Aug 7, 2012I moved my some apps to the sd card. When I reboot my phone may I be able to carry them to my phone or its just one way.

Lumia 1520 :: Done SD Card Swap And Have Lost All Apps
Jan 8, 2015Yesterday I replaced my SD Card from a San disk 32GB to a Sandisk 64GB for use with my Nokia Lumia 1520. Before I done that, I copied like for like the directories on the 32GB card to the 64GB card. Everything is there but its does not recognized my apps and i have to uninstall it the re-install it. Only apps installed on the phone are still there. Also my photos are there in the file manager but they don't come up in the Main Photo Gallery.

May 28, 2012I have seen a few posts related to media card issues, but they all seem to come back to the solution being to format the card. I had the issue with a 32Gb card (which works fine in the PC) and I am now having the same issue with the 16Gb I bought to replace it (having thought it might simply be the running a 32Gb size that was the issue.
It worked briefly and it stored a couple of GPS tracks, but it now won't repair at all... is there something I can check on my phone? I am also having issues with Appworld and am in the process of tryng to reinstall it as it disappeared from the desktop view.

Aug 18, 2012I'm new to the forum. Anyway I bought my Curve 9360 in January from the o2 store. Last month a message popped up on my screen saying 'a media card has been inserted that contains errors. Do you wish to repair the Media Card now' I clicked yes. After that I got another message saying 'If lost clusters are found during the repair, do you want to save them?' again I pressed yes. The problem was successfully repaired. Today the same thing happened except this time it said 'Media card repair failed'. I searched how to repair it but I don't seem to understand how to do it.

Oct 24, 2015I have sony Xperia z2 with samsung Samsung EVO 128Gb Micro SD Card.its brand new one. Firstly I transferred my apps to that but there is no any problem with that.then i moved my photos and videos to sd card. It was 100% complected.then i after restarts the phone all photos are gone. And videos are shown in videos but i tried to play them then I got massage cannot play.
Then I used file commander and go in to the sd card in DCMI folder there is no any thing. Videos are shown but i cant play. Then I removed sd card from phone and I copied some photos and videos with computer. Then I put sd card into the phone i got same problem again. There is no any problems with the photos which are saved in internal storage. I got the problem after I transferred them in to SD card.

Oct 16, 2011So, a couple days ago, I noticed my pics had disappeared. The phone said "A Media Card has been insert that contains errors" and I tried to repair them, but as others have found, "Media Card Repair Failed". When I plugged both the phone, and then the media card via a card reader, into my laptop, the "camera" folder was simply a Unix file, not a folder anymore, and obviously no contents. So is the problem the card, or is the instructions for the camera missing? I've tried taking the battery out a few times to reboot - no effect. I've tried "repair" repeatedly and that doesn't work. I've not managed to re-format the card so do let me know how exactly to do that via the phone, if you think that's the best option.

I had calander apps with important dates in, and a notes facility which contained all sorts of vital information including passwords I don't have recorded else where (stupid I know). Mar 14, 2012I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?
