Agree/ Disagree box, which disappears after I select 'Agree'. And then - nothing. It has returned to the previous screen detailing information about the app and when I check my downloads, there it isn't. I have experienced a similar thing when I go on the payment methods option - I select 'Agree' and the screen doesn't change. I've been on several other forums but can't find any which have the same problem.I don't understand whether it's my BB or Orange or what?!

But the content protection is disabled in Options -> Security -> Encryption (Device memory & Media card both are diabled for encryption). I've disabled all the options over there but still I'm getting this weird message which is not letting me update my Apps.
Why cant i download apps from a site other than andriod market it s tell me for security your phone is set to block instalation off app not sourced in andriod market.

Please check the URL and try again"just to be sure i wasn't going blind, i checked on other computers with other browsers;same thing.i called my provider (Verizon) who verified my problem and told me this was on BB's side.i am an insomniac who likes to fall asleep playing stupid games on my phone, among other things.
