I'm having lately an issue with sending plain sms (not iMessages). A few days after restart of my iPhone it stops to sent sms. I got red exclamation mark next to my message and it says my sms wasn't sent. When I try to re-send it doesn't work.Â
Only solution is to switch off and switch on the phone and then resend the sms - after restart it works.
I have restored My Iphone 4s to Os 5.1 Yesterday.. every thing went fine .. at the time of restoring it from my previous backup .. iphone fails to restart ..... it is in continous loop of apple logo and busy icon thereafter ..
My HTC One X, which is only two weeks old, loses its data connection even when there is service coverage. It seems to happen after the phone has been on for a while. The only way I have found to re-establish the connection is to restart the phone. There is at least one other user on this forum with a similar problem.
It's been happening for a while now. When I restart my phone or turn it off and on later, it re-sends previous random messages out to some of my contacts.
Blackberry9700. Email worked fine until I had to reset my password for my work account, now I can receive email via the blackberry from this account but cannot send. Send fails with "contains an invalid email address". My service provider and RIM have not been able to figure this out so far. Email account is not full, can access from a pc and send/receive. So problem is specific to the bb system.

I have read where others have had this issue, and that plain txt messages work (they do not for me) and also that you can delete the message body of the original in the reply and that works (kludgy at best) but I cant seem to delete the body of the message in the reply.
any suggestions what to do gratefully received have done the ususal, turn everything of and on, remove battery, all are charged ok but computer doesnt seem to recognise bb any more and cant connect
I have had my Bold 9000 for about two months. I bought it unlocked and have been using it with T-mobile. When I first got it, i upgraded it to the latest leaked os 5.0. The thing is, I had problems with it. First it would just randomly crash and restart and crash and restart, continuously tell it just drained the battery out. Sometimes, on restarts, the standard Blackberry ringtones would not work, and sometimes they would. Sometimes when it would restart after crashing it would say, "net_app_something_ (52) isnt working and was canceled". I assumed it was a bad leak and tried several different version. (and this same occurred with each OS. I would install it on my pc, on my buddy's who has an unlocked Bold 9000 on t-mobile just like me. In the end I gave up and went back to 4.6. Yesterday i tried the new, official OS 5.0.It worked at first, but then when I install the newest BBM, it started crashing again, until the battery was gone. So now I have reinstalled it, kept the standard BBM that comes with the OS. and also deleted Quickpull. thinking it might have to do with it as well. On a last weird note. It seems only to crash in the evening. In the morning it is perfectly fine, however once it passes 4pm , the crashing beings, non if this occurs with 4.6. Any ideas? My friend and I are both lost. Sorry for the wordy post, but it is really difficult to describe the retardedness of this situation.
Need some help on this one. Every time I attempt to sync my iPhone, it starts with, in the bar at the top, with Backing Up *Name*'s iPhone, then Syncing Contacts, Syncing Applications, then switches to a generic "Syncing *Name*'s iPhone" message- then it simply stops as if it had been cancelled.
I've tried this several times, to no avail. Any changes I make to Applications or Contacts ARE changed, but it never changes Music, Ringtones, Videos, etc etc.
When I connect my iPhone4s with my Mac air, after pressing the SYNC bottom of ITunes, it shows 'The iPhone could not be synced, because the sync session is fail to begin.' What can I do?
Upgrading iPhone to iOS 5.1.1. Process hangs with progress bar on iPhone (showing Apple logo) about 1/5 of the way complete for over an hour.
After several attempts to restart the process, Force Quit iTunes, restart it, restart iPhone and plug in. This time iTunes says "Restoring software". This appears to work until progress bar on iPhone is about 3/4 full, then it hangs again. (No, it wasn't jailbroken, contained only apps bought from iTunes store, etc.)
There are three other such complaints buried under the unlikely discussion topicHT5278 if the update fails and phone freezes what should I do Is it significant that 5.1.1 is not in the list of operating systems below?
My Iphone 4 in 5.0.1, at Setting In General goto Software Update iOS 5.1.1, after download, prepairing install then popup Software Update fail. I tried many times still the same happen?
Does its normal thing when I plug it into computer, brings up iTunes, Sync begins, and then it stalls at step one. Message says the sync session failed to start. I have tried restarting the phone, restarting iTunes, restarting computer. There is plenty of space on the phone, both phone and iTunes are up to date. This has happened ten times in a row.
I recently changed my apple id. On my iphone, I signed out and logged in with the new id. This works fine till I try to update my apps. The update is still listing my old id. How can I correct this?
My iPhone 4s was dropping calls left and right so I went to the Apple store and they gave me new hardware.I have a backup on iCloud but when I go to restore it...it takes an hour and then just gives me an error "can not restore from backup".I upgraded the new phone to 5.0.1 before syncing (my old one had 5.0.1)
I have an iPhone 4 and am running iOS 5.1. I use Microsoft's Exchange as my email server/ISP. I receive all my emails on the Exchange server, and they properly download to my MS Outlook 2010 when I open Outlook on my Dell XPS running Windows 7 and a 64-bit OS.
But I do not receive all my emails on my iPhone, and this is a problem. Question: How can I make my iPhone receive ALL of my emails?
Prior to my use of Microsoft Exchange I used Earthlink as my email server/ISP, and I had similar issues; that is, some emails were not received on my iPhone, but were received on Earthlink, and were downloaded to an earlier version of Outlook on the same PC.
I have a different problem than I've seen here, all of the BT posts seem to be about difficulty pairing or having a phone and a BT device auto-connect.
My issue is that after connection... even after making calls successfully... my phone and my car will to stop communicating. Both devices continue to indicate they are still paired... but calls do not come in through the car, nor can the calls be initiated through the car's controls. Thusly, the stereo remains on (sometimes loudly) and I miss calls when the phone rings. The connection is gone, even though both devices never reported loosing it. This happens about 30% of the time when I'm in my car more than 15 minutes or so.
I have a 4S running iOS 5.1... this is my third iPhone and my last. It is the 2nd iPhone I've used in this car... a 2011 VW CC. I've also had no issues with other BT 4.0 phones, a blackberry and a samsung.
Additionally the genious bar has replaced my phone once already, even though they couldn't find any hardware issues. Subsequently they did a complete reset on the replacement, again finding no hardware issues. It was then set up as a new phone, and not restored from a backup. Volkswagen has tested the car's BT unit against their test iPhone 4 with no issues, even after leaving it connected for the duration of a 20k service.
I am having iPhone4, I upgraded it from firmware 4.1 to 5.1. iTunes Successfully upgraded the firmware but fails to restore my data. I am lost with everything, no contacts, no applications, no emails. When I click on the Continue Restore button it immediately give error "An Error Occoured while restoring this iPhone (-50)"
I am trying to update my bosses iPhone 5 to iOS8 8.1.2, but after waiting for several hours, the download fails. The phone is currently running iOS 6 I believe (I'm not sure of the exact version). The download is 1.5GB in size and the available memory left on the phone is in excess of 12GB. The download has been attempted over two different Wifi networks but no luck?!?! It simply will not update. He is currently no worse off at the moment with all existing data still intact.Â
I have an Iphone 4 version 7.1.2 which fails to connect to wifi it does see the server but when I put the password it does not repond to it
I have already done all the trubleshooting steps that apple support sujests on the issue with no results should I consider service or there is something else I can try
I have just upgraded the firmware and have lost everything that was on my phone. I have tried to restore from back up but keeps coming up with "itunes could not restore the iphone "#######" because the back up session failed.
The back up was done just couple minutes before i upgraded and i have also tried previous back ups but none of them work.
Is there going to be a way to get the back up working?
