When picking a ringtone or notification, I used to get a few options that popped up.
Sound Picker, Zedge etc.
But the last time I changed a notification sound I mistakenly hit the Always button after picking Sound Picker and now all that I can pick from is Sound Picker.
I had custom sounds for my Ringtone and Notifications and over the weekend they just disappeared. The files are still saved in the same directories, but when I go into Setting to change the sound, my custom sounds do not appear any more.

I just bought this device, love it so far. When I use a Google Voice command like, "play Madonna", it defaults to Sound Picker and doesn't play any songs. I noticed Music app is not even listed as a choice. See pic.
Is there a way to have the stock Music app as one of the choices instead of Sound Picker?
At work I use headphones, and I want phone calls etc. to call with sound only in my headphones, and call silent when headphones are disconnected. As it is now it rings from the speakers of the phone, even if headphones are connected.

I have Android version 5.0. I have tried to use Smart connect but that doesn't work at all. For example I have set it up to start Spotify automatically when the headphones are plugged in, and also set the volume to normal, but when I plug in mye headphones nothing happens....
When I set reminders on my Z2 through the Keep app or Evernote, it alerts me via vibrate. This is problematic when I am far enough away from my phone that I don't hear the vibration or I'm in a loud place. I would really like it if I was alerted via a notification tone, but I can't seem to find the setting necessary to change that. In fact, I can't seem to change the notification specifics for any of my apps, besides having them on or off. The phone is not in silent mode, the sound is all the way up.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am on newest build and I noticed that I am unable to change the "default" sound for notifications. It looks like no matter what sound I will choose and apply (click "ready" after selecting), it will be still with "Sirius" ring. It is a bug as it is in fact showing I have totally other ring selected for notifications but it does not work.

"Wrong file type, Please Select Again" It doesn't matter if the file types are .wav, .mp3 or .m4a
I can't seem to get my ringtones for notifications to work properly. I have it set as the mario 1-up sound but whenever someone texts me, I hear the Mario 1-up sound plus a song from my playlist. I can't seem to change that. It's been doing this for a few days now and I can't figure out why.

Whenever I un-mount my Droid 3 from my Mac Powerbook G4 all preset ringtones & notifications are reset to random ringtones/songs/notifications. I have to manually reset all my ringtones and notifications back to the sounds I want. It seems when the SD-cards are mounted in Mass Storage Mode, the info on the SD-cards is no longer available to the phone so it reassigns the ringtones and notifications. Once the SD-cards are re-mounted on phone the pre-set ringtones and notifications are no longer set. Unless there is a fix, I am looking to maybe root the phone and copy all my ringtones and notification tones to the system's media folder so they are permanently available to the phone.

I did recently clear out all the sounds/mp3s on my phone but shouldn't there be sounds/ringtones built in to the phone? When I press buttons though sounds come through the speaker so I don't believe it's a speaker problem.Also Is there a way to master reset the phone to factory settings? I'm with Telus in Canada..
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust this morning I recieved a problem from my iPhone 4s. I was listening to Spotify and pulled up Command Center to pause the song. But before I even touched the pause button, the music just shut off immediately. I tried to play it again and it began to play but without sound. So I decided to restart my device. Although after restarting it, I noticed at my passcode lock there was no sound at all. I tried to use my sound buttons on the side of my iPhone although there were no sound bars. I then muted the iPhone with the mute button and re-muted it. Still no sound. Â
Afterwards I recieved a call and noticed my ringtone still worked. I thought the problem was solved although it turned out otherwise. I looked up some fixes for it, for example cleaning my dock connector although it still did not work. I'm not sure if I didn't clean it well enough or what (The iPhone is still able to be charged).Â

View 13 Replies View RelatedNo sounds work on my iphone except ringtones. Text tones, email, itunes, pandora, etc. does not play anything. Also, when I hit the volume buttons I get a picture of the speaker and it says "ringer" over it but there is no volume bar.I've cleaned out the headphone jack since that fixed a no-sound problem on previous iPhones but it didn't help.I've tried turning bluetooth/wifi on and off because this seemed to help for some people but the only thing that helped with is that my phone now makes the noise when you plug it in to charge but still nothing else but ringtones.

Having lots probs since updates to lollipop.. Main one for me is all sounds are working apart from ringtone . No matter who calls me no sound . No ringtone no matter what tune i chose in settings.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy Storm had been working fine and I didn't change any settings. Suddenly even though I had the phone set to silent if a call came in the ringtone would play. This had never happened before. Now the ringtone doesn't play at all and none of the other alerts sound at all. If I try and test them they either do not play or I get an error stating it is invalid. If I get a voicemail I'll get a weird beep but that is about it.

I know how to get to the point of changing the tone: Menu > Settings > Sound but the list of available ringtones is super short considering how many I have on my SD card. There are several basic AT&T/Motorola tones and then a couple of random ones of mine, but I'm not even sure how those made the list. I set one of the tones/files on my SD card for my "default" ringtone many months ago, but it's not coming up now on the aforementioned list.
I even created a new folder on my SD card called Ringtones (because I had a bunch of random folders on there... Music, Tones, Audio, Sounds), but there is absolutely no way -- as far as I can see -- that I can use/access ANY of them for setting as a ringtone, default or otherwise. When I go into the Sound Settings, as previously mentioned, the list is not using the Ringtones folder from my SD card. Do I need to move tones from the SD card to the phone in order to use them? If so, then how or to where.
Is this possible? It was on my old Motorola Droid 4 but that was two operating system cycles ago.
I can only get sound notifications both text and email or silent for both.
Only phone ringer has sound.....
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am wanting to talk to anyone that uses twitter on their phone. I got my Samsung galaxy s6 today and so far this is the only bug I have noticed. Whenever I try to change the sound notification on my phone it takes it back to default. It does it both on the app itself and in the app manager. Is this a bug with the phone or the app itself? I am assuming it's a bug with the app itself as all of the other notifications are allowing me to change the sound.
