How To Unlock IPhone Through Computer - Screen No Longer Works
Jun 21, 2014So my phone got water damage, and the screen no longer works. It still functions but I have to use siri for everything. So i just decided to buy a new one. I wanted to back up my phone to itunes on my computer so I can put the new stuff on my computer, but since it wont let me back it up if i have no pass code for the iPhone, and clearly i cant enter it because my screen is not functioning. Is there a way i can open my phone with out touching it or enter the code in on itunes? Without touching the touch screen? oh and it's still asking me for the code on the last computer I backed up to.

Dec 2, 2014Sometime over the last few weeks, I noticed one side of my headphones was dramatically quieter than the other on my iPhone 4S. I cannot figure out how to make each side play at the same volume again. I have not made any changes, but I feel it might have coincided with one of the iOS 8 (8.1, 8.1.1) installs. It is not the headphones because:
I have tested other sets of headphones and they have the same problemÂ
It is not the jack because:
I plugged in my aux jack cord to connect my phone through the jack to my car. Using the cord in my car did not produce the same audio imbalance. Both sides were of equal volumeÂ
It is not the L/R slider because:
I checked the Settings>General>Accessibility slider and it is right in the middle of the L/RÂ

The tones are in my itunes and stored on the iphone, but will the only tone working for the contacts is the default tone. They worked fine until a few weeks ago, and I have done all sorts of trouble shooting but nothing has worked. Apple said the files for my custom tones were corrupt and I had to fix that which I did. However, even if I assign a regular tone i.e. Marimba, it still will not ring if the default is another tone.

BB Torch 9800 :: Longer To Unlock Phone Option?
Sep 5, 2010I have had the torch for about 2 weeks and initially didn't like it at all, I had a Curve for 2 years but dropped it once too often :-(. Anyway I am a big guy 6'2" 225 and I am still getting used to typing (hope i will), but the biggest issue I have is the "Lock" button for the phone. I usually keep the phone in my pocket and if you breath on the lock button too hard the phone unlocks. Is there an option for holding the lock button down for "X" seconds before the phone unlocks, I loved that you had to hit 2 keys to unlock the Curve. I really don't want to deal with a password, is that my only option?
i really only want it for text,email and talking to people, would I be better off with the new Curve 3G?

So I tried to open my hotspot brpwser and that wouldn't work either. I disconnected from my wifi and reconnected. Same result. My wifi and both my tmobile and wifi browsers were working perfectly before I updated.

I am on the road a lot and I having this break means I need to pull over to dial in meeting IDs.
