Jul 3, 2015I updated my Z2 OS today and completely lost WIFI. Di a backup, reset and restore and still no wifi. Obviously a bug. Cannot access anything without wifi.

Nov 22, 2010Today I went to update my X10. While at work it wouldn't allow me to as it insisted I connected it to a computer. So at home I got the USB cabled hooked up to my Linux Laptop and then discovered it had to be a windows computer.Anyway, I got it hooked to a Windows computer and the update process began. I followed every instruction and set all tickboxes for backup.After unplugging this and plugging it back in and rebooting here and there, it finally reached the restore process.I left it restoring for a while. When I came back to it, it said something had crashed. I don't know what as I'd just woken from a nap.But, it seems all my applications are restored. Yet my gmail account & Facebook account have become disassociated from my phone and all my contacts no longer have any names or pictures. I opened the contacts/phone book and the list is completely empty. tried to import contacts but it says it cannot find any anywhere.

My laptop comes with software which can generate WiFi hotspot and also share my laptop broadband connection. Mar 12, 2010I have a Nokia N97 and carrier service through AT&T. I subscribe to a monthly packet data plan which I have been using with my N97 for several months without issue. Several days ago my phone was no longer able to connect to the internet using my packet data connection. I was only unable to use the data connection with certain applications. The data connection would not work with the Ovi Store shortcut, Nokia Maps, the Nokia Web application, or the AP News widget. However, I was able to receive emails on Nokia Messaging through my data connection, and I was able to run my Fring application on it as well. I performed a hard reset which did not fix the problem.
I tried to adjust my network mode under the connectivity setting from Dual Mode to GSM, but that also did not have any effect. I then tried to run the setting wizard through phone setup to have it define my operator settings for internet, ect. After the wizard updated my settings I am now able to access the internet through the Nokia web application using my data connection. But maps and the ovi store still cannot connect using this connection.I have tried changing the connection settings under the maps application, but this has made no difference. Any help or advice would be very appreciated.

Jun 27, 2015Every time that I have been connected to WiFi my phone drops 3G connection.
The only way to get it to reconnect is to restart the phone. After restart the 3G is working perfect for as long as i have been able to test it, but as soon as i connect to WiFi it stops again.

Aug 29, 2014For some reason my wifi connection is either very slow, or there isn't any connection. And when it does connect, it is REALLY slow, and then it drops.
I get really frustrated because on my other devices such as an asus notebook and a Samsung tablet it works like a charm.

So far it could be the Router.. But at the Same time my husband Has a much better connection and Performance with his HTC as well as friends with an iPhone.

Jun 30, 2012I kept loosing my home Wifi connection, to some annoyance, having to restart the Wifi everytime to solve the issue. Until I figured out turning off the Bluetooth solves the issue. Anyone experience this? I've got an Xperia Pro.My phone is connected by Bluetooth to all my appartment's handsets thanks to a Siemens Gigaset. It eliminates the need for a landline and of having to carry my phone or to run to it since I have three handsets across the house now to answer the phone, or to make calls. Quite neet.Naturally, having the phone in my hands while using the Wifi sort of diminishes the problem.
