With both the charger and the USB charging, the screen shows charging, the battery meter runs as if charging, but even after an hour of charging, the charge remains the same and immediately shows low battery
View 2 RepliesOnce again my charging problems are back! It must be my battery because I have done a batttery pull and still its not charging properly! It shows the charging signal as tho it is charger but the battery never moves I have never seen anything like this! Looks like I'm goin to have to buy a whole new battery.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 8900 and it does not charge past 2 bars it shows it chargin but doesn't move past 2 bars I wiped hanheld deleted all apps and a tmobile rep had send me a "updated" O.S through email to reinstall which was the same sh*t I had by the way 4.6.1.231 and I did it and still won't charge past 2 bars anyone have this problem I was told it was a phone issue and not battery but I don't want to buy another battyer till I get a reasonable answer what you guys think anyone have this happen?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had my X6 16GB for just over a year on a contract with O2, now I've not really had any problems with it, few bugs etc but nothing major. Recently out of the blue however it's decided it doesn't want to charge, the phone will show the charging indicator when the charger is plugged in however it will not charge the battery, then the battery will completely drain and I can no longer power the phone on.
The phone has a 2 year warranty and has just under a year left so it was sent back to O2 who have just said it is "Beyond economical repair" and sent me a broken phone back which is no use to me at all. I've had Nokia's for as long as I can remember but I'm not really quite sure what I'm to do with this one as at the moment it's a useless paper weight.
As of this morning, my phone no longer charges using the supplied Samsung charger. Additionally, when I UNPLUG the cable from my computer or the wall, I receive a notification saying "The dock is connected" which is obviously odd as I have actually just disconnected the cabling. Along with this message, the docking audible is heard when plugging in the charger on either the computer or the wall.
When I plug into my computer, the phone is no longer recognized as a USB device either which makes it difficult to back anything up at this point.
I do not have the lighting bolt or any blinking LED's while the charging cable is plugged in.
So far I have done the following to troubleshoot
- tried different cable on both the computer and wall
- power cycled the phone multiple times
- checked for system updates. I am up to date.
- cleaned / blown out the charging port
- cleared system cache
I have not yet done a factory reset for obvious (last resort) reasons.
I bought my lumia 920 yesterday and while it charges in my car with an USB charging adapter it doesn't so with the delivered ac charger! The curios thing is, my old lumia 900 gets charged with the same one... What can i do?

Originally i thought this was a faulty handset. However it might simply be a battery saver gimmick wherby the phone has to be charged for a longer period of time before it can turn on or show any sign of life, after being fully drained

After few hours the battery is completely discharged and mobile is not getting switched on without direct power supply. They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.

However, lately whenever I plug it in, it charges and then it stops and says "Unplug charger from power supply to save energy" and then it says "Not Charging" and then it charges again and then it doesn't. The light near the charging slot always turn on and off multiple times. I have to play around with the charger and plug it in and out multiple times to get it to work. When it finally starts to charge, it takes extremely long to charge. It used to charge quick but now it take hours. Also, if it is charging, and I accidently touch the phone or the cord, it will immediately stop charging. Then I have to play around with the cord again so it will charge.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI was able to charge my lumia 900 with my car (Toyota Prius 2010) USB until the latest firmware upgrade. Only catch was to use original cable came along with phone. It didn't accept any other micro USB cables. But after the latest update even the original cable doesn't work! All the cables works well to charge the phone when connected to laptop. I am having hard time using it as i frequently travel.Ideally i should be able to charge with any micro USB cable in the car. Could you guys suggest any workarounds or fixes?Not to mention my iPhone was perfect in USB recharge though it is a slow recharge.

My Blackberry Bold shows the small letters CM over the battery icon when the charger is connected but it will not charge. I've tried removing the battery putting it back in, I've tried 3 chargers, but the battery just continued to drain until it finally went into red. I've been "googling" all day and cannot find any reference to what I'm seeing.
