Dec 31, 2010I have just updated my Xperia 8 to 2.1 (eventually, because I use a Mac ) and can now no longer get the phone to connect to my home internet which it was happily doing untl that point. (Backed everything up & successfully restored all my other info / settings)I have reset the modem to factory settings, rebooted all the various equipment which all reconnected with the code. I type in the same code into the phone & it tells me that the code is incorrect & then that WiFi is 'disconnected'. So far, I have not been able to get to any access points for other free WiFi, so dont know if this is a general fault.

Jul 20, 2012When Motorola updated the software on my cell phone late last night, it reset my Droid X2. I woke up this morning to a cell phone that no longer had any of my contacts, calendar, email accounts, sound settings, previous text messages, call history, downloaded applications, and icons on my 5 screens that took me a month to set up to my preferences. Verizon Wireless CONFIRMED that Motorola performed a software update after midnight on 7/20/12. When I re-setup my google email account, my contacts and calendar were back, but EVERYTHING else is gone or needs to be re-installed and re-setup. I called Motorola support, but they provided no help or explanation. The support supervisor kept asking me if someone at my residence reset my phone (that would be quite a coincidence to occur on the very night that Motorola performed a software upgrade).

Jul 1, 2015I picked up my phone to make a call and noticed it looked VERY different, different splash screen, apps lined up differently, etc.
When I went to look for an app, I noticed they were all gone. Somehow, my phone reset itself and I lost everything -- all installed apps, phone lists, everything.
Is there anyway to go back to a state that existed before this? FWIW, I live in Guangzhoung...and the only thing I did that was even remotely different was I reloaded the phone (china unicomm).

Jan 15, 2016In the phone camera, the video recording settings I change do not stay when I switch apps. I changed the photo and focus settings and whenever I switch apps or exit the settings remain. But this does not happen in the video recording app. I change settings to single focus and steady shot off but whenever I leave the video app and return it goes back to default face focus and steady shot on.

Sep 10, 2014I've had Xperia Z2 for almost two months now, today when I was at work I noticed that it was off, although it had more than 40% of battery still remaining. I tried turning it back on but as it didn't work I figured something was wrong with it.
I tried hard reset and it did vibrate three times, but it still wouldn't turn on. I thought something drained the battary and waited till I got home to charge it. Now that I am at home it doesn't even charge, none of the LED lights work, it won't connect to pc companion either and hard reset now does nothing (as in, it doesn't vibrate 3 times anymore).
I tried volume up/down+power button combination, hard reset, held the reset button for longer than 15 sec, I removed sd card and sim, nothing works the phone is just lifeless. I haven't dropped it or used it intensely, it never overheat or anything of that sort.

Oct 11, 2014My 3 day old Z3 rebooted to factory settings while having it in my pocket. I was out for a five hours walk and have used it serveral times during the walk to take photos. They were stored on the SD card. Battery was on 73%. At the end of my trip I noticed it asked for my pin code to unlock the sim card. I used my newly set pincode for simcard and it worked fine. The telephone was set up with screenlock as well, but that has disapeared together with all my installed programs and my photos and videos on the SD card.

May 8, 2015I upgraded my Z3 dual using PC companian and I am getting worst of worst battery life which lasts hardly 8 hours with a average 2 hours on screen by using only one sim....Don't recommend me to turn off my mobile data, live wallpaper etc etc...I don't need two days of back up as advertise, I only need atleast one day...
And my question is can I downgrade it to KitKat without rooting my phone??? When I used Sony Emma software to connect my phone with PC it showed that your phone is locked and to enable the functions you have to unlock your phone....
