Galaxy S5 :: Photos And Music Lost On Micro SD Card
Nov 30, 2015I have a Samsung Galaxy S5, unrooted, and I have been using a Samsung Evo 32 GB MicroSD card since I bought the phone in July. About a week ago I went to check for a photo and found that all of my photo albums that were stored on the MicroSD card were not found, along with all of my music and ringtones. When I looked at the storage, it didn't read my MicroSD card at all.
I turned off the phone, took out the microSD card, and put it into my Samsung Galaxy TabPro tablet, but my tablet read no data at all on the MicroSD card.
I tried to put the MicroSD card into an adapter to look at it on my laptop, but the adapter software said the card had to be formatted before it could be opened in Windows, so I dropped that idea for now.
How to have my card readable again or at least be able to retrieve the photos that were on the card? I had transferred a lot of personal and important photos onto the card (recent weddings of friends and family, pictures of my dog, etc.), and I'll be pretty upset if that's all truly lost forever.

Oct 24, 2015I have sony Xperia z2 with samsung Samsung EVO 128Gb Micro SD Card.its brand new one. Firstly I transferred my apps to that but there is no any problem with that.then i moved my photos and videos to sd card. It was 100% complected.then i after restarts the phone all photos are gone. And videos are shown in videos but i tried to play them then I got massage cannot play.
Then I used file commander and go in to the sd card in DCMI folder there is no any thing. Videos are shown but i cant play. Then I removed sd card from phone and I copied some photos and videos with computer. Then I put sd card into the phone i got same problem again. There is no any problems with the photos which are saved in internal storage. I got the problem after I transferred them in to SD card.

Sep 2, 2012I have bought a new mobile Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini pro Sk17i and using a 4GB Micro SD Transcend card in it. All goes fine. But sometimes when I open the camera it shows an error "Memory card is write protected. Cannot edit files". The same error I get when I try to open the galler or media player. But I use a third party File manager App which shows and allow me to open the contents in the Micro SD card except image and music, video files. Other files such as .pdf, .html open in Adobe reader, HTML viewer or browser without any issue. Also this error does not appear after I restart the mobile. For some 5 - 6 usage of camera this error again appears. And the card is not damaged since I checked with connecting to the Laptop thorugh USB mode (both Mass storage and Media transfer mode) also through a card reader, everything works fine.

Quite embarrassing they don't know the information about a product that they design and sell.
So i would like to buy a 64GB micro card but if the phone cannot read/write for example 90 mb/s I would rather not buy that fast card.

Nov 21, 2011My SD card recently fail so I lost all my photos and music. I only had a couple of pictures but there was 1 that I really wanted to keep. I just installed my new SD card.
What I am hoping to find out is that the picture I wanted the most is still showing on the Photo Gallery start page/ Desk Top, or what ever it is called on a phone. Where is this image coming from and can I save it back to my gallery?

If I delete files with pc or the phone, it disappears from the screen but come back again. None of the file are corrupted cos they work well but i cant delete nor format anything. Jul 3, 2010I have just transferred data to an SD card -which I have done before with no problems- only this time it decided to move most of my apps which I have had to re install as I couldnt access them and it has moved photos which I now cannot find.
How do I find the photos as they are not in my album? Or has it wiped them completely? If i hadnt just uploaded them to facebook I would have lost them.
The icons for messenger, ebay and instagram are now not the actual icons and are just file icon. Its made a complete mess of my everything on my phone and I need the photos as i use many of them as visuals for business. How can I find where they are stored and can i transfer them back to internal storage from the sd card?
