Nov 30, 2011When I visit blackberry.com/appworld/download on my 9900, the first two pages work fine (first has a download button, second asks for a language. When I hit next after selecting english, I see: Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor. The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing. I previously had appworld installed on the device. I removed it to test dependancy checking (I'm developing an app with in-app purchases).

Apr 12, 2010My blackberry 9700 has just arrived, it is from orange, the problem is that when i try to download the appworld from the phone or from the website it says that doesnt meet the requirements, but i have the bold 9700 with the newest os what else can i do??.And other thing, when i try to access to facebook or windows live messenger, it says ''Could not connect because data service is not available. Please try again later.'' and in wlm ''data services unavailable'', but i can log in from my blackberry browser but not from the app(facebook).

Jun 2, 2010my storm 'died' yesterday, and i got my replacement phone today.in the course of trying to download and install app world to get all my old apps back,there seems to be a problem with the url or download link, something.i get a bland 'error' when i attempt to input my email address to have the link emailed to me.when i try to click on the download button, i get taken to a page that tells me "You have attempted to access a software download page that does not exist. Please check the URL and try again"just to be sure i wasn't going blind, i checked on other computers with other browsers;same thing.i called my provider (Verizon) who verified my problem and told me this was on BB's side.i am an insomniac who likes to fall asleep playing stupid games on my phone, among other things.

May 31, 2012I bought my BB Curve 9360 second hand and, despite making sure I was on a BB supported contract with Orange, have never been able to successfully download apps from appworld. I press 'download' and up comes the Agree/ Disagree box, which disappears after I select 'Agree'. And then - nothing. It has returned to the previous screen detailing information about the app and when I check my downloads, there it isn't. I have experienced a similar thing when I go on the payment methods option - I select 'Agree' and the screen doesn't change. I've been on several other forums but can't find any which have the same problem.I don't understand whether it's my BB or Orange or what?!

1. The app itself cannot be download for OS6. It states "Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World."When will this be available?
2. Downloading apps via the web page results in an email that gets sent that redirects me to the page to get the email sent to me again... so, I can't download the app this way, either.

It constantly says unable to log into id account!! ive o2 who im with they cant sort it ive tried to contact bb as i was told others ways with no responce now ive been told to try this. BB Bold :: Appworld Won't Accept My ID
May 14, 2012I can access the appworld on my 9900, but if I go to download anything then it asks for my ID and password which it won't accept. It just says "Unable to log into your Blackberry Account". I know the ID and password are ok as I can login fine on both my laptop and playbook.

Jan 6, 2010My BB AppWorld keeps disappearing. When I go to the application list it is still installed, but the icon disappears and there is no way to launch app world. If I re install it comes back. It was there this morning, but this afternoon it was gone. There were no reboots at all. This is kind of getting annoying. I don't know what to do.

Jun 21, 2010After activating my new 9650, I successfully used AppWorld to download a few apps. A few days later I noticed the Pandora icon was no longer on my desktop. Tried re-downloading but no results (device indicating that I was "replacing" the app). but no real problem because I could still start Pandora through "my world" on AppWorld. Yesterday, I was prompted to download the latest version of AppWorld. I did so and now I have no AppWorld icon and cannot load new apps. I get a message that the media is not supported by my device ( can still operate previously loaded apps with the exception of Pandora).

Feb 5, 2010I do have a problem with my bold 9700 . I want to Download the BB appworld but it is not working. When I want to do with the device itself it is not working, tells me device is not supported. From my PC it is also not working can´t find the software or something like that. I use the 5.0.0.442 software. If that helps anything. And also my ICQ does not work it also says device is not supported!

Jan 31, 2010I tried to download it, the download is denied with "unsupported device", while according to other information on the site, the device, country, provider etc. is supported. When trying other applications on the site, all the downloads are denied too. I get redirected to "download AppWorld" or to "have it emailed to yourself". Accessing this email from the blackberry finally redirects me to the "unsupported device" page again. I also tried to download it with a web browser, the site says it isn't possible. They require Internet Explorer. So I started kvm, and tried this (in violation of any security policies). There are more requirements, ActiveX, clicking popups away, and cycling through some pages a few times. Then it tells me I need an USB driver to download. But I don't download via USB, I download via the internet? When on the blackberry, I tried WLAN and EGDE, it doesn't work with any.

I'm signed in with my BB ID, once I select the app to download and agree to the T&C flash screen nothing happens. Even if I go to the payments options screen the same thing happens. I agree to the T&Cs and nothing happens.

Sep 15, 2011I am using Bold 9780. I had a problem with the Appworld. It runs very slow on my phone, sometimes it works, but most of the time it always show "Loading".I am using wifi when I want to download some apps from the Appworld, because I only have 1gb free for a month. Another question is that how I can close my running app. I press the Blackberry key for 5 seconds, I see some app still running, althought I closed it.
May I upgrade my phone to Blackberry 7. I think I cannot do it because I read about it somewhere before, but just ask for sure.
