when i move the door of the gamepad after about 4 mm of moving it the screen of the phone goes black but the touch is still working but the screen is black and to make the light on i have to push the power button twice as i make the phone off and then on !!. and also if i opened the door and then close it at the samr point the same thing happen i download a fesh software from the sony pc companion but the problem is the same?

I found that my screen light sensor (which actually works b4 under different environment lighting) and the LED notification light (it works b4 while I got the missed call or sms) do not work after update to android 2.1... One more is, the screen color gradation seem worst that b4...is it normal?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was checking my phone one morning when it asked me to update, after that a message popped up saying that for the next update the phone had to be turned off for about 5 minutes. It never turned on again after that.I already posted a discussion notice about it not turning and the wonderful team member helped me and told me to flash my phone and try the updater. I've done both now and my phone is yet to turn on.I believe the flashing must of done something as now the LED light on the power button flashes red when I hold down it. But it still does not turn on.This has been really frustrating and the problem still continues to go on.Now when I try pc companion update service and hold the back button and connect the phone my PC doesn't recognize the device. Same message pops up if I just plug my phone in normally.

I've just bought an Xperia Play and I'm having trouble using it. I've been charging it for about 5 hours and the only thing that's happening is a flashing red light on the power button. I've tried all the suggestions I've found (such as taking the battery in and out, swapping the SD card etc.) and none of them seem to work. Is there anything else I can try?
View 9 Replies View RelatedA few days ago I stupidly dropped my xperia play in the bath. I let it dry out and place in rice in a sealed container for a few days to dry it out. However when I now power the phone up the camera flash light stays on and will not switch off even going into the camera settings and turning it off. I done the software repair download from the sony website but it hasn't helped.I also purchased a new battery as well. I am guessing it's going to need repaired but I thought I ask on here if anyone has ideas as to what would be causing the problem.

Now let me explain the list of tasks i did in order to get it back to work but invane 1- Tested a new touchpad 2- Software update 3- Software downgrade 4- Deassembling and reassembling
i think i didn't miss anything but still its not responsive. It does sometimes response but if i do restart battery pull, open back case its unresponsive again. According to my knowledge its not a hardware issue as if its hardware and need new one i already tried that its software issue and it seems that entire screen is selected when i try to neviggate through the gaming keys. I am still unable to belive that sony ericsson has still not provided any fix for the issue. If anyone has any idea or any third party software for screen please advise.
My phone ( sony xperia z3 black ) dropped from 1m 60. after that the screen turned black and there wasn't any sound. as soon as i plug it into the charger ( original and working) the massage-light turns red and it stays red until I unplugg the phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedToday as I was listening to the radio (thru an app), i wanted to unblock it and the screen didn't react, I could rise and lower the volume and I tried to plug it to the charger and the light that appears when charging, worked too but the screen kept being black.
I finally decided to press the little red button next to the Sim card and the phone started working fine again, in fact I'm writing from the device, but i wanted to know if I shud worry about this happening (it was the first time ever), or maybe was it because it heated up because I used the radio app too much?( I used it during the morning for like 2,5h and in the afternoon 2h more...
Is there anyway I can set the phone so that screen turns on to notify me of notification. I know the led turns on but the led is so small I miss it. Also the notification sound is low I miss hearing that too unless I double tap the screen to wake it up. Is it possible for the screen to wake up?

It feels random and usually last for 10-30 seconds. I've tried the Sony Ericsson update service, and did a reset, but it didn't help.
