Galaxy S6 :: Conference Meeting Codes No Longer Work

This started a few weeks ago, after an update which I guess was a security update IDK. Anyway when I click on a meeting in my calendar that has a conference number plus the meeting ID the phone prompts me asking if I want to send the extra tones when I click yes I get a very small burst of static and 1 tone. I am on the road a lot and I having this break means I need to pull over to dial in meeting IDs.

I Download a wrong Root for my device, after choosing a wrong file, I am back to a stock Original ROM its succeeded, then I tried to use Secret codes and surprised that it all does not work, then i download the correct root ma, but the problem it's still , all the codes are not working and the device does not respond, such as that in the code like *#0011#. I tries all secret codes.

I use Hotmail email I think this started to fail when I upgraded to the new OS. When I create a new Calender appointment, it no longer shows up in my hotmail calender. If I invite attendees, all they get is a blank email, they no longer get a proper meeting request in their Outlook inbox.
However, if they send me a meeting invite, it is properly recognized on my blackberry.
As best I tried scouring the internet looking at various BB forums, I went into options and deleted my Hotmail email account on the phone. I set it up again and it does not fix the problem. As far as I can tell, my hotmail account is a now typical account that has pop3 access.
EDIT: I removed the Hotmail account and added a GMail account. The GMail account workes totally fine with meeting invites. Also, after the creation of the GMail account, there is now a second inbox icon on my BB home screen. This icon is an envelope like the original one but also has a graphic of the world over-layed on top of it that resembles the Browser icon.

How do I copy a calendar appointment (whether meeting or to-do)?Then how do stop the meeting alert from continuing on until I stop it. I know how to "swipe" the screen to stop it - but if you are away from your phone and the alarm goes off, I don't want it going on forever.

When I have an active 3-way confrence call and I am asked to "Hit 1 for yes or 2 for NO" the phone tone will not register to pick the number. It sounds the tone, but the other phone line asking for me to hit the number will not register the tone. Any suggestions??

The issue I have is that that stock Motorola messaging app does not allow you to send a text to a vanity shortcode with letters as opposed to all numbers. Spent over an hour on hold to talk to a Motorola rep who then told me that they can only make a change to the messaging app if the carrier (Verizon Wireless) approves it. Just to clarify, it works on iphone and other and other Android phones were it will convert any alpha characters for numbers for you while entering them into the recipient field.

I have a problem with my calendar, syncing with MS Exchange.When i have a meeting in Outlook with a long description text, i'm not able to see the full text on the phone.Here is a greatly simplified example:'ve tried to look in account settings for my active sync account, but there appear to be no setting for adjusting the amount of data getting synced.

Browsing yesterday I came across this app called SGS Secret Codes which lists many (if not all) of the secret codes and dials them for you without you having to remember or search for them online. I have found it to be most useful so far. Just thought I'd post this for others

While on a call, phone automatically adds same contact in as a second call - the "MERGE CALLS" box opens above keypad. At no time did I do this myself, but perhaps proximity sensor not working and something with the call on my face does it itself. Once this happens, I cannot go back to my first call. Merging calls doesn' t allow me to talk to the first call either. There is no button to UNMERGE the two calls to return to the first. My only option is to end the second call, which ends both.

Yesterday I updated from 5.0 to the 6.0 bundle via laptop. Afterwards since I am always connected to wifi I tried to use my twitter app. It wouldn't connect. So I tried to open my hotspot brpwser and that wouldn't work either. I disconnected from my wifi and reconnected. Same result. My wifi and both my tmobile and wifi browsers were working perfectly before I updated.

Sometime over the last few weeks, I noticed one side of my headphones was dramatically quieter than the other on my iPhone 4S. I cannot figure out how to make each side play at the same volume again. I have not made any changes, but I feel it might have coincided with one of the iOS 8 (8.1, 8.1.1) installs. Here is what I have tested:Â
It is not the headphones because:
I have tested other sets of headphones and they have the same problemÂ
It is not the jack because:
I plugged in my aux jack cord to connect my phone through the jack to my car. Using the cord in my car did not produce the same audio imbalance. Both sides were of equal volumeÂ
It is not the L/R slider because:
I checked the Settings>General>Accessibility slider and it is right in the middle of the L/RÂ

The ringtones I have assigned to several of my contacts no longer work when the people call me. The tones are in my itunes and stored on the iphone, but will the only tone working for the contacts is the default tone. They worked fine until a few weeks ago, and I have done all sorts of trouble shooting but nothing has worked. Apple said the files for my custom tones were corrupt and I had to fix that which I did. However, even if I assign a regular tone i.e. Marimba, it still will not ring if the default is another tone.

ever since bbc moved to flash 10 a couple of weeks ago, iplayer and bbc news videos no longer work on the n900. so does nokia have any plans to fix this by providing flash 10 to n900 usersis there a workaround that can be used in the mean time?lack of a functioning iplayer is a huge deal in uk as that is probably the most viewed flash site in uk (equivalent to claiming that the phone supports flash but doesn't play Internet). so i hope someone from nokia would take it seriously and break their silence on the availability of flash 10 on the platform.

Just updated system software to v.5.0.0.973 and bing the local searches and direction searchs no longer work. I have deleted and reinstalled bing several times with out any luck.

Last night, suddenly my keyboard, trackpad and all my external buttons no longer work. Only my touch screen works, but no back button, a BlackBerry is not very useful.It may be software, but I updated yesterday the operating system. Have loved this phone been envy of all my friends for ages then I updated it.
The vutual sticks now seems to have stopped working, games don't even register they are there. Also the screen is playing up too, when it screen closes down, no matter how hard I press power button screen hardley ever comes in to life. Sometimes I can swip to unlock and can feel the phone vibrate as if something happaning but screen never comes alive. I now have to remove battery to restart.
I've tried doing a complet re load and took everything back to default but nothing.
I'm getting near the end of my tether, as I don't want to ahve to send my phone off for 2 weeks as I've got no replacement! Stupidly I sold my old phone.

I've only had my Lumia 710 for two weeks. Up until 4 days ago, the touch screen focus attribute was working perfectly. I was taking pictures and it simply stopped working.I've since tried resetting the camera options back to defaults with no luck. I recently updated the phones software pn 10.18.2012 with no change either. I also took out the battery and sim card out of frustration and obviously had no luck.

I am no longer getting sound from the phone - the ringer does not work and I can't play music.I have tried taking out the battery and it still does not work.The last sound I heard was the alert for a text message and it does not do that anymore. I can hear fine when talking on the phone.I would appreciate help with this as I have not found an solution that works yet.

Since upgrading, CorporateSync can no longer communicate with our MS Exchange email server at work. I am in I.T., and spent the moring with two co-workers troubleshooting this. We moved the phone into a test area with no policies, then turned on and off each policy, testing connectivity results for each one.The only policy preventing the phone from connecting to the server was, "Password Required". The phone can connect to the server only if a password is not required.
