BB Bold :: Cannot Receive Email Messages After Changing Password?

I changed my email password on my computer and since then I have not been able to receive email messages on my phone, I tried adjusting the email setup, it just wont allow me.
Rogers Blackberry technical support has tried everything and they are now telling me it's a hardware issue, and I need to pay full price for a new phone because my warranty has expired. I don't think it's a hardware issue. I will explain. A few days ago I installed Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0.1 on my new computer. After connecting the Bold to my new computer, Blackberry Desktop Manager stated that a few of my applications are old and upgrades are recommended and therefore I upgraded. One of these upgrades included an upgrade to my operating system (to version 4.6.0.303).
After installing and re-booting, the smartphone did not work the same. I was able to use the phone, text message, and internet (rogers mall website directly and not search engine like before) but I could no longer set up e-mail, and PIN messages. I contacted Rogers Blackberry technical customer and we re-boot several times...did not work, then re-installed the operating system several times...did not work. I also checked Host Routing Table, and it was empty (as per technical support there should be a log of files). I tried to register and nothing changed. The only other change that I noticed is next to the 3G characters, there used to be a blackberry logo (4 dots), and now it's gone. I only see 3G.
I have the xperia x8...i had added yahoo mail as my email on the phone. It was working fine until I changed the password on my yahoo account (from web browser). Now I cannot send emails from there as it says password is incorrect but doesnt tell me where to change the password.
I have run into a massive problem with my BB email.I can compose/send and receive email pushed to my phone but I cannot seem to REPLY to messages by hitting reply. Instead I receive an error saying that I can only compose a draft. Now this only happens when I am replying to an already pushed email. I have already tried resending service books and resending HRT.
I recently changed my msn password via my pc, I then got the error message on my phone when trying to log into mail, entered new password and it would just time out when trying to connect.Today i get the message, " Sign in incorrect, The attempt to sign in failed due to invalid User Name, Password or incorrect settings (301)user name and password are correct, not sure what or how to change settings, I just have the option of ticking 3 boxes, Set premium acc, Send email from this account + show password.
I want to change my email address but when I go to setup, then email account, internet mail account - it asks for Username and password to access my email settings - i do NOT have either of these (I dont believe that I ever put them in - my previuous email address was on an enterprise account). How can I get around this?
I'm my gmail account on my device. I recieve emails directly into my inbox, as well as messages that skip the inbox into different folder (labels) in the device, the main/default folder is the INBOX, whereas I prefer to use the ALL MAIL filter. Right now, I need to select FILTER, and then ALL MAIL, to see all my new emails, as opposed to those that only went into my INBOX. Any way to make the ALL MAIL folder the default one?
I have a Bold 9700 running 6.0 software. I have 2 emails attached to this balckberry and I would like to change which "Contact List" they sync to. I can view the selection when I click on a contact (at the top above the contact name), but I am unable to change it. Is there a way to change which email the contact sync's to?
I changed my blackberry from bold 9700 to 9780 and I am trying to activate my email for the last 10 hours but it has not been possible. Also using blackberry desktop software I tried to restore backup from my old phone to the new one but it has not updated my bbm. The previous bbm contacts are there but I cant send a message to anyone. Do I need to add all of them again?
I have two emails that are synching to my BB (outlook and Gmail), my query show to move a contact that syncs with outlook and make it sync with Gmail. In other terms, let's suppose that Contact ABC is set to sync with Outlook, I need to know how to make it sync with Gmail.
I recently recieved a message to login into the internet service to validate the password for my email services so that I can continue to receive email messages. I have forgotten my password. So when I tell them my email address and to send my password, the message is that they will send my password TO MY BLACKBERRY - HOWEVEr - if Im not recieving email messages, how can they send it to my blackberry?
i was receiving email messages from my gmail account on my blackberry 8900, but after that i it has completely stopped.my blackberry is on t-mobile and os version is v4.6.1.114. Can someone please help?
My BlackBerry has been sending and receiving e-mail fine for days. Suddenly, I get a message that I can no longer receive messages until I verify my e-mail. So, I do as I'm told and I
1) go to the home screen 2) click setup icon 3) click e-mail settings
I give the correct e-mail and password information and I keep getting an "Invalid" message. Is there a technical support number I can call? It's a busy holiday week and this is my business phone.
The Atrix was my first smartphone and was excited to set up my email account. Was unable to get it to work but successfully set up the K9 app.With the new GB release I thought I would try the stock app again. Now I can send messages but can't receive any with the stock email app. I have my own web domain and pop3 email. Any ideas why this won't work with the stock app although it does work with the K9 app?
I am having the same issue described in the overview of article KB11172, and have tried all the solutions listed there, but to no avail. The odd thing is, I have 4 9630s connected to my BES, and 2 are working fine, and 2 are not able to receive the emails. How could this be? Something on the handhelds?
I have an email account on my Blackberry bold but I cannot access it. I tried to re-set it and I get the message "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persists, contact yahoo.ca" - this problem started after I updated my Blackberry software. I have verified my address and password, I can access it from any computer. I have an icon for the email account, but it does not receive emails/it is empty/won't send or receive messages.

only realized 5 days a go that my BBM had stopped working. I'm able to send messages and my contacts recieve them, but they stay as 'D' on my screen, but when they send a message back I do not recieve it but it says 'D' on their screen.I don't think i have changed any setting or messed with anything. I have tried delteting and reinstalling BBM but still the sane problem. Data Services are also on.
I originally had a Verizon blackberry phone. Then I unlocked it, gave it to my sister, but then at first when I tried to call her new ATT number, I couldn't. If I called from the phone to my house. The caller ID was my old number?. Even when I texted it was my old number even with her new SIM card in it. So then I tried playing around with mobile network options. I found a way, kind of. I recently encountered an issue on my phone, I previously could receive messages and send to all my contacts within and outside my location, but last week I could only send messages to my contacts abroad and it shows delivered (D), but not read (R). However, got a call from my friend in the UK that he reads my messages and whenever he tries to reply, the messages never gets to me. He also receives my broadcast messages.
I cannot send or receive any bbm messages from outside USA. if i tried sending a bbm it shows that it is delivered, but nothing more than that. i have contacted T mobile and they refreshed my account, but it's my phone and not the network because i tried another simcard (but still same problem ). I can't receive emails and BBM messages on my Blackberry Bold 9900. I have tried registering the phone on the wireless network, sending the service book, and removing the battery. All of which have been completed sucessfully, but they have made no difference, I still can't receive messages.
Update last week and then one email address won't work. When I contacted server provider, they gave me server to use, port, etc. but I cannot change those on my Blackberry. (Or can't find out where to do it). When I delete and add the email address, it doesn't give me the option to put in the popmail address, or designate the proper server and port. Tried to do it on the computer but phone won't allow me to do it.
Issue: NOT able to receive any text messages. I can send messages and they are all being delivered. I pulled the battery and re-registered the host routing table. This happened last week, so they replaced the device and SIM in the store. Now it's happening again.Does anyone know what to do? I really don't want to call Tech Support.
