I know with older devices it was really important to give it a full load before using it. However I've heard that we use different batteries now which don't need it. Is there a general consensus on whats the best move?

Since last 4 days my BB curve 9380 shutdown frequently. In between any phone call or using any application, this problem occurs. A red light links and it gets off. override I have to restart the phone. Many times it again shutdown within minutes of restarting the same. I have then installed new operating system 7 also but still the problem persists. I am thinking to buy new one and switch to Apple or Samsung?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI left my iPhone 5s to fully discharge last night. Today I have come to charge it up and it wont boot up past the Apple logo and charge up. It appears to keep throwing itself back to thinking the charger is repeatedly being plugged in. The phone was working perfectly before I went to bed.Â
I use original leads, have cleaned the connection port, tried another lead but no luck. I have held both buttons down etc but nothing will get the phone working and as I cannot get into ISO I can not do a restore.Â

I just got my iphone 6 plus (ios 8.0.2) yesterday and start to charge on 11pm until the next day morning 7am. But i found that the battery was 100% but never go to fully charged. Then i just leave it there for another 2 more hours to charge. But the result remain the same (battery 100% with the little lightning bolt symbol beside it). May i know is it some hardware problem or anything else i need to do to make it 100% fully charged? I've off the wifi as well as the cellular too.Â

I try to shut down the phone to charge it but it keeps re-starting itself. I plug it in, power the phone down and it restarts. Same when I plug it in when it is already off. Is this normal?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI've read the initial charge just needs make the charging indicator turn green as the current is switched off by the phone then. Part way through the first charge I identically turned it on, I shut it down straight away, will this cause a problem with the battery capacity? I've read it should be a constant charge or are battries these days much more robust?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI think that USB charging is really slow. Yesterday, it took more than 6 hours to fully charge my HTC One. Charging via A/C is much faster, but I wouldn't expect that big difference.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI just bought my Xperia Ray last weekend, so it has not been a week yet. I have no issues about its performance. This is my first Android phone, so I am wondering about this. How long should it take to fully charge my phone? When I connect it to its socket charger, it only takes an hour or so. Likewise, through my computer, it only takes an hour. Is that normal, or should I be worried about it?
View 2 Replies View Relatedis it a charger problem or anyother problem?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I plug it the LED becomes red and it is charging. But today, after 8 hours, it had only charged 10%. And not only that, it became a bit hotter than usual! What is going on?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen charging my phone (xperia x10 mini), the screen remains off while charging, but when battery is 100% charged the screen turns on, and it remains on until you disconnect the phone from the charger, like telling you "I'm already charged".
Now I can't charge my phone overnight, or I have to put something covering it, so the light doesn't bother me while sleeping.
And of course, I think the screen light will eventually break if it's switched on so many hours every day. Have you noted this or it's an issue with only my phone?

- rest factory

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a usb car charger with a cable that has a usb plug on one end, and on the other end there is a nokia 2.0mm charger plug. like this one: [URL] But the problem is that it's not fully charge my Nokia 5800, only about 85%-90%. Could this charger can fully charge a nokia 5800? on the charger itself it's written "DC 5V +- 5% Max= 1000mA"
View 2 Replies View RelatedIf the phone is connected to a charger (the car charger in my case) and power is interrupted to that connection for more than a couple of seconds, the phone will not go back on charge unless the USB plug is removed from the phone and re-inserted WITH power already on the plug. Similarly, one cannot plug in the charger to the phone and then plug the charger into the car outlet - phone does not start charging.
