In the phone camera, the video recording settings I change do not stay when I switch apps. I changed the photo and focus settings and whenever I switch apps or exit the settings remain. But this does not happen in the video recording app. I change settings to single focus and steady shot off but whenever I leave the video app and return it goes back to default face focus and steady shot on.

When it rebooted, all my settings (Home wallpaper, widgets, shortcuts) were gone. My contact shortcut page was OK, but other setting wiped.
Today, i am deleting emails from my POP3 account, and after I delete many emails, i return to my home screen. Then i can return to my email account and the same deleted emails are back! I powered the phone off, and powered it on, now my wallpaper is back to default.
Since running the update to lollipop, videos I have loaded from my computer or downloaded are lagging. The audio plays at normal speed but the video.is about 5-7 seconds behind on every single video
I have run the repair from the computer through the Sony pc companion, reset to factory default and ran the manual restart by pressing down the yellow button next to the micro sim but still lags.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an Xperia Z3 Dual phone. I have a coorporation SIM inserted in SIM1 and a mobile net SIM for 4G connection in SIM2. That means SIM2 can't even handle phone calls, only mobile internet.

But since there isn't any options to choose default SIM for outgoing calls (ie. similar like mobile internet has already), a message pops up every time I would start a call, to choose SIM. That is really annoying considering only SIM1 can handle phone calls.
(But that would be kind the same if I'd like to use coorporation SIM for outgoing calls and use private SIM only for receiving calls...)

This gradually increased over time to the point where I got so frustrated I ended up uninstalling the app. However, my phone continued to restart which lead to me realizing that Snapchat wasn't the actual cause of the problem. So I did some research and came across different possible solutions but unfortunately none of them worked :/ One post I found suggested it might be the battery but I'm still not sure. Earlier today my phone restarted but on a loop and I ended up factory resetting it, which I hoped would solve the issue.

(Backed everything up & successfully restored all my other info / settings)I have reset the modem to factory settings, rebooted all the various equipment which all reconnected with the code. I type in the same code into the phone & it tells me that the code is incorrect & then that WiFi is 'disconnected'. So far, I have not been able to get to any access points for other free WiFi, so dont know if this is a general fault.

I was wondering were the file is stored. Neither the internal memory or SD card appear to have used up any space after the download. I know it downloaded, because my data counter widget indicates over 1.5 GB downloaded by the video app to view the movie. (I bought an extra SD card for the purpose of downloading movies so to not take up space.)

I mean, who in the world needs to quickly change keyboard languages in the middle of a text message?So, back under 1.6, I found out that you could just uncheck the Default Input Settings box under "Language and Keyboard" and the stupid bar would go away. All I did was uncheck it once, and everything was great!But, being greedy, I updated to the 2.1 update1 Singapore firmware, and now the langauge bar is back. I can go into the settings and uncheck it the default input settings box, and in some random amount of time, it will magically reenable itsself. I probably do this about 10 times a day, which is seriously imparing my enjoyment of the phone. I've tried using advanced task killer to autokill backround applications and processes, but I can't seem to make any progress on this.

I think I accidentally hit a wrong key or something, because 1 minute I was able to read all sms text messages and now its only displaying saved messages and my call log has been cleared. Is there anyway to return back to setup I had of seeing both inbox and outbox combined???

upgraded my X3-02 to firmware 5.60, but failed to backup before the update. The results, an empty fone with a new firmware, with everything else is now gone. The fone settings, certificates, apps, even OVI store now is not in the phone anymore.Trying hard to find all over the net to find solution for this. I thought maybe if i can at least get Ovi Store back, then i can install back all the missing apps. However its impossible to find the Ovi Store installer for X3-02 anywhere. Trying to install apps through web browser always give me certificate error. always.
I figured, maybe, just maybe, the best thing to overcome this is for someone to help me on the backup. Maybe other X3-02 user can help, if you dont mind, backup your data settings + applications into a file, and send it to me so i can restore that to my fone. dont mind any extra games@apps Some default apps (e.g: facebook) are not available to install from anywhere, isk. also i need back the missing certificates, and owh, OVI store!

I haven't fully troubleshooted which ones get reset but specifically: "Wi-Fi verbose logging", "Allow Wi-Fi roaming scans", and "Limit background processes" all get reset to default after a restart. After docking the phone the charging notification light goes on and the charging symbol shows up, and this lasts for about a minute. Then it stops & starts charging for about a minute, with the notification light turning off & on, before resuming a normal charge again. This cycle repeats itself ad nauseum.

At first I thought it might be a bug with Smart Connect, because I created a night profile to turn on the Desk Clock, but it is still happening with Smart Connect disabled.
