IPhone :: Lost Some Apps After Syncing/restoring, How To Get Lost Data Back

I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

I upgraded my iPhone to the newest version (5.1.1) I believe. iTunes backed my Phone up and once everything was completed, I restored it but all my stuff got deleted such as Photo's, Apps, Text Messages. Contacts came back after I logged in to my account.

I recently had to undate and restore my iphone with the latest software, but wasn't able to back up the phone to my computer before it finished the process. I lost half my picture, notes, music, and a lot of other stuff from my phone. Is there any way i can recover this lost content from my phone?

I recently restored my iphone, and after restoring when I asked itunes to restore data from the last backup, it said that the last backup was corrupt; thus it restored my phone as new. is there a way to get my data back, as in from the 2nd last backup?

I ran into a problem recently, I had to restore my iPhone to factory settings and in doing so I lost all my apps. I also got a new computer and don't have my old computer with all my apps on itunes.Basically I don't have my apps on my iPhone or computer.Is there any way I can recover my apps using my itunes account?

Last week i had a major malfunction on my PC.now when i try and sync my i-phone all my apps are still on my i-phone but they are all gone from my pc.the i-phone will not sync to the pc and restore the apps.i tried to d/l an app that is on the phone, the pc said i had already paid for it but had no downloaded yet.i downloaded it months ago.where did my pc apps go? do i have to d/l all the apps again? any ideas would be appreciated!

Im in Thailand and I was having trouble with my message settings at the "recieve at" had my number and ERROR next to it, so I was told to go to the hotel computer, download itunes, sign into my apple ID then restore and backup to reset the phone, however when I did this, it erased everything on my phone and replaced it with someone call "panu" and it was in german, so I gather this was probably the peron before me using this computer, however it was signed into my apple ID so why did it do that and how do I get it back? also my icloud wasnt turned on and theres no data saved there? Ive lost everything, contacts, pictures

Why does my phone sometime not open apps, they flicker, and just don;t open. I tried the reset, deleted then re-installed. Works for a while, but one app I use tracks mileage and when this happens, I lose the data.

Google Calendar lost all data... looks fine on PC and Nexus 7... will not sync... tried clearing app cache... tried clearing all phone cache... tried reming and reinstalling Google Calendar app... tried removing and reinstalling Google Account... when looking at sync settings for google account, calendar is not listed... i forgot my passcode and had to reset my phone which meant all data was lost. I took a few photos after i got my phone back from the reset. I went home and synced my phone with iTunes and restored my data. However, all the photos that were restored only traced back to August 7 and the photos i previously took after my phone was reset were all gone. I took them using VSCO Cam and the Camera app, but i can't recover any of them! I tried to rebuild thumbnails via VSCO cam but still, my library was empty. My photo album only consists of pictures that are dated up to around August 7.

After an issue with my N97 where I was unable to do any backups from the phone to the internal memory card, I reformatted and reinstalled the apps to my N97 (making sure I did a backup using PC Suite before hand).
Upon restoring the PC Suite image, I found that it didn't restore the list of favourites which have meant that I've lost them all - I'm sure I remember that the backup to memory card did make a copy of them, but as I wasn't able to do this, this wasn't a possible solution .....
Luckily, Google Maps have most of my starred items (favourites) saved, (barring the one I managed to unstar by accident), but it appears as if Google doesn't store the actual co-ordinates and doesn't allow them to be exported ... So in short - is there anyway at all I can get my favourites back ?

So I have been having trouble with updating a couple apps on my iphone. They would just sit and never update so I read online that you could do a reset settings and it would fix the problem. Yesterday I synced my phone and today I went through and did the reset settings. It even said it wouldn't lose content or media. But once I restored it, they were gone. All contacts, apps, notes, etc are there, but over 400 pics and videos are gone. I even had icloud enabled and I thought they were streaming because it's on, but there are no photos or videos there either.

I lost important notes while syncing my iPhone on my MacBook Pro. I have synced before, and know that the notes on my phone migrate to the MacBook Pro. If I want them back on the phone, I had to drag them back to the phone. So I synced notes and there was an option as to whether to keep or delete notes that were synced; I am quite sure that I chose, "keep." Now, I am unable to find those valuable notes on either device. Ouch. Can you help? Is there a backup type of place to recover them?
