Dec 1, 2014Before going to sleep I went into the App Store and updated a bunch of apps. When I woke up I noticed all my iMessages and text messages had no names. i have tried to cut off contact from settings>iCloud and turning it back on and I still get nothing. I have also restarted my phone. Under back up it says that the last backup couldn't be completed. This was about 1:48pm est. How to recover them. I'm still using ios7 on an iphone 4s.

Jan 11, 2012My mobile is a Nokia N8. I recently updated Phone Apps, I'm not very technical so I followed all prompts asked of me. It advised to restart my phone which I did. When the phone restarted, I lost 3months worth of pictures, my profiles (general, silent etc) were reset but still had messages in my inbox, and god knows what else I haven't noticed yet.I must note also that I received text messages from O2, my service provider. They said, message 1 "you'll receive settings for our phone to allow you to easily access O2's great services". Message 2 "Select Save from Options to configure all settings". I followed these messages. I contacted O2 who advised it was nothing to do with them!!! Not one bit helpful either.

May 8, 2012I synced my iphone with itunes and now the music on my iphone is there, but only under "songs". The playlist titles are still under "playlists" but the songs are gone. The artists are still listed under "artists", but their albums and songs are gone. All the music is listed under "songs". How do I fix it back to the way it should be? This issue is only on my iphone, itunes on my laptop is normal, playlists are there and full of the songs I put on them.

May 26, 2012I just got my iphone 4s today and synced up and my apps wont open. Ive had this problem on my ipod before and just downloaded an app and redownloaded but it didnt work for my iphone. I tried everything. i went to my local store and they didnt know what to do they tried hard and soft shutting it off. they told me to call apple so i did and they told me to restire my iphone on my itunes and tried resetting all my settings and nothing works. I have all my music set to availible offline, so it is all stored locally on my phone, but the HDMI entertainment app doesn't detect any music, nor does the motoblur music app. I don't really care about the motoblur music app but how can I get my music recognized by the HDMI entertainment system app (is app the right word for the HDMI entertainment interface?), or is there a new app I can get that will recognize the music synced by google music?

Mar 20, 2012My son has an iPhone that he was syncing on his ex-girlfriends PC. He needs to add some birdsong files for school but when I try to sync on my PC it tells me the phone will be erased. I have turned off the sync option for everything except the music and I set that to manual and only the files that are clicked. We don't care if he looses other music. So is the warning message telling me that we might lose other music or will he lose everything else (picture, contacts, aps etc)

Aug 20, 2014iPhone 5S synced to older Mac PowerBook does not receive ringtones or music in iTunes during sync. I've tried numerous times. Do I possibly have a setting wrong? I've checked everything I can think of. iTunes is up-to-date, iPhone software is up-to-date, MacPowerBook is up-to-date and running OSX Version 10.9.4. Music and ringtones are definitely where they should be in iTunes media library.

I know the songs are there because I can see the memory they are using, but they are not available. I tried turning off, deleting and starting from zero, selecting one song, selecting a reproduction list, always the same. My music is stored in a Time-Capsule, but this should not be the problem because I can reproduce it from iTunes...

Mar 14, 2012I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

Before reinstallation I always used sync contact through ovi store but never tried to take backup, but know I am not able to found my lost contact anywhere.
