Motorola :: V620 Skin Option Is Not Showing Up In Personalize Menu?
May 6, 2010I am attempting to get skins working with my Motorola V620, but I'm having some issues. I've followed the guides best I can, and don't know where to go from here. I run RSD Lite, and then run skiman, which gets everything loading. One thing of note, it never loads the Moto skin. It does not even appear. However, I have successfully installed 3 different skins, and whenever I reload them in skiman, they all appear just fine. The problem is there is no "Skins" in the personalize menu on the phone. I have attempted to add it with P2k tools with no success, as well as edited seem 0032 offsets 53 and 54 to allow for skins. But still nothing.
Any ideas why the skin option is not showing up in my personalize menu? Any help would be appreciated. And kudos to all the hard work on this forum.

Sep 22, 2010I must say this Gingerbread update looks quite nice, and I'm liking it as far as I've been using it for the past hours.I had the media problem earlier in the day, wasn't really able to fix it until it went off without me noticing.All I did was go Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All and then clear data to everything with "media that I could find.I don't know if that was what made the error screen to go away, but all my songs and pictures are available to me now.Now, there is still something that I need to understand...My notification ringtones for SMS are all gone, all I can do is choose between "Android System" which limits me to "default ringtone, silent or Facebook Pop" or SoundPicker which leads me to my songs.Where did all the SMS ringtones go? Is there any way to download them or something? I've been looking around for a while, and still no clue where to find a good one (the usual Sony Ericsson ringtone isn't available to me either)

Mar 8, 2013my z3plus is 4days old and having some problems.
1. ringtones is very slow after 2secounds, but all other notification works good.
2. today for first time wen checked with earphone both music and in call it works in both earphone and as while as phone.
3. i could not use camera after second day only back camera, problem was if i take any photo it would saved in only black or in preview it would be black. both problem raised with lot of heating in back.
so decided to repair with pcc, i had activated myxperia. i disabled it did repair but after repair phone was locked and it was showing my id or password was wrong. so i searched in forum and decided to wipe phone in myxperia, unfortunately in myxperia it was showing locked but i could not wipe. i was getting an error saying that faied try again. after keeping set a side for half an hour it took my id and password and restarted. now i have disabled myxperia but in myxperia still it is showing device is protected. if i try to see location it fails same has earlier.
After repairing from pcc i have not seen any problem in camera except over heat after taking 3or 4 shot.

May 8, 2012I cannot set default ringtones for calls and SMS in Settings. I do the folowing for:
1. call: select Breeze melody in Sound section of the Settings.
2. SMS: select Sinus melody in Sound section of the Settings.
That's all.After several calls sound settings change:
1. call: automatically select f..king Tonga ringtone in Sound section of the Settings.
2. SMS: automatically select Notification ringtone in Sound section of the Settings.No matter what ringtones to choose from. They are always changing to Tonga and Notification.What can I do?

Dec 25, 2011I have an Experia x10 Mini pro. Firmare version 2.1 update, kernel 2.6.29 build 2.1.1.A.0.6. I have read through the manual and followed the instructions to asign individual ringtones to contacts. The problem is that when a contact with a specific ringtone calls it only plays the normal ringtone. The ringtones I am trying the use are mp3 files which are drm free and 30 seconds in length. They are on the SD card under audio/ringtones. I also notice that when these contacts call me they show up on screen as unknown.

Sep 16, 2014After the latest update to Android 5.1 the individual ringtones for contacts doesn't work anymore if the mp3 file is in the sdcard.
If the mp3 file is in the internal memory it works correctly. This behaviour was not present with previous versions of android.

Aug 14, 2015I distinctly remember setting a separate ring-tone for one of my favorites. But then, out of the blue, her ring tone switched to the default. I was just trying to edit the contact. But when I select a new ring tone, it no longer previews. I can select one, but not have it play right away.
I tried powering the phone off and back on, but still cannot preview the ring tones. I played around with the "compose ringtones" option that makes a ring tone out of the phone number, but that doesn't work because it does it for each phone number for each favorite. So that I would have to memorize more than 10 similar ring tones. But at least I could press the play button and preview the tones. That tells me it is not the default sound playing app that is the issue.

Jun 9, 2012I still have my iPhone 3G. Have had no reason to get a newer iPhone.
I recently tried to get a new ringtone from iTunes and all I get anymore is "Tone not available for this device. A device that can run iOS5.0 or later is required." I get this for ever ringtone now. Even ones that worked just a few months back.
Am I just out of the ringtone list forever now?

Jun 16, 2012i bought the app and i have the app.instructions say to go to devices-my i hone-apps. which i have done. it says to click on a ringtone then select all. this part won't work. left-click does nothing nor does ctrl+a,which it says to use. after i eventually do select them all i will then put in a new folder,etc. i just can't select them all to go to the next step. anyone know how to get this to work?
