LG G3 :: How To Set Up Browsers To Download To SD Card
Mar 1, 2015
How do I set up my browsers to download to the sd card? Dolphins and Google chrome. Also, since I started WiFi, when I download anything it downloads twice. 1 real image and a -1 file that will not access
How would i change the browser on my N97 from whatever it is that came with the phone to opera mobile? or do i just use opera mobile and ignore the other one? i have just installed it on "E" and it seems a lot faster, so i am going to try it for a while. me 3310 6300 N97 son N95 HTC magic son 6300 N95 E63
Does anyone know how to block pop-ups on any of the browsers? eg native browser, opera mini or bolt. Using a 9700 and i cant seem to get past the pop ups and its really frustrating
Getting a bold 9650 today and was wondering what the best alternative browser for this phone is. I've heard of both bolt and opera mini but don't know which one works better for the 9650.
Has anyone tried oprea or bolt browsers yet in their new bolds? I have bolt on my storm and gf tour and I really like it. I was wondering if anyone has had any issues yet?
my x6 was working properly for about 3 weeks, but now the web browsers are failing to launch - web, seasch, facebook, Internet etc etc. there's no error message, the screen just goes blank for a second, then returns to the internet menu.i have good signal, and ovi maps has no problem going online to search for destinations, so it is surely a browser issue.i've been on orange helpline for over 2 hours, everything has been reset, and the phone software has been reloaded - still the same.
Does anyone have a list of alternative web browsers for the 5800xm. I'm fed up with it crashing every 5 minutes. I've tried Opera Mini, and whilst it's stable, and really pretty. Some pages just don't display correctly. Trying to watch BBC TV Simulcast with Opera, and it doesn't recognise something possibly the country.
Is there a way to have multiple browsers on the storm 2 (95500 (Besides adding Opera or Bolt)? I swear when I first got this phone there was a BROWSER and BLACKBERRY BROWSER just like the old 8330's had. Maybe I'm wrong. I am hooked up to BES and BIS. I just hate having to switch back and forth.
i am having an issue with a specific font which renders as wingdings on my new LG G3. Please see the attached screenshots showing the issue on Lifehacker.com (Problem exists on all other Kinja sites as well). I have confirmed with Chrome, Firefox and Opera, it's the same for all three. The problem does not exist on my old android phone, which has the same browser versions. Looking into the code, it seems the font in question is Proxima Nova Condensed Regular. Unfortunately, because of this issue the link to see the next page of articles does not even show, so I can only ever read the first page.
I have the iPhone 4 with Verizon Wireless. I am currently using Safari as my browser. I understand that no products of Apple supports Flash Player. So, would there be any free alternatives to view websites directly on my phone where those websites does require Flash in order to see the site? I know two sites off hand blocks it out because I'm not using Flash. For example, I have a PC, and I use Flash, but on my iPhone I receive the Flash message. Would there be any free browsers from the App Store that already supports Flash?
Yesterday I updated from 5.0 to the 6.0 bundle via laptop. Afterwards since I am always connected to wifi I tried to use my twitter app. It wouldn't connect. So I tried to open my hotspot brpwser and that wouldn't work either. I disconnected from my wifi and reconnected. Same result. My wifi and both my tmobile and wifi browsers were working perfectly before I updated.
In the last couple of days I have been unable to use any browser on my HTC One (9 months old and never had a problem before).
I had been using the default browser or Chrome. Now when I try to use them they randomly shut down and return to the menu screen. This usually happens within a few seconds of opening and is not linked to any action I'm making.
I tried installing Opera and Firefox but both have the same issue.
Other symptoms I've noticed: - Keyboard takes ages to appear and often disappears after I have entered only one character in the address/search - Phone has slowed down - Battery life has fallen dramatically (running power saver and lasting less than a day where it had been fine previously)
I recently updated Chrome but not sure if the 2 are related. I'm running android 4.3 and HTC Sense 5.5.
WORLD CUP SOCCER....This is just my personal theory. Since the beginning of internet browsing there has never been as much traffic as there is now due to the World Cup. I am finding that my connection speeds are hit and miss and I believe that if we look at the soccer schedule we will be able to prove this theory. If anybody, due to time zones, gets a chance to do this before I do please post as to whether proven or dis-proven.
I have question. I have blacberry bold 9700. (v5.0.0.602) platform 2.1.0.112.My question is, I'm in the USN, Im taking courses online at Ashford University. I use my blackberry for school work, and personal uses. I was wondering is there any good browsers that allow you to access, student portals. The student portal im trying to access is: https://student.ashford.edu/secure/S.../loginstu.aspx
I use my native browser on the bb 9700 bold, but it will not let me access. Is there any other browsers to use that will allow me to access this website. I haven't really updated my phone only when ATT came out with the update. I have used BOLT, OPERA 4, I'm trying everything. I'm hoping someone could help me out in this. I would like access my school.
With the recent blurb from RIM about the new up and coming webkit browser, I started playing around again. I currently have Opera Mini Beta 2 and Bolt 1.7 on my Storm....along with BB browser of course...
I just don't see how folks can navigate quickly with Bolt. That screen is so little and trying to get that little pointer in the right place is frustrating. I have read that Bolt is supposed to render better, if a little slower than Opera. I must just have too big of fingers for Bolt...
I'm not liking Bing very much, and I'd like to know how to switch the default search engine to Google. Or if it is possible. I have the 8530 with Verizon.
I bought a new Galaxy S2(GT-I9100G) last week. Currently I'm unable to connect to webpages using my default/3rd party browsers using normal data connection. I can load it when I'm using a WiFi network.
The number one thing that frustrates me about most Internet Browsers is the inability to change the settings to have a black webpage background with white letters. White backgrounds are so hurtful on the eyes, especially with a big screen device like the N6. It's additionally a source of bigger battery drain to have bright white pages. Now, for those who remember, changing this used to be possible with the stock "Internet Browser" that came on the Android devices.
I currently use "UC Browser" due to it's ability to change the webpage background to a dark screen with Sepia-colored letters.
Are there any other Browsers that do this or present this ability? And I'm not talking about dimming the entire screen in a poorly implemented "Night Mode" (a correctly implemented one would completely switch the text/background without affecting images).
I'm constantly re-evaluating what I use and would love to have alternatives.
An additional bonus is the VERY strong built-in ad-blocking capabilities of "UC Browser". It completely blocks all injected ads. Go to AndroidCentral using Chrome and you'll see an injected box by "GoogleAdServices" pop-up at the bottom of your screen. The same page with "UC Browser" (with ad-blocking activated) shows nothing but the webpage. I like to have Ads blocked to save bandwidth/data usage, so that's an important feature. What Browsers (or specific extension) blocks these types of Ads (like the ones from Google)? I like Ghostery Browser for this but you can't export Bookmarks.
I know with KK 4.4 that there are major revisions as to how apps can relate to the sd card. But, on the phone, can you dl data, jpegs, mp3. files, etc to the card directly? ...and, can you move files from internal to sd using ES Explorer or similar?
I just got a new blackberry 9300 but I have been having difficulty changing the storage address. All applications I download keep storing in the phone memory which is now full. I tried changing through options>device>storage but can't see any option to choose the memory card, media card support is marked but I can only see the memory card capacity and its free memory.
I downloaded iPhoto to my iPhone, then I attached the SD card reader to my iPhone, inserted the camera SD card with pix, yet the phone won't recognize the SD card reader. How do I download images from the SD card to my iPhone 5?
It wants me to format n I refuse too I have lots of photos on there. I do not use a PC, I tried to repair it goes forever usually freezes n when I do that I have to turn off and won't turn on I have to do batt pull, or it fails, I'm not sure what to do to get it to work again, it is the one I got with this torch 9800, and never had a problem, now it won't work,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5, I want to download and save pictures from my browser, or apps to my SD card, but no matter what I try, they always end up in the device storage. I'm not talking about the camera app, I mean from apps like Tumblr. I don't want to keep transfering my pictures to another folder. So how you you change the option to save and download pictures to the sd card instead of the device?
