I have this syncing problem with my iphone 4s and I received this error when I sync my iphone it says " The iPhone *myphonename* could not be synced because the sync session failed to start." When this happens, I cannot sync everything (eg. photos, songs and etc) and it just keeps showing this message.
I recently got my iPhone 3gs out of recovery mode by using itunes on a different computer. Now it won't sync with my itunes, always coming up with the error message 'the iPhone '_____ iPhone' could not be synced because the sync session failed to start.' I'm using the latest itunes and the latest software on my phone with windows vista.
I have been having a problem syncing my iphone 4s with my desktop mac. I have downloaded the latest version of itunes. I had no problems syncing before and this is the first time I am encountering this. Error message reads, "The iPhone could not be synced because the sync session failed to start."
When I attempt to sync my phone with my computer it says "sync session failed to start". This just started happening after having no trouble at all. What do I do?

Trying to sync iPhone 4 to iTunes as I do most days - today I keep getting a message saying 'the sync session failed to start' - can't find a reason why or how to fix it
I just got a new MacBook and I transferred all of my music, movies, pics, ect over from my Vista machine. I plugged my iPhone in to the MacBook to resync the libary to the MacBook but, the iPhone doesnt show up in iTunes. But I plug into my Vista machine it still is recognized in itunes. So far everything I found in the iphone and itunes forums pertains to problems with the iphone not being recognized by a windows based computer, its almost as if no one has any problems getting their mac to "see" the iphone. Just for info I an running Snow Leapord on my macbook, Vista on my HP PC, and 3.1.2 JB iPhone 3Gs.
I have just updated the new software on my n97, it downloaded and updated fine then it kept coming up with memory full on C drive, delet some memory. After about an hour trying to reach the settings menu to delete some data off that drive, i thought turning the phone on and off might help but i was wrong it now comes up with phone start up failed. contact the retailer. Can i fix this myself or should i just take my phone back to the shop and does my guarantee cover this seems it was a nokia update?
My phone froze and I shut it off and tried to turn it back on but everytime I try to power it back up it says "Phone start-up failed, contact the retailer" I recently updated my phone as well.
I did a firmwire update to 400.21.013 along with a password protected Memory card inside my E63.I forgot the password long back, but i could use it, so no problems. However, when i tried to restore the backup file which i made before the update,Vista shows BSOD error in between and restarts. And now when i start the phone, the above error appears on the screen.
My nokia c7-00 wont start-up after it got switched off due to low battery when switching it on a message is being displayed "phone start-up failed contact retailer"
After update to Belle I have been getting more and more "Phone start-up failed. Contact the retailer." messages.I had thought these were associated with a theme I had installed, but it started happening with the default theme. My phone is borderline unusable.
i bought a nokia e6 and after few months i switched off the mobile and it shows phone start up failed contact the retailer due to this I've to restart my phone 10 to 12 times and its very irritating. And the preloaded apps are not working like ovi store.
I tried using Sony Bridge for Mac to update my Z3. Naturally, it failed (I had massive problems updating the other Xperia I had too).  All my phone wants to do now is say 'The software update failed.Make sure your phone is connected to a computer and try again'. This is, of course, a ridiculous thing to suggest, as my Mac will now not recognise the device as I can't turn it on.
my phone showing Phone failed to start. Contact the retailer on startup i went to nokia care they me we r not able to repair/update software it will be send to company... is their any other method for resetting phone firmware?
I updated the Firmware of my N97 mini (to v30.0.004) after the download and update, the phone could not start-up again. Phone says "Start-up failed. Contact the Retailer." I updated it by dialing *#0000# then clicked on OPTIONS, CHECK FOR UPDATE?
hey ,is there a software or something i can do online to get my phone working again? i recently did a software update for my N97, after the update the phone was supposed to start, the next thing i see on my screen is phone startup failed contact retailer.( which is a long shot considering where i stay)
I Just Installed BlackBerry Desktop Manager V5.01 and it wouldn't pick up my phone even though it's connected. I tried accessing the the BlackBerry Device Manager and it says 'The application has failed to start because XmlLite.dll was not found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem.' - Of which I have done twice already. Is there a problem with this version of Desktop manager or any resolutions to fix this? I'm trying to upgrade my device to OS6.
I get this message when i want to start up the phone. A few days ago it also had problems to start up: I pressed "on" button untill it vibrates (then it normally starts up) but it didn't do anything, after some tries (around 15) it did start up. Then today the phone just shutted down and wasn't able to start up. And I get the message in the title.I have tried hard reset (shift, space, backspace + on) but it doesn't do anything.I have the newest firmware for my country (Belgium) and i think its 92.003 but not entirely sure.
I tried installing a new email client and ever since the phone is not booting its giving above error any clues how to install the OS again on E5 I ok with data loss
My iPhone4 will not sync with my computer, giving me the message "iTunes could not backup the iPhone "xxx..." because the backup session failed." I have looked at article TS2529 and followed the steps. My iPhone will sync and backup with another computer with the same version of iTunes, so the problem must be with my computer or iTunes. I have previously synced and backed up fine with this computer, so I suspect there is an issue with corruption of iTunes data files. Should I re-install iTunes, or is there a way to delete the data for my phone that iTunes holds and try syncing again?
