Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Formatted SD Card And Lost All Default Items Such As Photos, videos, alarms, sounds Etc?
Mar 8, 2011
I was having some problems with my xperai x10 mini pro sd card and had to format it recently unaware of the consequences i formatted it and now my phone doesn't have its default items such as photos, videos, alarm sounds, and other sounds and how to restore these.
I just bought a new Xperia Z2 mobile. I inserted a Samsung SDXC 64 BG micro sd card. After selecting "save photos to SD card by default" option in camera setting, I took pictures and it gave a message "Memory Error" and the pictures weren't saved on SD card. I tried doing this a few times but didn't work.
i have had my sony ericsson xperia 10 mini pro for nearly 2 months now, recently though i cannot play any music or use the camera because it keeps saying please insert memory card even though there is a memory card in,which has been working fine up until now. I have tried everything but with no joy.
I have sony Xperia z2 with samsung Samsung EVO 128Gb Micro SD Card.its brand new one. Firstly I transferred my apps to that but there is no any problem with that.then i moved my photos and videos to sd card. It was 100% complected.then i after restarts the phone all photos are gone. And videos are shown in videos but i tried to play them then I got massage cannot play.
Then I used file commander and go in to the sd card in DCMI folder there is no any thing. Videos are shown but i cant play. Then I removed sd card from phone and I copied some photos and videos with computer. Then I put sd card into the phone i got same problem again. There is no any problems with the photos which are saved in internal storage. I got the problem after I transferred them in to SD card.
Since i've installed the 5.1.1 update, i'm facig troubles with my sdcard : at boot time, the phone reports the sdcard is broken and need to be formatted.
If i pull out the sdcard from the slot and then insert it back, everything is fine, the problem is only when i boot the phone.
Another strange thing : if i power off my phone and plug it to charge it, it boot instead of showing the battery charging animation.
Does anyone know how to change the default storage to the external Memory card when downloading apps from the market place for th SE x10min pro?So far I've downloaded few apps and they all get downloaded to the phone memory. So it's nearly full but the SD card still has 1.8GB. If there isn't a default option, does anyone know how to get around the issue?
I noticed that if I have 2 alarms and I change the alarm sound then this will affect all alarms! How can I set different alarm sounds for different alarms?
I was funally switching everything to the iCloud, iPad went great, iPhone not so well. I lost all my Photos on my iPhone. how I can get them back? For some reason when I made the switch I was never asked if I wanted to back up my Photos or anything.
I'd like to be able to have the snooze function off by default when creating alarms using the Clock app (particularly for alarms created via Siri, but also for manually set alarms), but there seems to be no way to do this. Do you have to create the alarm first and then edit it to set the snooze facility off?
I was using my Blackberry Desktop manager last night to move a video from my laptop to my BB Bold 9000.Now, in the move from my "computer" to a folder on my media card, it DELETED all the videos I had in that folder.I know there were there before I made the move as I saw them located on the bottom part of part of the manager. Then, they were gone. The reason I am in suck a worry about getting these back is they are very personal videos for me. (Of my daughters 1st words, steps, etc)I NEED to get these back.
How can i get my stock ringtones and notifications sounds back? Since I lost them I am unable to change my notification sound,it's really bugging me now and I don't want to factory reset my z2!
I've just performed upgrade to ICS and now it seems that I can not move email items from Sent folder on my Exchange account. In other folders it is OK, only Sent items are affected. On previous Android OS version I could do that, as well as on my iPad and iPhone.
How do I see my sent box, inbox etc. All I see on the home screen is in the top left corner an envelope I can press to compile a text message. Where is my inbox, sent box etc? Also how do I delete a draft message? Can't see a delete option anywhere?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5, unrooted, and I have been using a Samsung Evo 32 GB MicroSD card since I bought the phone in July. About a week ago I went to check for a photo and found that all of my photo albums that were stored on the MicroSD card were not found, along with all of my music and ringtones. When I looked at the storage, it didn't read my MicroSD card at all.
I turned off the phone, took out the microSD card, and put it into my Samsung Galaxy TabPro tablet, but my tablet read no data at all on the MicroSD card.
I tried to put the MicroSD card into an adapter to look at it on my laptop, but the adapter software said the card had to be formatted before it could be opened in Windows, so I dropped that idea for now.
How to have my card readable again or at least be able to retrieve the photos that were on the card? I had transferred a lot of personal and important photos onto the card (recent weddings of friends and family, pictures of my dog, etc.), and I'll be pretty upset if that's all truly lost forever.
When i try to open my mem card it says Memory Card not formatted; Format mem card ? after i press yes it says Operation Failed.i tried my mem card on other phone and it worked i also tried other mem card on my phone and i got the same problem. So it's the phone problem
I have a problem with my N82 Series Nokia.I wanted to update my maps via Ovi Software. I do this and it worked fine.Afterwards I tried to check the new maps but only a green area appeared. I accessed the sd card in the phone and only get the message "card full" (or something). Now I turned off the cellphone and put the sd card into my pc. But Windows just ask to format the card because it is not formatted. This is really very "unfunny" all data on the card are lost? I just wanted to update the maps. On a other thread I read that only a few maps (maybe not whole europe) can stored on the cards. That ok, but the Ovi software has to take care about this not the user. The sw has to check the free space and what you want to download. If windows says, that I have to format the card than I have a other chance or is there no chance to get the card with the stored data working?
A couple of weeks ago I created a Back-Up & updated the software on my BFs BB Bold 9780, as he was getting a message saying there was no space for new photos when using the Camera, after BF had taken a photo. The photo was not stored, but there seemed to still be quite a bit of space on the Media Card.Following the update BF now gets a message each time he tries to access the Media Gallery or use the Camera, saying the the Media Card has not been formatted & providing a prompt to do so. After you format the Media Card it is possible to then take a photo. Or a couple of photos. If you try to go back to the Camera again or to access the Media Gallery the message comes back saying that the Media Card has not been formatted & provides another prompt to do so. If you follow the prompt again, you have delete all the data on the card. If you do not follow the prompt the Camera or Media Gallery does not open, you just go back to the title screen.
Last night I tried to connect BFs BB 9780 to my Laptop & after what seemed ages it hadn't connected & then when I finally disconnected the USB Cable, I received an error message on my Laptop saying the Media Card had a fatal something & could not be read...
The BB 9780 has suffered no real trauma to speak of, aside from dropped once or twice. The media card looks okay, I have removed it & put it back, still no change.
I think I made a big mistake when I was formatting my M2 card. Instead of using the phone to format I used the disk utility in Snow Leopard. I formatted the card to FAT32, but my C902 can't see it. Is there any way I can fix this?
due to several reasons it seems that I need to format my N5800 XM existing memory card but I have installed quite a lot of applications so recreating them would be quite a pain. The question is: is it possible to do a complete backup from the Nokia Ovi Suite program, format the memory card and then _restore_ all contents including memory card contents so it will be exactly as before?
So I finally got my blackberry 9700 and I am in LOVE with it! I bought a 16GB memory card for it, insertet it and transfered a bunch of music. (it took hours).None of the music was transferred to my phone. Then I found out that my sd card wasn't formatted or something, and my phone won't read it. when I try to format it it fails..
I updated my xperia ray to ICS and everything went just fine. But when I'm about to check my photos and videos, they're all gone. I tried looking for them through my file manager and Media Go, but nothing. My ASTRO app is not working properly either. They still occupies space on my SD card which mean they're still there but I can't see them. What should I do???
I've had my Z3+ for about 4 months now and never had any problems. Since updating it a week ago I've had two, one which I managed to fix myself and recently I've had a photo and a video that won't open after taking them, luckily it was a random video of my dog and nothing important, but I imagine if it was something more important I'd be a little more annoyed. Also I have another picture that has a large, thick, white block down the left hand side, so half corrupted.
I have a problem, camera photos that I have are randomly deleted and I can't see them - I keep seeing the symbol of the pictures album with a black background.
Example- [URL] ...
I tried to recover them by moving them and videos to the SD card and they keep being untouchable. If I try to access them by the file commander or my computer I see only half of the photo.
I've had my Curve 8900 for a long time now and I've never had this problem until now. I realized yesterday that when I deleted hundreds of photos from my SD card, there were 'empty' files still sitting in my photo album on my bb.. (icon is of a piece of paper with a drawing of mountains and a sun, with a green arrow pointing to the left) Sorry, this is my first post so I can't post a photo
When I look in my SD card on my computer, all the files I deleted are gone.So I tried formatting my SD card to completely erase everything and start over. I formatted it on both my computer and my blackberry. But the weird files are still sitting in my photo album!Does anyone know how I can get rid of them?
