I use my blackberry for school work, and personal uses. I was wondering is there any good browsers that allow you to access, student portals. The student portal im trying to access is: https://student.ashford.edu/secure/S.../loginstu.aspx
I use my native browser on the bb 9700 bold, but it will not let me access. Is there any other browsers to use that will allow me to access this website. I haven't really updated my phone only when ATT came out with the update. I have used BOLT, OPERA 4, I'm trying everything. I'm hoping someone could help me out in this. I would like access my school.
So, some French person has been calling me. I just got this number. I have no clue who it is. How can I block his number without asking my provider ? Are there some free apps ?
I have another question. How do you block your number when you make a call? I live in Toronto and when I type in *67 before the number it doesn't seem to go through. Is there another way that I don't know of?
My 9700 recently started not letting me view my new text messages. For example, sometimes I get forwarded chain texts and it won't let me view them, it'll show a random block of text and that's it. And if I try to reply to it, it won't show me my reply, it's only doing this with a few contacts, but it's still extremely annoying.I've tried uninstalling my third party apps and it didn't fix it, is it a setting I have to change or does anyone know anything?
Getting a bold 9650 today and was wondering what the best alternative browser for this phone is. I've heard of both bolt and opera mini but don't know which one works better for the 9650.
Has anyone tried oprea or bolt browsers yet in their new bolds? I have bolt on my storm and gf tour and I really like it. I was wondering if anyone has had any issues yet?
Yesterday I updated from 5.0 to the 6.0 bundle via laptop. Afterwards since I am always connected to wifi I tried to use my twitter app. It wouldn't connect. So I tried to open my hotspot brpwser and that wouldn't work either. I disconnected from my wifi and reconnected. Same result. My wifi and both my tmobile and wifi browsers were working perfectly before I updated.
I got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'. In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.

How do I set up my browsers to download to the sd card? Dolphins and Google chrome. Also, since I started WiFi, when I download anything it downloads twice. 1 real image and a -1 file that will not access
I have a BB Bold 2 (9700). The Media Card slot wont lock down the card and keeps springing it out. If i keep the card pressed down it works but wont lock down.
I have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.
Does any know how to get RIM to block the PIN on my Blackberry that was stolen? I've already contacted my service provider and they stopped the SIM card but as the phone is unlocked, the person that found it can stick any SIM into it and still use it. I need to know how to contact them to do this if possible.
I keep receiving between 2 to3 SMS's per day from a user just identified by a number (namely, 70371). The messages contain a URL address. These 50 to 70 messages per month serve no purpose but to increase my phone bill. I have asked my carrier (Movistar), who has told me there is no way to block the sender (obviously: my carrier is happy with the fact that 10% of my phone bill comes from these SMS messages). Any way to block a specific sender?
I left my phone on a bus and i would like it blocked so noone can use it, I don't know the IMEI number but i know the PIN. Is there anyway to block it and if so how and who do i contact?
my x6 was working properly for about 3 weeks, but now the web browsers are failing to launch - web, seasch, facebook, Internet etc etc. there's no error message, the screen just goes blank for a second, then returns to the internet menu.i have good signal, and ovi maps has no problem going online to search for destinations, so it is surely a browser issue.i've been on orange helpline for over 2 hours, everything has been reset, and the phone software has been reloaded - still the same.
I just came back from a week in Spain and found a very expensive mobile phone bill. My Blackberry Bold had been automatically connecting to internet and downloading my email by phone in roaming mode. I had expected email was only active in a free wireless area but it seems this was not true, it also used phone calls to download mail.
How can I block that without doing something as brutal as removing the SIM card? Other kinds of phones have settings to do that but I haven't found these settings in Blackberry Bold.
I have the Blackberry Bold 9700, I have an automated phone number that calls me everyday, and when I answer it is only music. When I call back, it says "Voice mailbox is full".How do I block this number from calling me? AT&T is my service provider, but they referred me to Blackberry.
