IPhone 5 :: Doesn't Show Up In IPhoto For Moving Photos To Album
Jun 5, 2014
I wanted to move some of the new photos on my iPhone to an album in iPhoto on my Mac and I could not get my iPhone to show up in iPhoto. I restarted my iPhone, I re-launched iPhoto and still nothing. I did open iTunes and it does show up there but it still won't show up in iPhoto. What am I missing?
I have 120 photos in my iPhone that I would like to move to my iPhoto on my iMac. I have emailed 1 - 3 photos to the email I use on my iMac, but here I have 120 photos. I got an iPhoto app for my iPhone thinking that would have an easy way to move photos from my iPhone to iPhoto on my iMac. I have not found any way to move a large number of photos from the iPhone to my iMac. I thought maybe when I connected to my iMac to Sync I would find a way to move a large number of photos but as yet I have found no way. How can I get these 120 photos (each about 1.3mb) from my iPhone to my iMac (iPhoto)?
New HTC one owner here. I can't sync my photos from iPhoto to my phone.
I was able to successfully transfer my music using HTC Sync manager, although it took me forever. Since then, Ive tried to move photos, but give up every time in frustration. The software crashes, lags, and just plain sucks, even with the new software update (today)
I'd love to somehow drag n drop, but my phone won't even show up in finder (I'm on a Mac) as a device I can transfer files to (it shows up as CD-ROM?) I cannot drag files to it.
I have some pictures that I'd like to move to an album that already exists. When I tap Add the only option available was to a new album. Why can't we move photos from the Camera Roll to an existing album?
recovery of my photos that disappeared from my camera roll after moving them to the album that I set up on my iPad. They are recent photos I took on my holidays. Â
whenever i open the album folder it takes a long time to show the photos stored in it... i dont know the reason why it takes such a long time to show the pictures... can i know how to make it to work faster..?
I want to transfer an album on my iPhoto to my iPhone 5s. When I plug in my iPhone to my computer and bring up iTunes, however, a Photos tab is not present. Is there another way to transfer my
My iPhone 3G is being recognised perfectly happily by iTunes, but absolutely nothing else. It doesn't appear in Finder and doesn't open iPhoto when I plug it in, so I can back up my photos.
I've tried restarting both the Mac (which is running Snow Leopard) and the iPhone. I've tried several cables. The result is always the same. iTunes spots the iPhone (it did use to automatically open iTunes, but I stopped that) and nothing else. No icon on the desktop, no appearance in Finder and won't show in any searches I do.
How can I fix this, and start backing up photos again?
I'm able to create as many albums as I want under the main camera roll. from what I can see, I can add photos from my camera roll to an album but the two images are connected. so what happens is when I try to create albums according to event or subject, if I wanted to delete the original from the camera roll, it also deletes the copied image. What gives? Is there a way to have multiple albums on iphone where images won't be deleted?
When I plug my iphone 4 into my macbook pro it opens up iphoto, but no longer syncs the photos from my phone to my computer? How do I fix this? Iphoto doesn't show my iphone in the side bar like it used to.
I recently downloaded the iphoto app to my iPhone 4s. I am hoping to clear up some space on my iphone and I deleted some pics from what I thought was the camera roll within iphoto. I noticed later that while attempting to change my wallpaper, I noticed that pics I thought I deleted were still on the phone as evidenced by their availability to be used as wallpaper. I checked that I had selected cameral roll and not photostream, where it would make sense the photos would still be there. When I left settings I noticed that I have iphoto and the phots app on my iphone. Do I need both? And if i want to delete photos, do I need to delete photos from the cameral roll within iphoto AND the photos app??
The past several months I have tried syncing photos from my camera roll on my iPhone 4 to iPhoto have ended in iPhoto stuck on "Loading Photos" and no photos are ever loaded. I have over 300 photos on my phone since the last time I uploaded them.Something happened to my phone and I need to send it in for a replacement and I would rather not lose all of my pictures due to problems with my iPhoto syncing. Help!!I have tried enabling Photo Stream on my phone but I can't enable it on iPhoto for some reason. There is no iCloud option in my system preferences. Yes, I do have the latest version of iPhoto (besides the new iLife). I just updated my iPhone software to 5.1.1 still no luck.
My iphone 4 won't sync to my iphoto on my macbook. Instead of the pictures popping up, its just black boxes where the images used to be. I try to click import photos and the process starts and then errors out.
I just synced my iphoto from my mac to my Iphone 5s and now I can't delete the pictures i don't want from iphoto. It also deleted most of the pictures from my camera roll. What do I do to delete the pictures I don't want and get my other pictures back?
I have downloaded photos from my macbook air to my Iphone 4s using Iphoto and now i cant delete those photos off my Iphone !!! How to get rid of those photos from my Iphone ?!?
I imported some photos/videos from my iPhone onto my iPhoto library. I still have those photos/videos saved on my iPhone but now I want to delete them. If I do, will they still be saved in iPhoto? I'm planning on importing the rest of my photos/videos as well and then deleting them all off my iPhone after (it's taking up a lot of space on my phone). Can I do that and still have them permanently saved in iPhoto, even when I plug my iPhone into my Mac?
I've just installed iOS 5.1.1, discovered that not all photos that I checked in iTunes had been synchronized to my iPhone, noted that Other was taking up lots of space, restored the iPhone from a backup, discovered that it still did not subsequently sync all requested photos, selected to sync no photos and delete those on the iPhone, and am in the process of once again syncing the photos that I selected.
Now I notice that I selected 25,287 photos, but iTunes is reporting "Copying photo ... of 13,320". Why just 13,320? I elected to erase all the photos on the iPhone, so I would expect that iTunes would have to copy all 25,287!
Maybe Apple would be wise to invest some cash in software quality control. iOS 5 and iPhoto '11 are seriously flawed.

I am trying to figure out a way to get my photos from my iPhone 4s to automatically download into iPhoto or elsewhere on my Mac without plugging up my phone to my computer.
I am not able to download my photos from my iphone 4 to image capture or iphoto. i am able to see the jpg files but not see the preview and when i tried downloading, it says error.
