I recently had to undate and restore my iphone with the latest software, but wasn't able to back up the phone to my computer before it finished the process. I lost half my picture, notes, music, and a lot of other stuff from my phone. Is there any way i can recover this lost content from my phone?

I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

I upgraded my iPhone to the newest version (5.1.1) I believe. iTunes backed my Phone up and once everything was completed, I restored it but all my stuff got deleted such as Photo's, Apps, Text Messages. Contacts came back after I logged in to my account.

I used to have an iPhone 3GS and upgraded to an iPhone 4S a few months ago. I haven't synced my iPhone in months, and when I connected to the iTunes today, it prompted to upgrade to a newer iOS version. Upon completion of the upgrade/sync, it prompted to name the new iPhone as the old iPhone name. Without thinking twice, I cliced okay. Then I noticed all the photos, videos, new contacts, text messages, calendar, etc. were all gone! The last backup on my old iPhone was October 2011, apparently, I lost all data from October 2011 to now!
Is there any way I can recover the photos, videos, contacts, calendar, etc. on the new iPhone after it's been synced with the last sync dated October 2011?

My iPhone 4s will not back up due to limited space. I have gone through my emails, there were MANY!!! deleted all unnecessary sent, received, trash etc....the last time my phone back up was may 24th. Apperently what's taking up so much space is my last back up. The phone will still not start the process. My question is, if I delete my old back up to make space, will I loose any newly obtained info? Or any old info?

I open the client on Windows 7 and under Manage Content, I click the Add Folder button and select the folders to index. The folders are the Pictures, Music, Videos, and Documents library folders in Windows 7. Content is picked up on the Droid (although I do see some problems with directories that contain a large number of files) but after I reboot the Windows 7 machine and reopen the Zumocast client on Windows 7, the folders are lost and I have to add all of them back again. I tried adding a folder that was not a Windows library type folder and saw the same problem - after a reboot all the folders I specified to index are lost.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAs a business user with a Nokia E52 handset which I have been syncing using PC suite with MS Outlook for all contact details (mobile, land line, fax email details etc) from my laptop I foolishly installed Ovi on my home PC to back up all data from the E52. After backing up to the PC, I was then advised to update E52 firmware which I did, After updating firmware I then went to restore from the back up in Ovi and found that only some of the back up transferred to the hand set for the 600 odd contacts,.
it will not transfer land line/mobile numbers from the back up even though I can see the details in Ovi. In addition I then went to synchronize using PC Suite on the laptop and during the course of syncing lost all the landline/mobile numbers from MS Outlook on the laptop also. I am now in a situation where the only repository of the complete data on my 600 odd contacts is in Ovi on my home PC and I cannot get it to transfer to the E52. This seems to happen only with only with contacts in Public as the contacts in private do not lose phone numbers. Ovi is a piece of junk.

I have a blackberry 8520 I have an old backup file from June 2012 which I restored because it should have the old text messages I want back on my phone the problem is that trying to restore this gave an error message half way through the restore "unable to restore database" after trying this a few times I then updated the Blackberry Desktop Manager to latest version and it now lets me restore the backup file. The problem now is that it does not have the messages that should be there, and also the messages that are in my inbox have an overview as normal but selecting it displays a blank screen with no message history also another issue is that I have the icons on my home screen showing I have a unread sms messages but I am unable to view these in my inbox they are not there. Currently flashing back to stock with the steps given by Heisenberg's step by step guide, number 11, how to flash the factory image.
At the command fastboot flash system C:anglerimagessystem.img and it has sat here for over an hour and a half now with the output of writing 'system'. If I'm not mistaken, my phone is basically bricked at this point, as all I have written to the phone right now is recovery and bootloader really, and since I flashed the stock bootloader that means it is relocked.
Is there any way I can unlock it from here and then flash TWRP again, and then restore one of my backups of my 6P to at least get it working again?
I have a jailbroken/unlocked 3G phone and when I got up this morning i realized that all my contacts were gone. I thought if I was to synch the phone all my contacts may appear.That never happened and thus I lost my contacts. Any solutions I can try? I am using Baseband 05.11.07 and itunes 9.0.1
