I am having this problem recently where when i take a photo it seems to disappear after a few days all that's left in my album is a black square. If i tap the black square it says media not found or its just blank when as i am typing this 3 photo have disappeared ...

I have tried to delete photos in my camera roll and it just turns the thumbnails black and still shows just a black square
View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter I updated my phone to lollipop I have noticed that all my previous time shift burst photos have messed up. They used to show up in the album as one photo which I could click into and move the slider up and down to select my favourite pic. Now it is showing all 61 pics as separate photos in the album.
New timeshift burst photos are behaving correctly. How can I fix this?
Yesterday I updated my Neo V to ICS, everything looks to work fine except for the Music Player.The music files are present in the device but the album art is not showing. I've checked the files transferring some to my PC and Windows Media Play shows the art. Tried to sync with Media Go and even erased a full album and transferred it againg to the phone with no succes.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my S6 i upload a lot of my ripped CD's in MP3 format from my PC. Using Google Play on my Nexus 5, since the album art (even if you have the art in the same directory as music) doesnt show need to use an app, so i use Album Art Grabber from the GPS.
On my Nexus 5, the only time i'd need to re-run to grab the artwork is if I added new music...so i'd have to clear the Data from Google Play (Play Music), run Art Grabber and then run Google Play again. With the S6 however, im finding the artwork keeps disappearing every 24 hours or so. I keep having to re-run the Album Art grabber and cannot understand why. Never had this issue on my Nexus 5.
it happens with both Google Play and Stock Music player app, some cache clearing is happening over some hours and i cant figure it out.
I recently added a new album to my 'iPhone' playlist in iTunes which I sync with my iPhone.
However, when I went to my phone, and searched under artist, the album was not there! The two other albums I have by that artist are there but not the new one.
What's weirder is that it DOES appear on my iPhone if I search for it under the album tab. But it does not come up when looking under the artist tab (just the other two albums that I have by that artist).

My Download album keeps disappearing from the Gallery, as do all the pics I've saved to it. When I start saving again, the album reappears and begins to store pics (in this case from emails) but after a few days I'll notice it's gone again.

I tryed to go the other way around so I opened the Album app and tryed to edit one of the photos so I could upload it from the "Edited photos" album. Everytime I tryed so the phone gave me the following message: "Ninguna aplicación puede realizar esta acción" (No application can perform this action).

I did the same with many photos with the same result: I can only edit the last 16 photos.

I restarted the phone but the problem persisted.
Since I upgraded to android 5.1.1 most apps that I frequently use don't open anymore or are crashing once I open them! plus I can't view Any of my photos in the album as I am greeted with just a black screen.

But if I close the camera and try to view the pictures I have just taken in the Album all I can see is the Album symbol (two mountains?) with a zig-zag line through it and no picture. View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently all photos I send with text messages appear square. They are cut off at the top. When I view them in my photo stream they are rectangular. I do not use the square option on the camera.
The only way I have been able to fix the problem is to go to the photo I want to use, edit it and crop to a rectangular aperture.
I'm able to create as many albums as I want under the main camera roll. from what I can see, I can add photos from my camera roll to an album but the two images are connected. so what happens is when I try to create albums according to event or subject, if I wanted to delete the original from the camera roll, it also deletes the copied image. What gives? Is there a way to have multiple albums on iphone where images won't be deleted?

I can see a black spot on screen when the camera is on. Its not there when the front camera is on. I got my phone serviced 2 weeks back from an authorized service centre.

The photo's thumbnail remains intact, but the photo itself will just show a partial block of the image with the rest just gray, or odd lines. It began with photos on the internal storage, so I moved them to the external sd card, and it happens there as well. I've tried other gallery apps and sending them to the computer, but it appears they are permanently corrupted. (Other than the easy response of factory reset)
