I have bought my phone Xperia c3 dual 2 months ago.Everything was running smoothly until yesterday.I noticed that my red notification light remains remains on despite having charge over 75%. I have tried reset my phone but nothing changed. As my battery charge is decreasing, the red light fading but still on.

My phone is still in warranty but in the official site it is registered as "missing warranty".
I have woken up this morning to find that my LED (red) is always on.I had a text come through and the green LED was flashing (so it looked like the red and green were alternating).I checked for water damage, fully charged the battery, restored / backup the phone and still the red light remains on all of the time.I checked the forums but found nothing on this ... any ideas?I would take it into phones4u, but last time this happened it took 3 weeks to simply replace the USB (had charging issues
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've had my 6p for a while and running cataclysm since day 1 so I don't remember about this. But, does the LED light stay lit when charging on a stock 6p? My brother just got his in today and it's dark so I'm just curious if it's an issue or that's just how it is stock. If it's normal I'm gonna have him use lightflow to activate so that's not a problem.

I found that my screen light sensor (which actually works b4 under different environment lighting) and the LED notification light (it works b4 while I got the missed call or sms) do not work after update to android 2.1... A little sound indicated that the phone was fully charge after two hours, the screen was indicating that the battery was fully charged. Removed the plug from the outlet, to my suprise...the screen remained lit up, still indicating that the battery was full. I waited for several minutes, it was still the same. So i turned it on. Then i turned it off again, put it on charge again and the poblem was the same!

Ihave tried re-setting it many times, tried different charging ports, left it to drain all battery then charge and unsure if there's anything else I can try.

its only blinking red light when i connect to charger or USB.
Just got a brand new Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray yesterday and it all worked fine. Today the LED notification doesn't light up when I receive a message and the screen is locked. I have checked though the service menu that the LED works, and I'm running gingerbread 2.3.4 so the new ICS update shouldn't be the problem. Also the screen doesn't light up when locked and receiving a message but I don't know if it's supposed to do that?

Now it's fine again but I feel a bit uneasy as I never encountered something like this on any Xperia before..
Is in your Z3 it is so dark LED notifications? Is this a bug in LED driver?

Notification light bleeds from nylon caps and i am worried if that will have any adverse effect on waterproofing. I bought Z3 on 9th and i am already on 2nd handset, in first hanset notification light bleed was only small dots on 2 places and in the 2nd handset it covers the enture streach of nylon cap.

They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....

When I plug it in the red notification light blinks for a while, then the charging logo appears on the screen for a short time and during that time red is light constantly lid, as it was supposed to, however then the screen goes black again and the light starts blinking.
I found a solution on YouTube which suggested me to tape power button firmly so it's always pushed and then charge it for an hour. I did exactly the same thing, nothing changed.
It's been more than 2 hours and my phone is still charging with the same cycle (blinking red light, then charging logo, then blinking again). I wonder what happened to my phone and what can I do now?
I realized that with using charging dock I can see a glimpse of Xperia and Sony logo but then they vanish. The phone seems to be restarting itself while I use the dock.
