I'm wondering if I can personalize the light in Z2 so that for example( red for missed calls- blue for missed SMS- green for missed whatsapp message- orange for incomming call.......etc.

And when i click to unlock it vibrates like I had receive a new message but the message could be from 10 or 20 minutes ago. but this just happens sometimes I don't know why.

I found that my screen light sensor (which actually works b4 under different environment lighting) and the LED notification light (it works b4 while I got the missed call or sms) do not work after update to android 2.1... One more is, the screen color gradation seem worst that b4...is it normal?

View 5 Replies View RelatedJust got a brand new Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray yesterday and it all worked fine. Today the LED notification doesn't light up when I receive a message and the screen is locked. I have checked though the service menu that the LED works, and I'm running gingerbread 2.3.4 so the new ICS update shouldn't be the problem. Also the screen doesn't light up when locked and receiving a message but I don't know if it's supposed to do that?

Now it's fine again but I feel a bit uneasy as I never encountered something like this on any Xperia before..
Is in your Z3 it is so dark LED notifications? Is this a bug in LED driver?

Both GravityBox and XBlast tools would let me change the colour, but it would never work. All my notifications were still white. Even when I "previewed" the notification light, it would still be white. I also tried light flow, but only a couple of notification lights would show (those were some of the predefined settings). Are there specific hex values I have to use to get it to work? I really want to get this to work ....

Ive tried plugging the charger in, using the wireless charger, I even had ny husband call my phone and the screen never lit up and the phone never rang. Ive held down the power button, ive held the power and vol up button and still nothing.

Notification light bleeds from nylon caps and i am worried if that will have any adverse effect on waterproofing. I bought Z3 on 9th and i am already on 2nd handset, in first hanset notification light bleed was only small dots on 2 places and in the 2nd handset it covers the enture streach of nylon cap.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOk today my phone was sitting on my desk not being used at all. I hadn't used it in about 30 min before that and battery was at 75%. So i was sitting there and the screen turns on by itself I thought ok phone call or text. I try to unlock the screen I noticed there was no signal bars red x and screen would not unlock it was frozen then about 5 seconds the phone turns off.
Now it will not power on and I have tried 3 known good chargers but the led in the top flashes red. If I press power down button led stays solid red as long as I hold power button on when on charger. If I unplug from charger power button does nothing not even power + down or up volume. I even tried little yellow reset button next to sim card nothing. Is my 4 month old phone shot? The sony companion app on pc does not find phone either this blows.
I was taking a picture with my phone when the entire phone froze, then a few seconds later the screen went black. This struck me as odd, as I'm pretty sure I had charged it over night last night. It is a possibility that the battery went to 0% though. However, ever since the screen went black, I have not been able to do anything with it. When I plug it into a charger (and I've tried several), the LED light endlessly blinks red. I've tried every way possible to reset the phone (removing SIM card, pressing off button near SIM card, holding down power and either of the volume buttons). Tried connecting the phone to both a PC and Mac, but neither recognizes that a device is connected.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy phone was working perfectly alright last night but lost charge so went go charge it as normal from the wall socket but it did not charge at all and not even the red power light showing. Thought I'd give it another go in the morning but no, just the red light on but no power. Now it still has the red power light show up but then after about 30 mins a battery sign shows that is different to the last battery sign that it had before so was wondering if the system has updated automatically???? Turns on but shows main screen for a millisecond and switches straight off saying 0% battery even though its been charging a good while.

Nordic 690 UK 726 3UK 726 PC companion doesn't work. Never happened on KitKat and a factory reset doesn't work either.
Some apps have to option to have different LED Notification light (BBM, Textra, etc) but there's the default green even when you change the colour

I am using this phone from past 1 year and i am so happy with my device that it works so perfectly which i can brag about and i love all the updates from sony and i do update on the very first day.
But today this so shocking first time after today's system update my Notification panel is behaving worst it just scrolls down no matter what i am doing. Even while typing this it just come scrolling down,but while doing other things it is very upsetting.
I even immediately restarted by nothing new.
So it's not always happening, but once in a while the notification led on my G4 decides to pulse for no reason. It's a light blue color, it flashes once every 10, maybe 15 seconds.

I'm happy with the look and feel of Nova, but I noticed that my notification light isn't working for messages.only sms messages are being affected, as the light still comes on when charging/viewing the lockscreen/when Facebook messages come in.I'm currently using Textra as my default app; I tried switching back to LG's message app, but it didn't fix the issue.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I just got the G3 yesterday and finally have it setup. I have noticed though that the notification light does not seem to be functioning. When i receive notifications there is no flashing, regardless of the type of notification. I know the light is not broken because it does flash blue when I knock on the screen, and it also lights red when charging. I downloaded Light Flow to see if I could force the light, but that does not seem to have worked either. I checked to make sure the notification light was set to on under the Display setting page.
