i unlocked it in india ... seriouly it is a gud but when i was updating my phone through data cable via internet ... in the middle of the update i lost the power ... because of this my system got shut down... and now is not working

View 1 Replies View RelatedI would want to bring an issue to Sony's and all the Z2 users' notice that I am trying to observe a display burn in issue on pressing the power button while unlocking the phone a lot of times and this usually happens when I have set the brightness to adaptive. When I press the power button to unlock the screen, the colors burn for a second and the backlight comes to life with all the real colors the next second.
Its been happening quite a lot now and now I am atleast able to figure out that adaptive brightness is the culprit here. I am not sure is this another bug that sony needs to fix in lollipop or what it is? But just to mention, I have recently clean formatted my phone using the repair phone method on Sony PC companion and it has not worked to solve this issue. Lollipop is seriously making life bitter in a lot of ways than being sweet atleast for Z2 users like me. We would love to see the almost flawless Z2 back as it was on Kitkat 4.4.4.

I just updated with the latest version of Gingerbread and I can't find any of my photos - ie: they don't show up in the media gallery. I know they are there because I can see them when I plug the phone into my computer. Any thoughts on how to "see" them again.

The camera logo at the bottom of the lockscreen has disappear after I update the phone, and I cannot directly launch camera app just long press the dedicated camera button. It's frustrating when u have to unlock the phone just to find the camera in app drawer, any ways to make the button back to the lockscreen???

1. Losing Network Signal frequently
2. Losing WiFi Signals

Today I went to update my X10. While at work it wouldn't allow me to as it insisted I connected it to a computer. So at home I got the USB cabled hooked up to my Linux Laptop and then discovered it had to be a windows computer.Anyway, I got it hooked to a Windows computer and the update process began. I followed every instruction and set all tickboxes for backup.After unplugging this and plugging it back in and rebooting here and there, it finally reached the restore process.I left it restoring for a while. When I came back to it, it said something had crashed. I don't know what as I'd just woken from a nap.But, it seems all my applications are restored. Yet my gmail account & Facebook account have become disassociated from my phone and all my contacts no longer have any names or pictures. I opened the contacts/phone book and the list is completely empty. tried to import contacts but it says it cannot find any anywhere.

I tried to update it with SE update service but it stuck in the middle of the update and after that it doesn't opens. Only a red light blinks. I checked the battery but it is ok. So as I searhed I found out that the problem is the EROM or GDFS. I am trying to repair it with flashing programs, but nothing.How can i fix it?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently noticed that there was a lighter white mark in the center of the LCD screen, no larger than a grain of sand. It isn't a dead pixel but when the screen displays bright colours like white, cyan or yellow, I can clearly see a white mark. It's not very noticeable but I know it's there which is quite irritating. I doubt it is worthy of a replacement but it's worrying as I assume it is the components behind the screen pushing against the display. I don't know of it isn't any relevance but I noticed this after my screen was replaced for free by Sony after a different issue.

It really differentiated itself from other smartphones, too well, and looked real cool in Xperia Ray. It made it feel special. Small nifty things like these inspire you too much. Its so disappointing that this is taken off from ray with the 2.3.4 update.

Has anyone else noticed that after installing the update if I power off the Droid X and turn it on again it takes forever to power on. It keeps waiting forever on the boot animation. It didnt take so long before the update.
View 12 Replies View RelatedReceived a new 16GB Motoactv this evening. Completed set up of MotoCast on my MAC. Unit was working fine, GPS / Radio etc.
Then checked for software update, it found 4.56.76, downloaded the sw and started to update. After about 30mins the MAC had a box saying updating, do not disconnect and the screen of the unit seems to be cycling. Initially I'd see the red batwings then an image of the unit and the progress bar underneath. The yellow moves about 1/3 along the bar then stops, after a minute or so the unit seems to power cycle > batwings > and so on....
After about 45 mins I disconnected the unit from the USB/MAC, tried a start + pwr reset but I still only get to this cycling mode (batwings > image + progress bar). Unit was charged for about an hour before I started the initial set up.
What can I do when the new 7.1.2 update hangs on my iPhone 5 and that my power button hasn't been working at all for the past 1 year?
