A few days ago my phone stopped working. It wouldn't switch on, there was no red light, but e battery worked in friends phone so that isn't the problem. All I want is for the phone to switch on, even if it has no contacts etc and is just like it when you get it for the first time.
View 1 RepliesAlright where can I start... 3,5 weeks ago my X10i gave an android.error and quit... didn't start again and I got the red light flashing. Called t-mobile and send my phone for repairing. Last tuesday I got my X10i back. "part replaced" was the message. It functioned again, acted a bit strange as usual but it functioned. Yesterday I went home from work and I put my X10i in my pocket. When I got home I took the phone out of my pocket and noticed it was turned off... nothing weird because almost everytime I put it in my pocket I have to enter my sim-code when I get it out............ or it is turned off.... But this time it wouldn't turn on.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOk today my phone was sitting on my desk not being used at all. I hadn't used it in about 30 min before that and battery was at 75%. So i was sitting there and the screen turns on by itself I thought ok phone call or text. I try to unlock the screen I noticed there was no signal bars red x and screen would not unlock it was frozen then about 5 seconds the phone turns off.

Now it will not power on and I have tried 3 known good chargers but the led in the top flashes red. If I press power down button led stays solid red as long as I hold power button on when on charger. If I unplug from charger power button does nothing not even power + down or up volume. I even tried little yellow reset button next to sim card nothing. Is my 4 month old phone shot? The sony companion app on pc does not find phone either this blows.
i was installing the update for blackberry app world when it was done i turned off my phone now it wont turn on but a red light flashes for about 15 seconds then goes off i plugged it in to my computer and it doesn't show up and charging it doesn't help either

Seems like to me it's flashing 2 longer flashes then 2 small one straight away. Continuously repeats this with 20/30 seconds between each. I have tried plugging it into my laptop but is not connected.
View 7 Replies View RelatedLast week my girlfriend dropped my BB in water that was real quick (3 secs | kitchen sink) and it wasn't that bad but as precaution I pulled put battery and put in jar with uncooked rice. After about a week took I out tried it yesterday to get it working for about 6 hours and no use.
It's just total dead just very very long red light flashing

I have tried APPLOADER with jvm and no jvm just stuck on waiting for device initialization for hours and hours and keep sending error device not found.
And yes there was no sign of life for about 4 to 5 hours but after pulling out battery and connecting it to external charger I am getting a battery sign on screen.
Ive got a big problem with my phone. It went dead last night and i tried to charge it with my pc and all i got was the red light. Once i got it to a wall charger the phone charged for a little booted and everything. It even accepted the txts i recieved while it was off. I leave the house for a couple hours i come back and the phone is off. When i plug the phone in nothing happens not even the yellow charge light. when i unplug the phone the red light comes on for a minute but the phone wont boot ive tried battery pulls and everything but the same thing happens everytime and i have no idea what to do. Ive never had this problem with any blackberry ive ever had.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI washed my iPhone 4s last week. I just got my replacement phone. I want to restore from iCloud (for my calendar) and iTunes (for everthing else like contacts, etc.) but when I try to do that it says I have to turn off "find my phone" from my old iPhone. My old phone's display is dead so I can't do anything on it. It still rings when I get a call but I can't answer it.

So I was on my way back from vacation yesterday, I had made a phone call a few minutes prior, and I noticed my screen wasn't coming on.Tried holding the power button - nothing.Tried charging - nothing.Tried every combo I could find on google, held them for minutes - nothing.Let it charge for an hour or so - nothing.Then randomly it started allowing me to get to the "Google" splash screen, then the screen would go black and become unresponsive again.
It's gotten a little better, but it is extremely random, sometimes I can get into recovery (TWRP), sometimes I can get the phone to charge, and sometimes it will do nothing at all.After getting into recovery a few times, I noticed that my SD card was wiped (only a TWRP folder remains) and it wasn't a few minutes before that - I did not wipe it.It will not boot, and trying to mount via USB doesn't work - it doesn't allow me to copy any files to try and re-flash the OS (stock rooted 6.0.1 with elemental x).Tried ADB push with no luck, it says file system is read-only.
I can un-toggle System / Data etc in TWRP to unmount them, but clicking to mount them does nothing, the box remains unchecked, and trying to do other things, such as start adb sideload, results in a buttload of mount /system errors..Battery is full (when I can get the phone to charge) and is a new OEM battery.Tried charging, not charging, and plugged into a USB port on my PC...does this sound like the internal memory is shot? How I can revive my lil' buddy???

I took the batter out, back in and tried the scroll mutliple times but it wouldn't work. It would always show the little white box and do software verification. After like 5-8 times, I took it off again and put it back in except this time, the blackberry curve wouldn't turn on, no white box or software verification at all! It still hasn't responded and I connected it to the charger but no response. What do I do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone's battery died and it shut off. So I plugged it in to charge. The charging light just blinks instead of shows up solid (could swear this is solid eventually) and was set on charge for an hour.
It won't turn on now. I'm trying to just at least get it on while charging so I don't miss calls but holding down the power button does nothing.
My phone was working perfectly alright last night but lost charge so went go charge it as normal from the wall socket but it did not charge at all and not even the red power light showing. Thought I'd give it another go in the morning but no, just the red light on but no power. Now it still has the red power light show up but then after about 30 mins a battery sign shows that is different to the last battery sign that it had before so was wondering if the system has updated automatically???? Turns on but shows main screen for a millisecond and switches straight off saying 0% battery even though its been charging a good while.

View 6 Replies View RelatedOkay so my blackberry curve 3G is relatively new, around 10 months. And today it was working fine, decent charge on the battery, when it decided to crash. I left it alone, and it still wouldnt respond. So i took the battery out, left it for 5 minutes, and put it back in. Usually, it automatically starts up, but this time there was no response. When i tried to turn it on, the screen stayed black, but the light in the corner came on red, for roughly 10 seconds, then turned off, and began to flash for around 3 seconds, every 10 seconds. ive tried plugging it into the computer, however it cannot pick it up, and if i try to install older software (downgrade it, which it recommends to do) it fails just before the end, every time.

So straight away i put it on charge, but after about 10 mins nothing came up, only a solid red light indicator in the top right corner of the phone. I have tried EVERYTHING i can find online and nothing seems to be working :'( it only shows red light when on and off charge, my computer wont detect the device and when connected to the pc the solid red light shows up.. but then goes off after about 10 mins!

I charged it throughout the whole night and when i woke up this morning it wont switch on. The red light just comes on for about 10 seconds.
