Xperia Z2 :: Global Equalizer Setting Not Working After Lollipop Update
Sep 6, 2012
I wish Sony Mobile would revert from their stance of not offering the global equalizer setting by default to all apps. Before Lollipop landed the Clear Audio + setting applied to all apps including YouTube, Walkman, Radio Tunes etc. However, after lollipop landed this setting has been moved to an exclusive setting that App developers have to specifically code for. This situation is not acceptable as if they enabled global support for the EQ then if one simply wishes to turn the EQ off they can do so in the sound settings. Now accept for a few music apps you have no option to use Sony Clear Audio + sound enhancements which is sad. The phones output volume is not that loud which makes this EQ settings important to give that extra punch in the music. To me this decision is a deal breaker as Samsung and Microsoft have the global EQ enabled. Sony's decision makes no sense to me and it ruins what would otherwise be the complete experience on the Z2.I am considering a Lumia currently but would like to stick with my Z2 if there is hope of resolving this issue soon.
On my z2 mobile data doesn't work at all. I've update to lollipop yesterday and since then nothing. Tried factory reset, repair wit pcc, get internet setting from settings-more-internet connection, simply nothing.
Nokia Music doesn't have a equalizer and volume control setting of its own.May be in some of the Game apps they have their own music control and volume control like the Snowball Assault control for Lumia 920.So why can't Nokia Music have its own Equalizer and Volume control?
Just upgraded my very stable G3 from 4.4.2 to 5.0 this afternoon. Everything seems to work except the BBC iPlayer app which will not live stream anymore (no video or sound but the timebar indicates it is running). Strangely it does does download and then plays. I find it difficult to get out of the app - it takes 3 or 4 taps. The last time it froze the phone and I had to remove the battery, something I have never had to do before. I have done a factory reset - that makes no difference. It's a 32Gb D855 and I'm unlocked on Three.
How I can get the alarm to sound when the phone is is do not disturb? I found a whole thread on it for the samsung but can't find one for the lg g3, I'm using the lg g3s.
My E63 had software version number 100.xx.xx when I first bought it and the music equalizer worked well. Then I updared it to version 200.xx.xx and the equalizer stopped working in headphones.then when the version 400.21.013 was out I thought the equalizer problem would be solved but the problem remains in the new version.
When will a software update for Satio? Or when will update Symbian ^ 1 to Symbian ^ 3? Satio great phone, but not disclosed all of his abilities. In addition to the Symbian ^ 3 there will be many new features such as widgets and advanced 3d games. Besides, Satio such a powerful processor that Symbian ^ 1 he simply has nothing to do, and he is "resting", but is it good? I paid so much money for not a simple dialer with the camera, but for a smartphone, which can be, and watch movies in avi format, listen to music in a format lossless, play in normal beautiful game. So much money spent. I was sorry that he took Satio, because he was on the platform of Symbian ^ 1.
I bought my phone about 3 months ago and a few days ago the notification light has stopped working. It doesn't work for Text messages or battery low, basically it "burned out." I've tried a data factory reset and still no go. I was thinking about warranty replacing the phone but I hate to do that for certain reasons. I know I don't have any applications that would make it not work, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I have the Torch 9800. I wish to adjust the equalizer for the sound playing through my bluetooth, Motorola S10-HD. Any adjustment I make has no effect on the sound. It was the same thing when I tried the Plantronics BackBeat 903+, no change in sound when the equalizer is adjusted. Now, if I were to use a wired headset, the equalizer works perfectly!
So why is it the equalizer has no effect on the sound when using bluetooth? And how can we get those programers to allow equalizer function for bluetooth devices? If this is a battery saver function, tell me about the extra drain on the battery and allow me to make the decision.Blackberry Device: Torch 9800,OS Version: 6.0 Bundle 2647 (v6.0.0.600),Platform: 6.6.0.223
When the lollipop came I stayed for 1 month waiting the update and it doesn't appear to me, so I update manually. Now the update to 5.1 came and I can´t update because "the software is modified". Now where I can find the software of the last version of the lollipop to update manually again and if how?
I just recently upgraded my Z3 to Lollipop after that I tried to use the mobile data outside but it wont work there's no "H" or "E" with arrows up and down showing above the signal.
*Note (I'm using GLOBE sim card I usually use the mobile data when out side range of a WiFi, It works before after I upgraded it to Lollipop.)
I have recently updated to Lollipop 5.1.1 and I am experiencing many issues (heats up, battery consuming, etc.) but the main one is that I can't hear anything (neither the person I call hears me) during the calls. Seems the mic/speaker are blocked.
Yesterday I updated my Z2(D6502) to lollipop through PC Companion. I use 3g connection. If I restart the phone with 3g enabled i get message there is no service. If I switch to 2g and 3g it starts working.
How to reset the option of calling either via the phone or skype or other app?Since the update calling numbers go directly to the phone, no choice is possible. I searched many forums for the right answer but no luck yet. Resetting to standard settings is not possible as not active. In the phone account for SIP changing to "for all calls" doesn't work (I don't have SIP account).
The power key/button on my device isnt working. I can't switch off the device and it worries me cos this started few hours after i performed the upgrade to Lollipop.
Since the Lolliopop update, change the orientation from horizontal to vertical (or vice versa) often results in the no screen rotation i find I have rotate the device at least 180 degrees before it detects anything
After I updated my Z2 to lollipop today, I moved some app's to my sd card. I was not aware that it was not working properly.
Later I saw that the app's I moved cannot be opened or even deleted and when I reinstall them again they don't even show up. I have attached a screenshot also.
So, T-mo finally released Lollipop last night. I've downloaded via Wifi this morning and attempted to update. The update failed with no reason given. My phone is encrypted and it didn't ask to unencrypt before applying the update, so I assume this is the reason it failed. So, installed the latest PC Companion on my Windows 7 laptop, it tells me that I'm on the latest version (connected via USB)... so... what now?
My Xperia Z3 Dual with KitKat had 2 buttons on the dialer app, one for dialing with SIM#1 and one for dialing with SIM#2. Now with the Lollipop update the dialer app no longer has this 2 buttons, and when I dial a number and then tap on the "send/dial" button it does not ask me to choose the SIM I want to use, it automatically uses SIM#2.
When I tap on a contact a pop-up window ask me to choose the SIM card, but when I dial from the T9 pad this doesn't happen, it directly uses SIM#2.
I've got problem after my lollipop update (I've updated my mobile yesterday), the icons are very big the same as before lollipop update. Is there any possibility to change the size? I've been searchin in the Internet and in my mobile settings, but I cannot find it. Or should I stay with my Nova Launcher forever?
My mobile: Xperia Z 2, D6503, Android ver: 5.0.2 compilation nr: 23.1.A.0.740
While playing a video in YouTube and Facebook I'm getting an error. This is all after updating to 5.0.2. I also did a factory reset after the update But I still get the error.
