Brand new iPhone 5S. My battery drained all the way down for the first time. It will now not charge at all. This cant be a battery issue. Can it? I seriously doubt its an issue of USB.

My iphone 4 battery does not seem to be fully charged. I charged it for whole night, but it stops at about 67%.Will it be solved after replacing the battery? Or could it be other problem?

I left my iPhone 5s to fully discharge last night. Today I have come to charge it up and it wont boot up past the Apple logo and charge up. It appears to keep throwing itself back to thinking the charger is repeatedly being plugged in. The phone was working perfectly before I went to bed.Â
I use original leads, have cleaned the connection port, tried another lead but no luck. I have held both buttons down etc but nothing will get the phone working and as I cannot get into ISO I can not do a restore.Â

I have an iPhone 5s running iOS 7.1.2Â
After fully charging it yesterday, the battery icon in the top right hand corner is now white… I'm pretty sure it used to be green.Â

I just got my iphone 6 plus (ios 8.0.2) yesterday and start to charge on 11pm until the next day morning 7am. But i found that the battery was 100% but never go to fully charged. Then i just leave it there for another 2 more hours to charge. But the result remain the same (battery 100% with the little lightning bolt symbol beside it). May i know is it some hardware problem or anything else i need to do to make it 100% fully charged? I've off the wifi as well as the cellular too.Â

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the battery dock on launch day.this morning I realized the battery issues I've been having are due to the dock not fully charging any of the batteries I have put into it! The dock charges them to 90% most of the time--even if they are in the charger for over 9 hours. I just discovered this problem this morning after removing an extended battery after 9 hours of charge, to find it only at 90%. I had the same issue the first day I bought the extended battery and had to complete the charge inside the phone. I also had been having trouble getting the standard batteries fully charged.
I'm going to exchange it at Verizon this morning, but I'm wondering if a new one will be any better.I use a Battery Indicator widget which shows the voltage--that helps me determine precisely how much charge is in each battery. The battery dock barely gets the batteries charged up to 4.1 volts, and sometimes less.they should be charged more than that, along with showing "100%" on the phone's status, of course.
I bought a Z5C for my wife, but I am withholding it fo test purposes because I own a Z3c... As per title, if I use it while charging the battery's charge drops or, at best, doesn't improve.
I had already:
-Tried more usb cables, including those one which came along our phones.
-Tried more chargers: my usual z3c charger, my MacBook Pro, my iPad's charger, a no-name wall charger rated for 1Ampere;
-Repaired with bridge for Mac;
-Restored to factory defaults, effect of which turned out to be more or less like "Repair" procedure;Â
I don't' have strange applications running, I don't play games, mail synchronization is manual. It's like my phones are on perpetual holidays.

More over: I used it just to surf the web and take a dozen of shot with the camera set at 8MP, so nothing really challenging. The phones back heats but not really that much.
I have had my X6 16GB for just over a year on a contract with O2, now I've not really had any problems with it, few bugs etc but nothing major. Recently out of the blue however it's decided it doesn't want to charge, the phone will show the charging indicator when the charger is plugged in however it will not charge the battery, then the battery will completely drain and I can no longer power the phone on.
The phone has a 2 year warranty and has just under a year left so it was sent back to O2 who have just said it is "Beyond economical repair" and sent me a broken phone back which is no use to me at all. I've had Nokia's for as long as I can remember but I'm not really quite sure what I'm to do with this one as at the moment it's a useless paper weight.
i have collected probably 15 different chargers the last couple of years that I use at various locations to charge my Blackberry, iPhone, and a couple of Samsung Google Nexus Phones. That is every device other than the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the Torch before that. I get the familiar message "the charging source connected to your blackberry device cannot charge your battery", except when connected to RIM manufactured charger or fortunately the USB port on my laptop. How in the world can every phone other than RIM's Blackberry take a charge from the various power sources without problem. I had the problem to some degree on the Torch, but figured RIM would catch on and get it fixed. Now I have the new Bold 9900 and it does not even work on my trusted 12V car charger. If 4 or 5 different devices work with multiple chargers and the Bold 9900 does not work on any it has to be a RIM and BLACKBERRY problem.Maybe the guys in Waterloo are just totally insulated from the rest of the world and only own BlackBerry phones with Blackberry chargers and believe there is not a problem. At least it appear that way with this charger issue and several other issues, but I won't get deeper into that here?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI updated my Bold 9700 OS to 5.0.0.862 about 2 weeks ago. Everything was working fine up until Saturday, charging 1 minute then the next nothing, tried wall charger, car charger and also through the computer...nothing . This is the message the phone displays "The charging source connected to your Blackberry device cannot charge your battery."
The lightning icon is there but the battery level does not increase.I cant downgrade the OS since the computer doesnot recognize the device, I constantly get an error message. "Usb device has malfunctioned."

View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought my iphone 4S a few day ago. At the beginning it worked fine, today i plugged it in and the charging sign appeared. A few hours later i came back and it was still in red! like i had 20% of battery left. I tried using various chargers (wall, car, and for macbook itself) and it still won't charge. It's like it's stuck. I restored it a few times with iTunes but it still won't work.

I know with older devices it was really important to give it a full load before using it. However I've heard that we use different batteries now which don't need it. Is there a general consensus on whats the best move?

I think that USB charging is really slow. Yesterday, it took more than 6 hours to fully charge my HTC One. Charging via A/C is much faster, but I wouldn't expect that big difference.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI just bought my Xperia Ray last weekend, so it has not been a week yet. I have no issues about its performance. This is my first Android phone, so I am wondering about this. How long should it take to fully charge my phone? When I connect it to its socket charger, it only takes an hour or so. Likewise, through my computer, it only takes an hour. Is that normal, or should I be worried about it?

I am currently using ip4, iOS5.1. The problem I am having now is when my phone is fully charged, it just can't last long. I left my phone idle and without using it, it will automatically turned off. When I turned it on, the battery shown a value (example: 16 %), after a while, it shows higher battery life value (example: 32%). Then after some time, it automatically turned off again. Is this battery problem or software problem?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have both the DT-900 wireless charging plate and the DT-901 wireless charging stand. They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen charging my phone (xperia x10 mini), the screen remains off while charging, but when battery is 100% charged the screen turns on, and it remains on until you disconnect the phone from the charger, like telling you "I'm already charged".
Now I can't charge my phone overnight, or I have to put something covering it, so the light doesn't bother me while sleeping.
And of course, I think the screen light will eventually break if it's switched on so many hours every day. Have you noted this or it's an issue with only my phone?

I got my new iphone 4s two days ago and I took my phone off charge this morning at 7.45 and already at 12 its down to 60%. I have turned off location settings, reduced the brightness, turned of push and notifications. And as I whatapp I can literally watch the battery go down. Should I take it to have it looked at, or is that normal apple battery standard?
