I do have a question regarding my Xperia Z3 Compact memory card slot max. read/write speed. I tried to find out from the Hungarian and UK technical support, but no hope, none of them knows the answer. Quite embarrassing they don't know the information about a product that they design and sell.
So i would like to buy a 64GB micro card but if the phone cannot read/write for example 90 mb/s I would rather not buy that fast card.
I'am using nokia 5233. I had this problem for 3 or 4 times my mobile shows disk error can't complete read or write data. Then I can't open memory card and can't format it in 5233 I formated it in nokia 2700 then it works why is this happening? and what can i do for it?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have bought a new mobile Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini pro Sk17i and using a 4GB Micro SD Transcend card in it. All goes fine. But sometimes when I open the camera it shows an error "Memory card is write protected. Cannot edit files". The same error I get when I try to open the galler or media player. But I use a third party File manager App which shows and allow me to open the contents in the Micro SD card except image and music, video files. Other files such as .pdf, .html open in Adobe reader, HTML viewer or browser without any issue. Also this error does not appear after I restart the mobile. For some 5 - 6 usage of camera this error again appears. And the card is not damaged since I checked with connecting to the Laptop thorugh USB mode (both Mass storage and Media transfer mode) also through a card reader, everything works fine.

I found a note (probably on xda developers, I'm not sure) that you can put 64 GB Micro SD inside Xperia Mini, but the phone will (among others) run VERY SLOWLY.
I don't want to try 64 GB, but I thought about 32 GB class 10 card (now I am using 16 GB, class 10). Should I expect any slowdown of my phone?
Got the X8 last week and Im trying to backup the phone but its not reading the memory card ''please insert a memory card''. Its very frustrating and yesterday it wasn't reading the SIM card, will i have to get the phone replaced?

I did not know my media files were saved on my SD card. I thought they were saved on my device.
In the options, under Memory, it says Media Card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card has been formatted.
First I took the memory SD mini card 8G out and put it back in.
Still same message.
So then I went to Format and formatted it...as it asked me to do.
Error message came up. Saying Format Failed.
However all my files are gone.
I am so mad that my blackberry told me to ensure it was formatted. Everything is gone off my BB.
Is there a way to recover this data?
I haven't backed up my BB before.
I justgot a new xperia play and the simcard wont fit into the space, it seems to be jammed or too small a space for the card?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my Blackberry Torch for a few months and it used to flash "Media Card Inserted/Removed" constantly (alternating between the two) untill I would just take it out and give up. Now it has got to the point where it won't read any memory cards at all. I recently posted about this and was told to format the card in my PC then in my phone, which worked great for a few hours then it flashed "Media Card Removed" and was not recognised at all after that. Now when I repeat the format procedure (in PC then in phone) it recognises it for about 10 seconds then says its removed. The media card slot doesn't appear to be damaged or loose.

I took it to shop which fix phones, So it reinstalled my 10V OS (I had installed it by my self) into 9.40V it is quite better, but phone lags a lot, restarts it self, memory card isn't working well too. Memory card is good, works on other devices, and I used it for lot of time before on this device.

I double checked to be sure the adaptor wasn't locked and even tried with another memory card and it was fine with the other card.My 8gb card is new and i formatted it as i put it in my bb. Do you want to format it now?". The card seems to work fine in the phone, all the data is available. I didn't used to have this issue before, but I wouldn't be able to tell you off hand when I last used the card via card reader.
So my first guess was that some recent firmware upgrade may have changed the filesystem on the mem card. I downloaded the ext2/3 drivers from ext2fsd.com , but that didn't help either. I haven't yet had a chance to connect the phone via USB directly and explore the card that way, but it usually takes quite long to transfer files that way.
