After updating to ICS, the album pictures were almost lost. Only a few songs have album pics even though I deleted the songs and replaced them, the pictures just couldn't be shown...

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy mobile is a Nokia N8. I recently updated Phone Apps, I'm not very technical so I followed all prompts asked of me. It advised to restart my phone which I did. When the phone restarted, I lost 3months worth of pictures, my profiles (general, silent etc) were reset but still had messages in my inbox, and god knows what else I haven't noticed yet.I must note also that I received text messages from O2, my service provider. They said, message 1 "you'll receive settings for our phone to allow you to easily access O2's great services". Message 2 "Select Save from Options to configure all settings". I followed these messages. I contacted O2 who advised it was nothing to do with them!!! Not one bit helpful either.

Why does the player does not always display the album art (pictures)? Then correctly shows it does not show them at all. I can not catch a pattern. At first thought when not enough memory, it can not display the albums, but this assumption was not confirmed.

I WILL 100% have all of them back up to GOOGLE as I capture them from now on.
The card has about 130 folders (0 byte each) called " µ " now.
"Music" folder is gone whats so ever (but I have that backed up)
there is no way to only sort by "album name", just a combination of "artist and album name" is accessible under options in the menu. This gives me problem since I have a lot of compilations with various artist names.I remember that it was some similar problems with 5800 XM, but fixed via an s/w release a long time ago...
View 1 Replies View RelatedUpdated to OS 6.0 bundle 2921, the settings on the desktop software were only set to sync date and time. It updated and rebooted, and wiped all my music and most importantly pictures.
The strange thing is that my background wallpaper was one of those pictures and it is still there. Did this update Really wipe everything forever?? It shows total application memory of 250MB and free application memory of 34MB.

I still have the same ringtone and text message alert message. I took out the memory card and put it back in and it's still the same. When I put in the data cable to view online I am getting a checked arrow next to the blackberry and cant access anything.

1. I got an app called rocket player with a lot of music, yet sony music app seems to think there are no songs on my phone.
2. when i open rocket player and select song and state use as ringtone and then check it in setting its still the previous/ original ringtone from the device, i press the top right and again no songs displayed.
3. I have same isue with photos, I have downloaded images from my dropbox saved on to device and sony ablum app will not display any of my photos. Today my mrs sent me a lot of photos through whats app and NONE show in sony ablum. I even created 2 folders in sony album went to file commander and moved some photos into the two folder locations, open sony album and again NOTHING apart from orginal photos either taken by phone camera or screenshots.
I imported all my pictures from my iPhone- I'm now wanting to move the pictures to different albums - then erase the main album that was imported without erasing all the pictures.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated my mini pro yesterday night. Overall response is fast.Camera application is looking weird with limited functions. The 2.3.4 version of camera application shoots better pictures than the updated camera application. Camera window opens and shows up the visuals as if they are zoomed in by default despite not using zoom in feature.I'm disappointed with this update of camera functions.

Until a few days ago I've been able to use the HTC Sync Manger's "Update song information" function (powered by Gracenote) to get the album art. It's been successful for the last ~50 albums however it has not worked for the last 7.
I've tried;
-Repeated attempts to Update song information (I was connected to the internet)
-Restarting my computer
-Uninstalling HTC Sync Manager, then reinstalling the latest version from the HTC website
I just updated my ipone 4s to the newest iOS update and when I click my camera roll album the screen flashes and go back to the home screen

On my computer, every music application utilizes the "Album Artist" tag to group and sort artists. This way, multi-artist compilations with an album artist tag of "Various Artists" don't show up as 12-20 artists per album.Unfortunately, on the Sony Xperia Active, the music player doesn't use the Album Artist to sort artists, so I now have hundreds of "albums" of 1 song each from hundreds of individual artists on compilation albums.

However, the files are still on my Xperia Z3 SD card, and play fine, but I can't trasfer them from there back to my PC... it is weird! I have tried moving them via PC Companion and Media Go, but no luck.Is there any other way of pulling the files back to my PC?
