I have the Xperia Z5 compact for 3 days now. Today I was reading an email as suddenly the notification light started blinking red and the phone crashed to immediately start anew.
Now it's fine again but I feel a bit uneasy as I never encountered something like this on any Xperia before..
I having the problem after update my X10 to android 2.1. I found that my screen light sensor (which actually works b4 under different environment lighting) and the LED notification light (it works b4 while I got the missed call or sms) do not work after update to android 2.1... One more is, the screen color gradation seem worst that b4...is it normal?

View 9 Replies View RelatedJust got a brand new Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray yesterday and it all worked fine. Today the LED notification doesn't light up when I receive a message and the screen is locked. I have checked though the service menu that the LED works, and I'm running gingerbread 2.3.4 so the new ICS update shouldn't be the problem. Also the screen doesn't light up when locked and receiving a message but I don't know if it's supposed to do that?

Also the notification sound is low I miss hearing that too unless I double tap the screen to wake it up. Is it possible for the screen to wake up?

Notification light bleeds from nylon caps and i am worried if that will have any adverse effect on waterproofing. I bought Z3 on 9th and i am already on 2nd handset, in first hanset notification light bleed was only small dots on 2 places and in the 2nd handset it covers the enture streach of nylon cap.

My phone is still in warranty but in the official site it is registered as "missing warranty".
So my phone stared shutting itself off. It won't reboot. Instead of turning on, a red light comes on, stays on for a few seconds, and then shuts off. And the cycle repeats. It has been doing it for 8 hours today. It was doing it last night as well, I finally got it to turn on after 3 hours. But today it hasn't. I have tried connecting it to my computer. It says it can't connect because the battery is dead or it is resetting, which both are not true. I have tried pulling the battery numerous times, nothing helps. I took the matter to AT&T. They don't know what is going on either. The phone is about a year and 4 months old and its up to date.

I've got a problem with my Nexus 6. The entire screen is blacked but I've good a flashing green band on the top of my screen when i try to start it. I can hear the notifications going thru my phone but the screen is blacked out. I've tried several times the Power button + Volume down but I can't even access the reboot display.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAs usual, went to look at phone, BSOD, green blinking light. Battery pull, reboot. Don't know why the green light was blinking, there were no new messages, on the phone after the reboot. Ok, now after the reboot I had no data connecetion at all now. Took about 10 minutes, I kept playing with the settings and the data finally came back. It was 4G full bars, go figure. Im in Las Vegas not a new fringe area. I can take any issure or bug with this phone except this one, where the phone goes dead and you never know it. I just don't understand. Their actually gonna make me take it on the chin and go buy a different phone.

But it keeps flashing although I have no messages.The only way to get it to go off is to receive a message, this is bugging me a bit.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I just got the G3 yesterday and finally have it setup. I have noticed though that the notification light does not seem to be functioning. When i receive notifications there is no flashing, regardless of the type of notification. I know the light is not broken because it does flash blue when I knock on the screen, and it also lights red when charging. I downloaded Light Flow to see if I could force the light, but that does not seem to have worked either. I checked to make sure the notification light was set to on under the Display setting page.

I checked sound settings and they are all maxed out after a reboot, but still no sound until the second text message.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't see any notifications anywhere to clear other than the quick toggles I use. I'm thinking those might be the culprit since they're basically just an omnipresent notification, and the light stops blinking for a time once I pull the notification shade down. Having a constant green light going off? Also, whatever it is could be the same thing that's keeping the CPU awake all the time. It doesn't seem to be affecting battery life too much though.
