Xperia Z2 :: Went Dead No Light / No Sign Of Charging
Nov 7, 2014
I have an xperia z2 it was working fine and suddenly it went dead no sign of charging no light nothing i tried every trick on the net " run + volume " anything I found I've already try it but nothing i changed the motherboard and still nothing i went to a repair store and after 2 weeks it's on but only for 2days and went dead again.
Solid red light, I found this in my closet and want to use as a back up phone. The battery has a red strip across in the small sticker .<br>I don't have wall charger just USB. When I plug in to computer with battery or without it just stays solid red . I don't have desktop manager btw.
I was having some issues with my 9900, mainly the touch screen wasn't working. Since I couldn't really use the phone, I left if for a week and know it will not charge.. The phone's red light will not turn on when plugging in and another battery did not work. When you plug it in, the battery charging indicator in the middle of the screen will comeoup showing charging, but after 2 mins the icon disappears and the screen goes black. I have also tried connecting it withhout the battery to the desk top manager to update the software, but it says it cannot connect to device .
My blackberry 9810 is dead and no red light shown while charging. I have removed the battery and re inserted it severally but still not coming up. Though, the phone is about 6month old.
Ok today my phone was sitting on my desk not being used at all. I hadn't used it in about 30 min before that and battery was at 75%. So i was sitting there and the screen turns on by itself I thought ok phone call or text. I try to unlock the screen I noticed there was no signal bars red x and screen would not unlock it was frozen then about 5 seconds the phone turns off.
Now it will not power on and I have tried 3 known good chargers but the led in the top flashes red. If I press power down button led stays solid red as long as I hold power button on when on charger. If I unplug from charger power button does nothing not even power + down or up volume. I even tried little yellow reset button next to sim card nothing. Is my 4 month old phone shot? The sony companion app on pc does not find phone either this blows.
Alright where can I start... 3,5 weeks ago my X10i gave an android.error and quit... didn't start again and I got the red light flashing. Called t-mobile and send my phone for repairing. Last tuesday I got my X10i back. "part replaced" was the message. It functioned again, acted a bit strange as usual but it functioned. Yesterday I went home from work and I put my X10i in my pocket. When I got home I took the phone out of my pocket and noticed it was turned off... nothing weird because almost everytime I put it in my pocket I have to enter my sim-code when I get it out............ or it is turned off.... But this time it wouldn't turn on.
So i loved this phone until i let it charge overnight on my desk to wake up to it BURNING HOT but the screen will not turn on. my morning alarm clock is going off but i can't turn it off either -.- the LED light is solid orange but the screen is completely dead. i tried pressing the red reset button and ive tried connecting it to the PC companion but it can't repair it.
I was on my last day of holiday fone was fully charged and working fine after a.new software update i was out for lunch fone still working and by 4pm its was off with no signs of life plugged it in to charge and still nothing. I flew home with the phone in my suitcase and when i got home i put it on charge and it had a red flashing light so i left it because its the most amount of life i had seen from it.
When I woke 3-4 hours later the screen powered on with the. Charging sign visible and charging i left it like that untill it was 100% and powered it on it worked for around 20 mins and same again died with no sign of life. For the last 24 hours ot has been on charge and only seem to get a flashing red light or a slow flashing light(when attached to.a comp, still didnt connect to pc companion). I have all hols photos videos on it that I haven't backed up yet and all contacts are stored on phone ...
It will not charge when on, it LOOKS like its charging when its off with the red light on, but when switched on, it only has 1% battery - not actually charging. Ihave tried re-setting it many times, tried different charging ports, left it to drain all battery then charge and unsure if there's anything else I can try.
I have bought my phone Xperia c3 dual 2 months ago.Everything was running smoothly until yesterday.I noticed that my red notification light remains remains on despite having charge over 75%. I have tried reset my phone but nothing changed. As my battery charge is decreasing, the red light fading but still on.
This is satish , I purchased sony Neo L in August last week.till now its working perfect,
day before yesterday i was travelling and its battery got fully discharged. after that its not powering up ,
I tried to contact Sony xperia support via call and they asked me to Start my phone in safe mode but it was also not working. till yesterday it was vibrating and nothing was coming on display, but now even its not viberating,
its only blinking red light when i connect to charger or USB.
My phone is totally dead, i cant do anything power button + volume up button , force restart button near the sim , and nothing happens , also when i connect to a usb charger the red light is blinking all the time. I need my xperia z2 back to live....
my x10 backlight keeps coming on every minute when charging. I've noticed it happens when the battery is charged at 99%. The backlight will go out and come back on in exactly one minute. Wi-Fi,Bluetooth, GPS, Sync, everything is off.
My phone has been off for the past 5 days and wen i switched it on this morning it would not switch on. I've removed the battery, put it back in and it still wont switch on. All it show is a dead battery sign. I've been charging it for the past 4 hours and it still shows the same sign. A red flashing light keeps goin on and off and i dont know what that indicates. Do i need a new battery or the phone has a fault?
My z2 doesn't charge anymore because after connecting every kind of charger (usb cable or docking station) the led light starts blinking and the notification of "charging battery" appears and disappears. What should I do?
My phone is still in warranty but in the official site it is registered as "missing warranty".
I have both the DT-900 wireless charging plate and the DT-901 wireless charging stand. They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.
I plugged my bb into the wall and for a little bit it was charging fine but then the symbol disappeared. I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....
the red charging light that comes on when charging phone has now started to stay on even when not charging and the phone heats up when using it and battery seems to be draining fast im to scared to charge phone up incase i fry it.
My 2 month old phone wont turn on and only a red led light flashes. I tried downloading new software but it wont recognize it. Im abroad now but would like to know where can I take my phone in the states so I can get a replacement.
I have a torch 9800 and i woke up and it looked like it had just died but the red light was on so it obviously isnt dead, ive tried upgrading the software but keep getting error msgsi dont know whats going on but
A few days ago my phone stopped working. It wouldn't switch on, there was no red light, but e battery worked in friends phone so that isn't the problem. All I want is for the phone to switch on, even if it has no contacts etc and is just like it when you get it for the first time.
I have the torch 9810 the phone just died. It wont turn on, the red light wont turn on nothing I left it in the charger for a little while and nothing. Is there anything that I can do or is the phone dead?
I was using my blackberry tour 9630 over two years and never had a problem. A couple of days ago I've connected phone to computer, check software update (it says your software up to date) recharged the phone and put it on the desk. Oddly enough it starts blinking like I have message, but phone did not turn on or off it just stop responding. The screen is black and when connected to computer through USB it's not recognized. Weather connected to electrical outlet or usb to computer it Flash red signal 10111 - one red , pause and three red. I've tried pulling out batteries, card, keep it for 24 hours without battery, nothing. Neither laptop nor pc recognise blackberry device. Bell offered "to take a look at it for about " 100 -150 $ without warranty that it will be repaired and I have only 6 month left on my 3 years contract. I've brought the phone to local wireless store and they try to flash OS through loader software without any success. I have two blackberries on my account, was happy with the phones, but now feel like smashing both of them. I don't know if I more mad at "Bell" who told me "product has 1 year warranty and now you are screwed" or at Research in Motion for their blackberries for which I've paid 400 $ upfront and 3 years contract (supposedly device cost over 600 $)
My 9000 was ok this morning then i charged it .After a few hours when charging , my phone is dead.i mean it was charging when i first put device on the charger, there was no problem, few hours later i looked at the phone if the battery is full,it's dead, no red light ,nothing .i tried connect it to computer and connect it to charger nothing happens. Now i'm charging the battery with an external charger. After then i'll try to put it back to 9000.
Yesterday I was waiting for an important call but needed a shower so I took my phone into the bathroom and put it in a dry safe place where I would hear it ring if need be. It did so I quickly jumped out of the shower, dried hands and answered a message. Few minutes later when back at my desk at home I realized the bold was behaving weird, key presses were not doing the right function, i.e. a press of the back key brought up jk or other letters on the screen etc.
It did not sustain water damage, at worst my hands were merely damp when used so I just figured pop it down for a while and let it 'dry' (it wasn't wet but you know what I mean, its all I could think of) picked it up maybe 15 minutes later and it appeared to have died. Now, its 15 months old (and was a refurbished handset direct from 02 when I got it so its had a hard life) its been bumped, and not long after I got it I broke the screen (LCD bleed) so I had it repaired which forfeited the warranty, also the trackball has been a constant nightmare to me, it stops working in one or more direction regularly.
I've found the solution to this to be to clean the trackball gently with a q-tip dipped in clear alcohol, after some time this usually works, but a couple of months ago I could not get this to work at all so after 2 weeks of a phone that would not scroll left I had the trackball replaced. I now had issues with the trackball not selecting when I push down but this is got around by using the return key or it does sometimes work if you push hard. So, with this new flashing red light failure I took it back to the place that replaced the screen. They kept it for 24 hours and when I went back to collect it they said it was a component failure and beyond economic repair.
Quite truthfully though I got the impression that they actually just couldn't be bothered as it was a hard job. Came home and started researching, other posts I have read lead me to believe that if the LED comes on in any way all is not lost. My computer does not recognize the phone when I try and connect it via USB, although just now I tried again and windows acknowledged that a device had just been plugged in, but the blackberry software still did not detect anything. What can I try now? I am not tech savvy so it will need to be clearly laid out for idiots.
my 8520 stopped working around a month and a half ago maybe a little longer, it wouldnt charge when plugged into the charger, i tried a veriety of different things to see if it worked but nothing did, i have now bought a new battery for my 8520, before putting the new battery in, i decided to try and turn my phone on with my old battery in it, but had no luck. so i took my old battery out and placed my new one in and the red light came on in the top right corner, it then came up with a charging sign on the screen then a red cross appeared ontop of it, a loading bar then came on underneath it and it grew longer very slowly, so i thought i'd leave it to see if it needed time to charge and load, when i came ack to have a look at it after about 15 mins it looked exactly the same so i then tried turning my phone on/off bye pressing the red end call button, when i did that the battery with the red cross through went off the screen and then the word 'blackberry' in white writing appeared as if it was then being switeched on and then the little loading sign came on underneath, shortly after that it just went back
I've been loving the Lumia 800 since I got it bar a few problems getting it turn on, but this one takes the cake. Last night I was using my phone before I went to sleep and the battery died so I put it to one side. This morning I go to charge the phone and I'm getting very very little response from the phone. Once I plug the charger in the phone vibrates twice, although the second time it appears to be getting 'cut off.' At no point is anything visible on the screen.
Tried to use the laptop and I get the USB connection sound from my PC, however it then plays the 'removed USB device' sound and there's no indication the phone's connected.
The only technique that gets any kind of response is the 'soft reset', holding the power button and bottom volume button for 10 seconds which gets my carrier's logo up on screen before it quickly dies.
As this is my only phone I'm getting rather stressed about this. I really do need my phone in the week. Would you guys suggest I take it to one of my carrier's shop or try and go through Nokia themselves?
So dissapointed because it's my favourite phone I've ever owned, and now it's useless and causing me a lot of undue stress.
