Charging Sign Is On But IPhone Won't Charge
Jun 27, 2014When I blog it the charging sign is on but it won't charge! and now it's off and I can't even connect it with the itunes. I'll lose all my data!!

Apr 18, 2012I bought my iphone 4S a few day ago. At the beginning it worked fine, today i plugged it in and the charging sign appeared. A few hours later i came back and it was still in red! like i had 20% of battery left. I tried using various chargers (wall, car, and for macbook itself) and it still won't charge. It's like it's stuck. I restored it a few times with iTunes but it still won't work.

Feb 26, 2014I have both the DT-900 wireless charging plate and the DT-901 wireless charging stand. They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.

Aug 22, 2012my 8520 stopped working around a month and a half ago maybe a little longer, it wouldnt charge when plugged into the charger, i tried a veriety of different things to see if it worked but nothing did, i have now bought a new battery for my 8520, before putting the new battery in, i decided to try and turn my phone on with my old battery in it, but had no luck. so i took my old battery out and placed my new one in and the red light came on in the top right corner, it then came up with a charging sign on the screen then a red cross appeared ontop of it, a loading bar then came on underneath it and it grew longer very slowly, so i thought i'd leave it to see if it needed time to charge and load, when i came ack to have a look at it after about 15 mins it looked exactly the same so i then tried turning my phone on/off bye pressing the red end call button, when i did that the battery with the red cross through went off the screen and then the word 'blackberry' in white writing appeared as if it was then being switeched on and then the little loading sign came on underneath, shortly after that it just went back

Oct 4, 2015I was on my last day of holiday fone was fully charged and working fine after a.new software update i was out for lunch fone still working and by 4pm its was off with no signs of life plugged it in to charge and still nothing. I flew home with the phone in my suitcase and when i got home i put it on charge and it had a red flashing light so i left it because its the most amount of life i had seen from it.
When I woke 3-4 hours later the screen powered on with the. Charging sign visible and charging i left it like that untill it was 100% and powered it on it worked for around 20 mins and same again died with no sign of life. For the last 24 hours ot has been on charge and only seem to get a flashing red light or a slow flashing light(when attached to.a comp, still didnt connect to pc companion). I have all hols photos videos on it that I haven't backed up yet and all contacts are stored on phone ...
Google Nexus 5 :: Battery 0 Now Won't Turn On And No Charging Sign
Nov 2, 2015I have google nexus 5 32gb and recently i my phone has started behaving very weird. My phone batter died and it switched off and after a few moments when i reached home i plugged in a charger and my phone wont show me charging sign nor it will turn up so i left it on charge for a couple of hours and returned to try the same switching on method and still it wont turn on. So started googling this problem and i came across a forum where it showed me to hard booth by pressing the volume down and power button.
Magically it did not work for me so i made an appoint to go and see LG Service Store and suddenly my phone turned on so i thought the problem was solved untill it happened again and again and again so now if my phone switches off i am not very sure if it would turn back on. As this is a very random problem and i am unable to solve it while the phone is on and if i charge it before the battery reaches the critical levels and shuts on its own i am just fine.
What can be the issue as battery works the whole day of medium to low use and also other hardware happens to function well without any hanging complaints. Also my phone randomly switches off if i am playing some game as it gets heated and the same story of phone not booting.

Sep 12, 2011I bought one of the awesome looking charging pods for my 9930-- but it doesn't charge my phone. The battery icon indicates that it is charging when I place the phone in the pod and the pod will activate bedside mode (when I have that function activated), but I have left it over night and the battery does not charge.

Jul 17, 2015I bought a Z5C for my wife, but I am withholding it fo test purposes because I own a Z3c... As per title, if I use it while charging the battery's charge drops or, at best, doesn't improve.
I had already:
-Tried more usb cables, including those one which came along our phones.
-Tried more chargers: my usual z3c charger, my MacBook Pro, my iPad's charger, a no-name wall charger rated for 1Ampere;
-Repaired with bridge for Mac;
-Restored to factory defaults, effect of which turned out to be more or less like "Repair" procedure;
I don't' have strange applications running, I don't play games, mail synchronization is manual. It's like my phones are on perpetual holidays.
More over: I used it just to surf the web and take a dozen of shot with the camera set at 8MP, so nothing really challenging. The phones back heats but not really that much.

May 9, 2011I have had my X6 16GB for just over a year on a contract with O2, now I've not really had any problems with it, few bugs etc but nothing major. Recently out of the blue however it's decided it doesn't want to charge, the phone will show the charging indicator when the charger is plugged in however it will not charge the battery, then the battery will completely drain and I can no longer power the phone on.
The phone has a 2 year warranty and has just under a year left so it was sent back to O2 who have just said it is "Beyond economical repair" and sent me a broken phone back which is no use to me at all. I've had Nokia's for as long as I can remember but I'm not really quite sure what I'm to do with this one as at the moment it's a useless paper weight.

Jul 26, 2015This annoying issue just started in the last few days. I use wireless charging almost exclusively including in the car. Once the phone is completely charged it cycles between charging and not charging. Every time it starts charging again it wakes the screen up and does the charging started notification which means a I get a notification sound about every minute or so.

Dec 12, 2011i have collected probably 15 different chargers the last couple of years that I use at various locations to charge my Blackberry, iPhone, and a couple of Samsung Google Nexus Phones. That is every device other than the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the Torch before that. I get the familiar message "the charging source connected to your blackberry device cannot charge your battery", except when connected to RIM manufactured charger or fortunately the USB port on my laptop. How in the world can every phone other than RIM's Blackberry take a charge from the various power sources without problem. I had the problem to some degree on the Torch, but figured RIM would catch on and get it fixed. Now I have the new Bold 9900 and it does not even work on my trusted 12V car charger. If 4 or 5 different devices work with multiple chargers and the Bold 9900 does not work on any it has to be a RIM and BLACKBERRY problem.Maybe the guys in Waterloo are just totally insulated from the rest of the world and only own BlackBerry phones with Blackberry chargers and believe there is not a problem. At least it appear that way with this charger issue and several other issues, but I won't get deeper into that here?

Everything was working fine up until Saturday, charging 1 minute then the next nothing, tried wall charger, car charger and also through the computer...nothing . The lightning icon is there but the battery level does not increase.I cant downgrade the OS since the computer doesnot recognize the device, I constantly get an error message. "Usb device has malfunctioned."

Dec 4, 2015As of this morning, my phone no longer charges using the supplied Samsung charger. Additionally, when I UNPLUG the cable from my computer or the wall, I receive a notification saying "The dock is connected" which is obviously odd as I have actually just disconnected the cabling. Along with this message, the docking audible is heard when plugging in the charger on either the computer or the wall.
When I plug into my computer, the phone is no longer recognized as a USB device either which makes it difficult to back anything up at this point.
I do not have the lighting bolt or any blinking LED's while the charging cable is plugged in.
So far I have done the following to troubleshoot
- tried different cable on both the computer and wall
- power cycled the phone multiple times
- checked for system updates. I am up to date.
- cleaned / blown out the charging port
- cleared system cache
I have not yet done a factory reset for obvious (last resort) reasons.
Nokia :: OVI Sign In Or Sign Up Error Message
Feb 19, 2010My wife accidently going through her contacts went to the very top where there's a drop down menu for Phone or Contacts. It went to Contacts. Now whenever she goes to her contacts a message pops up saying Sign In or Sign Up to OVI. She's been on the phone now with Nokia for 2 hours trying to resolve.Anyone out there have any ideas?
And by the way, are other brands of phones this bad, what with setting up loops like this can't be broken. Or, like what I've read here and elsewhere, all the problems with the Lock Code? I mean, it seems Nokia needs to go back to the drawing board and work on their user interface.
