Yesterday I shot several photos... The mobile asked me if I wanted to move them to the sd card since the mobile memory storage was reaching the 75% of its capacity. I said yes and then the photos were moved to the sd card but now they are all black. I was wondering if a original copy was left inside the mobile storage memory. I've seen several apps to recover pictures but the mobile has to be rooted...

Now to the problem: My Z2 runs 4.4.2, version 17.1.2.A.0.314, but I can not move any app to the card from within Settings -> Apps.
When I bought my Xperia Neo, I received a free 8gb micro SD-card from class 2. I wanted a faster one and a bigger one to fullfill my new preferences. I bought a Transcend 16gb micro SD-card class 6.
1) Is this compatible with my Sony Ericsson smartphone?
2) How do I transfer all my data from my current SD-card to the new one without losing my installed apps, pictures and other stuff that's installed on.
OK we can't as yet (Hope Lollipop will be different - Motorola and other dont have thois problem) move apps to SD card - but can I move Movies got from Google? Taking up about 5gb, I'd like to clear space - but I can't even FIND the things, but the space IS taken up. Where are they stored ? How can I get to them ? Not showing up in "Movie" ....
View 3 Replies View RelatedYesterday I made a light mistake. Because I bought a bigger sd card for my D6603. During the copy and installation of the new SD card in my phone, I used the "move to SD card" function. Several apps were transferred which was fine. Without thinking I reinstalled the SD card a second time. After this I realized my mistake. 14 apps were missing in my launcher. Most apps I could reinstall on the phone and then move to SD card to recover them. But only on app is missing. I dont know yet if it is a default app from 5.1.1. installation or a downloaded one.
1.) Do you have a picture of side 1 to 3 of an fresh installed D6603 with 5.1.1? So I can compare the installed apps.
2.) How can I found out the name of the missing app in a not rooted 5.1.1.?
I have a Sony Xperia Z3 16GB version and Recently I had been to a hiking trip and had used my Xperia Z3 on the trip extensively for photos and vidoes. I have taken as much as 600 photos and few videos of size 2.9 GB. Since the phone memory was getting full, i moved the images,videos using the "Move Files to SD Card" option found under "Settings --> Storage".
The Transfer finished successfully and the phone memory was relieved. Now after this transfer, i can't open any images moved to SD card. They all were moved to "DCIM --> 100ANDRO" folder.
The photos seem to be corrupted. ALL OF THEM
This is such a mess and I tried a few tools for recovering the images. They didn't woork for me. How to recover these photos? These are memories from a Trip which I can do only once in life time.
The jpeg image properties show up the File Size clearly which means that the content is still there but somehow corrupted.
I made a folder within the camera roll folder, dropped my pics in all together...dragged the folder on to my desktop and POOF - the folder and all the images (except ONE photo copies 17 times) are GONE!!? what do I do?

I was able to successfully transfer my music using HTC Sync manager, although it took me forever. Since then, Ive tried to move photos, but give up every time in frustration. The software crashes, lags, and just plain sucks, even with the new software update (today)
I'd love to somehow drag n drop, but my phone won't even show up in finder (I'm on a Mac) as a device I can transfer files to (it shows up as CD-ROM?) I cannot drag files to it.

I have 120 photos in my iPhone that I would like to move to my iPhoto on my iMac. I have emailed 1 - 3 photos to the email I use on my iMac, but here I have 120 photos. I got an iPhoto app for my iPhone thinking that would have an easy way to move photos from my iPhone to iPhoto on my iMac. I have not found any way to move a large number of photos from the iPhone to my iMac. I thought maybe when I connected to my iMac to Sync I would find a way to move a large number of photos but as yet I have found no way. How can I get these 120 photos (each about 1.3mb) from my iPhone to my iMac (iPhoto)?

There is no specific time when they dissapear, they just do. it may take a few days or even a few hours until they dissapear.and not only photos taken with the camera, saved wallpapers too, pics transfered from my pc... i have no idea what happens, i dont see them anywhere, not on my computer, not in my phone. i have read some discussions here but there is not my problems, at least the others see their photos with the pc. mine just vanish. i really dont know what to do. i have changed the sd card and has the same problem; updated to ics, same thing.

(I didn't interrupt it) now I can't view any pics in the gallery. If I look in file commander they are there as thumbnails but I can't view them full screen.

Firstly I transferred my apps to that but there is no any problem with that.then i moved my photos and videos to sd card. It was 100% complected.then i after restarts the phone all photos are gone. And videos are shown in videos but i tried to play them then I got massage cannot play.
Then I used file commander and go in to the sd card in DCMI folder there is no any thing. Videos are shown but i cant play. Then I removed sd card from phone and I copied some photos and videos with computer. Then I put sd card into the phone i got same problem again. There is no any problems with the photos which are saved in internal storage. I got the problem after I transferred them in to SD card.
I've just taken some photos. And I've opened my Sony Bridge. But, I can't see the new photos. I suppose I can only see the photos that are in the memory card ... correct?
My questions are:
- how to force my mobile to always save the photos on the card?
- how do I transfer the photos from the internal memory to my card (I usually wait for the message saying the internal memory is 75% full)
One time I edited photos from my Camera Roll taken from our trip. About 6 of em i think. Then it crashed, gave me a black screen so i had to restart my phone. The next morning when i check my PHOTOS, the 6 photos were gone!! Now, while I was on Skype video chat, I took maybe 10 screenshots and of course you're able to hear the shutter every time. But when I check my PHOTOS, they are not there! I feel really bad because the photos i took were very important to me. I am so worried that this will happen again if i go on trip or capture a precious moment and find out that i got nothing.

My storage is getting low so I decided to delete some old pictures. Saw that it is moving to trash and not clearing the space.
I tried to empty trash using the empty trash option, but none of the pics were deleted. Only when I select specific pics in the trash and delete them, it is deleted for good.

I restarted my iPhone, I re-launched iPhoto and still nothing. I did open iTunes and it does show up there but it still won't show up in iPhoto. What am I missing?

I can't find the photos i click in my memory card. where do the photos get saved? how do i get them transferred to my phone?.

I have just transferred data to an SD card -which I have done before with no problems- only this time it decided to move most of my apps which I have had to re install as I couldnt access them and it has moved photos which I now cannot find.
How do I find the photos as they are not in my album? Or has it wiped them completely? If i hadnt just uploaded them to facebook I would have lost them.
The icons for messenger, ebay and instagram are now not the actual icons and are just file icon. Its made a complete mess of my everything on my phone and I need the photos as i use many of them as visuals for business. After installing 5.1.1 google photos cant delete pictures from SD card, and have to launch Sony album app to delete photos. This was working just fine before..
