Xperia Z2 :: Lost All Stock Ringtones And Notifications Sounds
Jan 4, 2015
How can i get my stock ringtones and notifications sounds back? Since I lost them I am unable to change my notification sound,it's really bugging me now and I don't want to factory reset my z2!
When I updated the software on my phone, I the standard ringtones and sounds that I was using.I'm an old fashioned type of person and like the standard old fashioned ringer, it was louder and longer. Also lost the sounds I used for text and BBM.Does anyone know if there is a place to recover all the ringers and sounds that were on the older version of the software WITHOUT incurring cost.
When picking a ringtone or notification, I used to get a few options that popped up.
Sound Picker, Zedge etc.
But the last time I changed a notification sound I mistakenly hit the Always button after picking Sound Picker and now all that I can pick from is Sound Picker.
I was having some problems with my xperai x10 mini pro sd card and had to format it recently unaware of the consequences i formatted it and now my phone doesn't have its default items such as photos, videos, alarm sounds, and other sounds and how to restore these.
The phone is about year old.Every time I try to use the high speed camera setting the screen turns blue. The normal videos and pictures dont come out good either.Anyone else have these issues? Any suggestions on how to clean the camera lens?Another issue is I had an Env2 think the vx9200 that had my ringtones and music on a memory card.I put that same card into the Dare and I can't set my sounds as a ringtone. The ones under 30 seconds I can but not the full songs like I could on the Evn. Is there a certain setting or specific way to use sounds for ringtones and alerts?
I noticed in my i9100 (bought recently) that the ringhtones had some Hindi names in the stock ringtones - 'Jeeley har pal', 'Umang', 'Saavan'Do they come with the stock SGS II i9100 ringtones or maybe some app has installed them.Need to confirm this to make sure I have not been ditched by the vendor and I am not using a second hand phone PS: If it helps, I am from India and need to confirm the stock ringtones that come with the Indian version?
This problem involves my stock ringtones, more than one though. I get a call and say Big Easy is the tone. It will play for 1 sec, then restart and play the whole tune. Same with Digital Phone sound...rings 1 time, but does not continue ringing. All sounds are on the internal card. I have tried safe recovery mode and still same thing.have also wiped cache of phone at recovery and of the apps. If I keep the tone on a full length selection, no problem, its just that the restarting of the full length and the single ring of the shorter single tones are disconcerting.
HTC one S - all of a sudden I have no notification sounds. All the settings are correct and when I do trial run with sound I can hear it but when and actual call or text message comes in all I get is vibrate, I get no sound. What's up with that? I have turned off and on hoping to reset - no go.
al the profile settings are correct, just randomly one day - since two days ago - i dont get a text noise.I even turned my phone off all last night. this morning - no change?
Over the past couple of days, my phone (iphone 4) has been random vibrating and/or making various sounds. When this happens, there are no notifications. It will just sound or buzz for what seems to be no reason. Most of the time, my applications are not on. I have push on for my mail application, but that's it. The phone is in good condition, it's never been dropped or damaged in any way.
When I go to Menu > Settings > Sounds . . Under the heading 'Notifications', I do not have the option of a check box to turn off the notification sounds. All I have is a drop down menu entitled, "Notification Ringtone". Within this menu, I have the options "Android System", "Handcent SMS" and "Zedge ringtones". None of these allow me the option of silencing the phones notification sounds.
What is happening is that I'm getting a double 'notification' tone every time I get a text, and it's driving me crazy. I get an overall notification beep from the phone, then a secondary tone from the Handcent app. And I really want to silence ALL of the phones overall notification sounds, and only receive the ones from the Handcent app when I get a text.
I performed a hard reset on my 1520 due to the camera freezing up on me after I pressed the shutter button. However, a new issue has arrived. Once I set up my phone again, using my most recent backup, I signed into all of my apps as usual, and then I found myself in Settings setting up my notifications sounds, banners, etc. But, the list was very short. The only apps in the list were the initial apps on the phone: messaging, phone, the email accounts, etc. Before I performed my hard reset, the notifications list included 6tag, Kik, and every other app that had notification abilities. Now, they are gone.
I am a newbie to Galaxy phones or android for that matter. I am trying to make my sounds for messages, emails, and notifications different but if I change the notification sound it changes all of them. If I change the messages sound it changes the notification sound also.
While I have figured out how to get the sound for individual contacts I cannot find the way to get this to work.
I want to prevent the "pop-up banners" from Google Hangouts from interrupting other programs and overlaying on top of the app that I am running. I still want my phone to vibrate when I get a notification from Google Hangouts.
I understand that there is supposed to be a menu choice under "Sounds and Notifications" called Interruptions. I do not have this choice.
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport and I am running Lollipop 5.0.
I have 8.1 on my 1520 and use my Bluetooth headset 97% of the time. I leave it connected all the time and noticed that I do not hear audible incoming text messages, e-mail alerts etc....... The alert sounds come through the Bluetooth headset, so just because I have my Bluetooth connected to my 1520 doesn't mean that I wear my headset all the time, so if I'm not wearing the headset a text message for example will come in and play the alert through the headset but I won't hear it obviously, so I have to check my phone periodically to see if I have text messages or e-mails that have come in.
My wife has even complained that I don't respond to her text messages right away the way I use to when I had my Note 2. On the Note my Bluetooth would be connected just like I do with my 1520, but the sounds/alerts would still be through the phone and audible for me to hear unless I put the phone on silent. Is this an oversight on MS part? Or just something that'll be fixed when the official 8.1 update rolls out???
I just purchased the S5 and I am a little confused. I have vibrating on for notifications but when I get a notification the sound plays but no vibration. I have a different sound for texting and other notifications. When I get a text I get the vibration but not with any other notification. Vibration intensity is set all the way.
just picked up an S2 from sprint as a replacement for HTC Evo.Great phone all around, however i`m having one issue. HTC Sense UI has an option to preview messages(2lines) and missed calls right(who and time) on lock screen. This is really handy option with small kids around you dont have to unlock your phone.Since S2 is missing that I've downloaded Notify App which works great. However - I cannot turn off stock notifications - they still show up - so at this time I have to clear notifications twice - once in App and once in Notifications Bar. Is there a way of turning off stock notifications (without custom ROM)? On all other phones i had - there was an option to go to Settings Privacy and uncheck the notifications. This is missing on S2 - all i can see under privacy is Reset to Factory.I really like the phone and how smooth it is. At this point i really dont want to do a custom ROM (`ill root it if need it)
I have not set up the IM progam on my phone. If I go into it there are no accounts listed. I received a notification that I had a new IM. I opened it and there was a person's name and a chat, but no inidication of how they were contacting me. GTalk? Facebook Chat? Text Message? Just their name. As it turns out, I subsequently opened GTalk and there was the conversation I just had.
I had custom sounds for my Ringtone and Notifications and over the weekend they just disappeared. The files are still saved in the same directories, but when I go into Setting to change the sound, my custom sounds do not appear any more.
Firstly, it seems that there is not a way to set the ringtones by contact group on this phone, can someone verify this or correct me please?Next up, I was not sure if the default phone was able to do distinct sounds for different contact's incoming sms (by group is better, but again I think it's not available by default)? Finally, if the phone cannot do these by default, two more questions:What is/are the best free ap/aps in your opinion to do these things? As I am new here, where would I make the suggestion or add my voice in support of it to include these as default features?
Moto? Really request ascending volume as a feature? We should be able to turn it off. It might be nice for a phone ringtone, but for a notification, it really doesn't work at all
I hate being blasted with notifications when I'm jamming out lol. Will this ever be a feature for windows phone? Its damn annoying to have the music blasting and get a notification that will blow out ur eardrums -_-
I can't seem to get my ringtones for notifications to work properly. I have it set as the mario 1-up sound but whenever someone texts me, I hear the Mario 1-up sound plus a song from my playlist. I can't seem to change that. It's been doing this for a few days now and I can't figure out why.
I know this is a Droid X issue as well. Whenever I un-mount my Droid 3 from my Mac Powerbook G4 all preset ringtones & notifications are reset to random ringtones/songs/notifications. I have to manually reset all my ringtones and notifications back to the sounds I want. It seems when the SD-cards are mounted in Mass Storage Mode, the info on the SD-cards is no longer available to the phone so it reassigns the ringtones and notifications. Once the SD-cards are re-mounted on phone the pre-set ringtones and notifications are no longer set. Unless there is a fix, I am looking to maybe root the phone and copy all my ringtones and notification tones to the system's media folder so they are permanently available to the phone.
I upgraded my ios5.0.1 to the latest ios5.1 and since the upgrade I no longer have a ring tone alert for incoming calls although they are set to a default ring tone that comes with the phone. I can go to settings-> sounds-> and slide the sounds and alert volume bar and hear the ring tone. I also lost the keyboard and lock clicks.
