Is there anyway I can set the phone so that screen turns on to notify me of notification. I know the led turns on but the led is so small I miss it. Also the notification sound is low I miss hearing that too unless I double tap the screen to wake it up. Is it possible for the screen to wake up?

I found that my screen light sensor (which actually works b4 under different environment lighting) and the LED notification light (it works b4 while I got the missed call or sms) do not work after update to android 2.1... One more is, the screen color gradation seem worst that b4...is it normal?

Ive tried plugging the charger in, using the wireless charger, I even had ny husband call my phone and the screen never lit up and the phone never rang. Ive held down the power button, ive held the power and vol up button and still nothing.

Just got a brand new Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray yesterday and it all worked fine. Today the LED notification doesn't light up when I receive a message and the screen is locked. I have checked though the service menu that the LED works, and I'm running gingerbread 2.3.4 so the new ICS update shouldn't be the problem. Also the screen doesn't light up when locked and receiving a message but I don't know if it's supposed to do that?

Now it's fine again but I feel a bit uneasy as I never encountered something like this on any Xperia before..
Is in your Z3 it is so dark LED notifications? Is this a bug in LED driver?

when i move the door of the gamepad after about 4 mm of moving it the screen of the phone goes black but the touch is still working but the screen is black and to make the light on i have to push the power button twice as i make the phone off and then on !!. and also if i opened the door and then close it at the samr point the same thing happen i download a fesh software from the sony pc companion but the problem is the same?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got the official 2.3.4 upgrade from the PC companion and am very happy with it. Part of the changes seems to be that I get new message notifications in the middle of my lock screen (meaning I press the power button and my screen goes from blank to the lock screen, and in the middle of that is a notification that says I have "New messages:1" with a envelope icon beside it. I've checked sms, email, whatsapp, skype, handcent, etc etc and I cant find any messages that are new. The notification bar is empty. I've also tried sending myself a message to see if it will clear, but it wont. I'd previously cancelled voice mail on the carrier side too.
