Jun 8, 2010Is anyone else having trouble using the "Vibrate in Holster" setting? My 8330 would automatically switch to vibrate when I put it in my holster that has the magnetic closure. My 9650 fits in the same holster but doesn't seem to switch to vibrate even though I have that setting chosen under my sounds profiles.

Sep 6, 2012I wish Sony Mobile would revert from their stance of not offering the global equalizer setting by default to all apps. Before Lollipop landed the Clear Audio + setting applied to all apps including YouTube, Walkman, Radio Tunes etc. However, after lollipop landed this setting has been moved to an exclusive setting that App developers have to specifically code for. This situation is not acceptable as if they enabled global support for the EQ then if one simply wishes to turn the EQ off they can do so in the sound settings. Now accept for a few music apps you have no option to use Sony Clear Audio + sound enhancements which is sad. The phones output volume is not that loud which makes this EQ settings important to give that extra punch in the music. To me this decision is a deal breaker as Samsung and Microsoft have the global EQ enabled. Sony's decision makes no sense to me and it ruins what would otherwise be the complete experience on the Z2.I am considering a Lumia currently but would like to stick with my Z2 if there is hope of resolving this issue soon.

only thing I have not tried is PRL, but that has to do with roaming, I dont need to roam at home...

Aug 4, 2011I received a replacement BB Bold 9650 and am having difficulty transferring subscription music from VCast Rhapsody. It transferred the first few songs but will not transfer anymore. There is no error message. I did not have this issue with my original phone. I have seen some posts about ensuring MTP is enabled but I do not see an option for Memory to do so. Ho do I ensure MTP is enabled.

Sep 13, 2010I have a question... and some have been partially answered by the "Similar threads feature" when creating this thread, + I have searched thru the FAQ, etc.. before creating this thread. And done some google searching, but I mainly run into enterprise account users posts, etc.. Mine are just MSN, and GMAIL.
I have multiple accounts that all forward to one GMail account. One of them is a @msn account which is setup to forward, but keep copy on server.
Right now I have my main GMail address setup in my blackberry. I also have the GMail App installed, but since email opened with it is not HTML, it's sort of worthless to me.
Anyway, I would like the ability to send to/reply to certain emails using the alternate account, that in all likelihood was sent to one of the alternate accounts.
How to go about adding the MSN account as a "SEND ONLY" account?
And also, how do I add the other GMail accounts that forward to my primary, so that they show up as an option to use to send FROM, but never receive from the account?
My Carrier is Sprint, but I don't think that makes much difference.
If I could get this setup, I would be very happy.

My phone out of no where went into 1xev and will not go back to 1XEV. Sprint said it is a device issue and i need to have the device replaced. I told them i do not want a refurb since my previous device had to be replaced 4 times (8350i). He said he would see what was in stock, he then told me that he could not replace the device at all since my previous device was replaced so many times. He referred me to "multiple device replacement team" who said I had had to many replacements and that he couldnt even replace the device. He said I need to go to a service/repair center so they can see the phone.
Has anyone had the same issues with the 1XEV dropping to 1xev and not coming back? My service books will not send, my HRT message will not come, (it does say sent, but I never receive the actual registration message), I cannot update profile or preferred network list (says unable to update, if problem persist contact service provider).
2 days in a row, prior to this, every time I tried to call out, my phone would make a busy signal and say "CALL FAILED: PLEASE TRY AGAIN" and when my wife tried to call, it went straight to voicemail.
Now, I am making calls ok and receiving text just not BIS data: (Internet,BBM,PIN,Email)
FYI: I have not made any software updates or anything receent. I am running 5.0.0.624. Have been since May.
Any suggestions on what may have caused this and if there are any suggestions tech support left out?
Also, I really dont want a refurb, how can I get a new device as opposed to a refurb? I have had this device since Dec. 28 or 29 and have had no issues with the device. I dont want to use my upgrade since I havent had this phone a year and would like to save that for when a better device hits the stores.
BB Tour 9630 :: 1XEV Keeps Going To 1xev?
Mar 16, 2010Lately, about once every day or so, I find myself with 1xev. Usually this would mean I am not connected to BB data services but I am not having any connection issues or any slow data times. A batt pull puts me back to 1XEV. What's going on here? I'm USCell, running Alltell's official .419 with no issues.

May 22, 2010I have a Sprint Bold 9650 OS ver: 5.0.0.621.I cannot connect to a 3G network when I set it for GSM. The phone is currently set on 1XEV network and even so i get two to three bars maximum everywhere i go. In the two days since ive had the phone I haven't had full service anywhere. Im in the New York area and I understand that Sprint's 3G network is extensive so I dont understand why i wouldn't have coverage unless it may be an issue with the headset.

Sep 9, 2010I just upgraded my wife's Verizon Tour to the Bold since she hated the trackball and wanted a trackpad instead. Several times while she's had the phone at work on her desk, plugged in and charging, it has shown SOS where the signal meter is and she lost all service. No phone calls, no email or messenger, etc. She went into manage connections and it showed T-Mobile as the wireless network one day, and AT&T another day, but this is a Verizon phone. How can that happen?

Sep 10, 2010Almost everytime I go to use the browser, or an application that uses the browser (such as Poynte) I either get the error that it can't be used because the radio is off (which it is not), or that there is insufficient network coverage at this time and to try again later. Needless to say this is getting VERY old. I do had Quickpull scheduled to run everynight at 8pm. I took it in to Verizon and the woman there was extreamly unhelpful. The device itself is about 2 months old. I've searched the forums and found nothing like this.

Blackberry Apps World & Amazon haven't got this problem. I have already went to my provider (Proximus) and they said my internet must work fine.
