My problem is i can not log into my appworld ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling ive tried changing my password 7 times. It constantly says unable to log into id account!! ive o2 who im with they cant sort it ive tried to contact bb as i was told others ways with no responce now ive been told to try this. Please if someone could help me id really appreciate it as i have loads of updates and can not do any until im logged in.

After upgrading Appworld to the latest version, .32 appworld is not starting. when ever i start it is not open but tab menu icon is appear but not functioning.
just to share i'm using BB 9700 and BES.
I can access the appworld on my 9900, but if I go to download anything then it asks for my ID and password which it won't accept. It just says "Unable to log into your Blackberry Account". I know the ID and password are ok as I can login fine on both my laptop and playbook.

If I re install it comes back. It was there this morning, but this afternoon it was gone. There were no reboots at all. This is kind of getting annoying. I don't know what to do.

View 11 Replies View RelatedAfter activating my new 9650, I successfully used AppWorld to download a few apps. A few days later I noticed the Pandora icon was no longer on my desktop. Tried re-downloading but no results (device indicating that I was "replacing" the app). but no real problem because I could still start Pandora through "my world" on AppWorld. Yesterday, I was prompted to download the latest version of AppWorld. I did so and now I have no AppWorld icon and cannot load new apps. I get a message that the media is not supported by my device ( can still operate previously loaded apps with the exception of Pandora).

I do have a problem with my bold 9700 . I want to Download the BB appworld but it is not working. When I want to do with the device itself it is not working, tells me device is not supported. From my PC it is also not working can´t find the software or something like that. I use the 5.0.0.442 software. If that helps anything. And also my ICQ does not work it also says device is not supported!

When trying other applications on the site, all the downloads are denied too. I get redirected to "download AppWorld" or to "have it emailed to yourself". Accessing this email from the blackberry finally redirects me to the "unsupported device" page again. I also tried to download it with a web browser, the site says it isn't possible. They require Internet Explorer. So I started kvm, and tried this (in violation of any security policies). There are more requirements, ActiveX, clicking popups away, and cycling through some pages a few times. Then it tells me I need an USB driver to download. But I don't download via USB, I download via the internet? When on the blackberry, I tried WLAN and EGDE, it doesn't work with any.

I'm signed in with my BB ID, once I select the app to download and agree to the T&C flash screen nothing happens. Even if I go to the payments options screen the same thing happens. I agree to the T&Cs and nothing happens.
I am using Bold 9780. I had a problem with the Appworld. It runs very slow on my phone, sometimes it works, but most of the time it always show "Loading".I am using wifi when I want to download some apps from the Appworld, because I only have 1gb free for a month. Another question is that how I can close my running app. I press the Blackberry key for 5 seconds, I see some app still running, althought I closed it.

When I hit next after selecting english, I see: Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor. The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing. I previously had appworld installed on the device. I just now realized that its BB AppWorld that has disappeared and I cannot seem to find it for the life of me. I assume I drunkenly hit some random keys and it vanished but I can't possibly imagine how I have checked all my hidden folders and every thing. My Applications page under Settings lists AppWorld and I have even tried countless battery pulls and deleting AppWorld and reinstalling it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use the Appworld on my Curve 8530, but I want it to only use the WiFi (I just have the Blackberry Social plan with Koodo with no data plan).
Right now, I've connected my phone to my router (a Netgear WNR1000 v2) using WPA2-PSK [AES] encryption and the PSK. Both the Router and the Phone say that they are connected, the router assigned it an IP addy (192.168.X.X), the phone says its connected but on the manage connections screen, there is no green check next to WiFi (only a square with a white line through it).
When I try turning off the mobile connection and only use WiFi I get the following:
"You do not have sufficient wireless coverage or your connection to the wireless network is turned off" I don't want to run the risk of getting overage charges with my provider
Seriously, why can't they just have the Appworld run in the desktop software, and when you sync the phone, it updates the software you download.
