I just purchased the M9 off ebay for $300 since it seemed like quite the steal, but my one question is about the LED notification light. I've read that you can't change colors or anything, but can you change how fast it flashes?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to customize the notification LED per app. I've tried 3 tools to achieve this but I am not having success. Both GravityBox and XBlast tools would let me change the colour, but it would never work. All my notifications were still white. Even when I "previewed" the notification light, it would still be white. I also tried light flow, but only a couple of notification lights would show (those were some of the predefined settings). Are there specific hex values I have to use to get it to work? I really want to get this to work ....

View 8 Replies View RelatedLumia 950 in my hand. Feels much lighter than my Lumia 930. Slightly larger in my hand but definitely thinner overall. Love the matte white finish. It's very elegant looking and gives a nice grip while holding it.
All of my settings and contacts synced perfectly (including my alarms).
AT&T HD Voice does work and is active. You'll see the text "AT&T HD Voice" when making a phone call to a compatible phone (my wife's 950 in this case). LTE remains active during the call.
Screen is not as good as the 930. Much dimmer overall. I'm not impressed with that as it's going to make using it outdoors a lot worse. Might have to pressure Microsoft to push a firmware update or something. The colors look accurate and vibrant, but dimmer is not better in the cell phone world. I turned off automatic brightness and set it to 100%. The photo below tells the story.
By the way, the photo below was taken on my wife's 950. The 930 is on the right.
I just tried some more stuff, including dropping the brightness slider down to 0%. I then pushed it back to 100%. I did not use the brightness button in the action center. It seems brighter now. I'd probably say it's about 90% as bright as the 930 all though not quite.
Bubbles were forming on the color of the body and it started coming out and now the color has gone in most places.

Last night I connected the charger to let it charge overnight and noted that the charging light was read, meaning connection was good. This morning, the charing light is still red, not green. my 1020 is experiencing many problems, first of all I must mention that the screen was changed after being broken, and then the problems started, display colours went yellowish and too bright, screen locking alone too many times when battery gets below 65%.
I have to mention that I changed the screen another times, but the problems started again after 3 days, and that sometimes the phone gets fixed sudenlly, but not for too long, the longest period was 2 days, and two more times it worked properly again for few minutes (once I unlock the lock screen, the phone gets corrupted again)

I have a problem in changing the tone of the network notification.Whenever i send a text message , there would be a network notification from the service provider states how much money was deducted. That while its giving a tone which is annoying me often. so how do i mute it or where can i find setting to change the tone?I m using torch 9810.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I just got the G3 yesterday and finally have it setup. I have noticed though that the notification light does not seem to be functioning. When i receive notifications there is no flashing, regardless of the type of notification. I know the light is not broken because it does flash blue when I knock on the screen, and it also lights red when charging. I downloaded Light Flow to see if I could force the light, but that does not seem to have worked either. I checked to make sure the notification light was set to on under the Display setting page.

Today the LED notification doesn't light up when I receive a message and the screen is locked. I have checked though the service menu that the LED works, and I'm running gingerbread 2.3.4 so the new ICS update shouldn't be the problem. Also the screen doesn't light up when locked and receiving a message but I don't know if it's supposed to do that?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't see any notifications anywhere to clear other than the quick toggles I use. I'm thinking those might be the culprit since they're basically just an omnipresent notification, and the light stops blinking for a time once I pull the notification shade down. Having a constant green light going off? Also, whatever it is could be the same thing that's keeping the CPU awake all the time. It doesn't seem to be affecting battery life too much though.
