Yesterday I updated from 5.0 to the 6.0 bundle via laptop. Afterwards since I am always connected to wifi I tried to use my twitter app. It wouldn't connect. So I tried to open my hotspot brpwser and that wouldn't work either. I disconnected from my wifi and reconnected. Same result. My wifi and both my tmobile and wifi browsers were working perfectly before I updated.

The vutual sticks now seems to have stopped working, games don't even register they are there. Also the screen is playing up too, when it screen closes down, no matter how hard I press power button screen hardley ever comes in to life. Sometimes I can swip to unlock and can feel the phone vibrate as if something happaning but screen never comes alive. I now have to remove battery to restart.
I've tried doing a complet re load and took everything back to default but nothing.
I'm getting near the end of my tether, as I don't want to ahve to send my phone off for 2 weeks as I've got no replacement! Stupidly I sold my old phone.
Plugged my 9700 into desktop manager today & was prompted to update software, which I did. Device now at platform 5.1.0.175, app version: 5.0.0.862 on Vodafone UK. I've noticed that the 'wireless update' option is no longer there.

Two major issues occur after an upgrade to OS6.
1. Ever since the upgrade from OS5 to OS6, I've been getting memory issues when simply browsing the internet. U get the message "The memory available on your device is low. Please close some tabs." just reading the news.
2. This is urgent. I just updated my OS6 and now my e-mail doesn't even work. Whenever I try to set it up under e-mail accounts "internet mail account", it just freezes or closes.
I've looked at the possible go to "mobile.blackberry.com" and go to communications but I don't see that option available. I also tried battery pulling many times to restart my e-mail service. This is coming close for me in drawing the line for BlackBerry phones.
No offence but the official OS update doesn't work.
Mines been hanging for at least 30 minutes and if the only way to help is to get suggestions from non-blackberry employees while the support services hide away then the phone may as well go back and I'll, get an iPhone.
It shouldn't be up to the people on this forum to be left to do things themselves. Blackberry needs to get involved with all the problems and questions their updates are causing.
Every day its rebooting, Cant log into the apps center.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI updated my Bold 9700 to OS 6.0 bundle 2475 . I'm using my phone connected to a wifi router that worked fine before update but now is unable to communicate.
The connection is ok (I can select my network in the list and the phone is connected) but the "Blackberry" icon doesn't appear on the main screen near the wifi icon and it's impossible to connect the phone to Internet or email.
Using 3G connection all work fine but I'm abroad and normally I use this wifi network on my apartment that works fine (I'm also using an iPhone that works great, it means that the network is ok).
The synchronization of iphone 4S to windows 7/64 bit does no longer work; kalender, individual ringtones and contacts get not sychronized in both directions. I tried reset on working configuration, deinstallation of itunes - nothing worked?

Sometime over the last few weeks, I noticed one side of my headphones was dramatically quieter than the other on my iPhone 4S. I cannot figure out how to make each side play at the same volume again. I have not made any changes, but I feel it might have coincided with one of the iOS 8 (8.1, 8.1.1) installs. Here is what I have tested:Â

View 8 Replies View RelatedThe ringtones I have assigned to several of my contacts no longer work when the people call me. The tones are in my itunes and stored on the iphone, but will the only tone working for the contacts is the default tone. They worked fine until a few weeks ago, and I have done all sorts of trouble shooting but nothing has worked. Apple said the files for my custom tones were corrupt and I had to fix that which I did. However, even if I assign a regular tone i.e. Marimba, it still will not ring if the default is another tone.

Anyway when I click on a meeting in my calendar that has a conference number plus the meeting ID the phone prompts me asking if I want to send the extra tones when I click yes I get a very small burst of static and 1 tone. I am on the road a lot and I having this break means I need to pull over to dial in meeting IDs.
