I have been seraching for ebay and paypal application in the app world for bold 9900 but could not find, I was using both application with my old bold 9700, I need the two applications on my new 9900.
View 5 RepliesA few hours ago I put my iPhone 3GS on ebay. I've been buying from ebay for years, but never sold anything.
I have no idea what price. Right now I started the bidding at $200, but I think that might be to high to start if off like that. I did the bid for 3 days because I wanted to get the Lost Complete Series Blu-Ray Collection ASAP (hopefully on Tuesday) lol.
I can still edit my price, since no one has bided on it yet.
Here is what I'm offering, Apple iPhone 3GS Black (32GB) in Like NEW CONDITION, iOS 4.0.2 Software, perfect screen (absolutely no scratches anywhere on the iPhone 3GS).
Includes original box, headphones and USB cable / wall charger. In Great condition, Belkin Grip Two-Toned Vector Case for smartphone - Black, white Silicone (slight wear to the case)
I was thinking in the area of $150-$225 for a 3 day long bid?
Anyone have any suggestions? I see people buying it for over 400 dollars, so I don't want me missing out since I'm an ebay selling noob.

I have recently changed from by Curve to the Bold 9780 and am unable to download the paypal app onto it - which worked perfectly on my only phone. I keep getting an error message that my handset does not support this app. I am seconds away from returning the handset and switching to the Iphone dark side.

Recently, when I try to buy or download a free app, I get an error message that says Paypal is not supported on my iPhone. I also have the Paypal app downloaded on my phone to use it for non-app store personal transactions I can use Paypal successfully for other transactions such as Amazon, etc. If it matters, the change occurred on my iPhone because I disputed a Paypal transaction for the Apple Store, and when the situation was being resolved i received a message (email maybe? I forget) asking me if I wanted to stop using that vendor. I misunderstood the question, and I chose "Yes," but did not realize it would mean Paypal was removed from my iPhone. How do I get my iPhone to support PayPal again?

I have never gotten a domestic US phone and want to get a Samsung Vibrant, but many of the cheaper new or used deals are from individual users with relatively smaller feedback numbers. I know Verizon checks ESN numbers for their CDMA phones but I don't know what protections GSM phones have, if they have any at all. Do they check IMEI numbers? So for anyone buying domestic used or new phones, any tips on avoiding these situations? And even if I do end up with one, it probably won't brick on me like a CDMA phone would?

They got my IMEI number and a week after they have reported with the steps to unlock my phone. (Just connect to I tunes,backup and restore with internet connection). I did the steps but I could not get the successful message in the Itunes. I contacted ATT and Apple. Both of them saying that only other party can help.

Strangely, only 3 of the 15 digits are different, the rest are the same.Is it a natural part of unlocking that the IMEI is changed in the process? That doesn't seem right.
