iPhone won't reload. Lost battery power and the phone would not turn on after charging. Tried the restore and get to "Restoring phone" but the status bar on the phone never fills in. Restarted my Mac, did not have a problem connecting with Apple.

for a couple of weeks now the connection on my iPhone 5 has been bad when trying to charge. It would constantly connect and then disconnect straight away until you got it into a very still position where the cable or the phone would not be touched. Now the phone has stopped charging altogether. I have checked the charging port to see if there is any lint but there is none in there. The strange thing is that if you turn the phone off, and then plug the cable into the phone it recognize it and then will turn on.I have got a genius bar appointment in the next couple of days but will have to go without a phone until then, and it is also out of warranty so I assume apple will try to make me pay for it if it needs fixing. It has been acting up the past few days, randomly turning itself off, and I am trying to get it to turn back on. Randomly it will turn back on when I push the power button, but is unresponsive when doing all the reset combos. Today it turned itself off while sitting on the table at home. I have not been able to get it back on and its been about 6 hours now, and its been plugged in to the wall charger the whole time. If I take it to apple, can they pull the serial number off for warranty purposes?

I just bought a N97 mini and it seems that when it is in power saver mode, the battery went from 4 bars to 0? I was shocked that I couldn't even turn it on in the morning. It's a real bummer when I have to leave the house and I realise my phone died overnight. Is this normal? Is there any way to save energy when I leave the phone in that mode at night? I'm very sure I have turned off all Wifi and Wlan and Bluetooth settings. Also, I believe my wall charger is faulty. There is no white light when plugged in. (Another bummer, when I returned home and realise my phone has not been charging the whole time I was out.) However, when I use the usb on my computer it works just fine.

Even when it is plugged in charging, i keep getting messages saying the phone is unable to charge as it is using too much power. And previously i could charge the phone overnight fully, now it doesn't get close to 40%

I've had the phone for less than a year and as far as i know it hasn't had any heavy drops or anything.
I have google nexus 5 32gb and recently i my phone has started behaving very weird. My phone batter died and it switched off and after a few moments when i reached home i plugged in a charger and my phone wont show me charging sign nor it will turn up so i left it on charge for a couple of hours and returned to try the same switching on method and still it wont turn on. So started googling this problem and i came across a forum where it showed me to hard booth by pressing the volume down and power button.
Magically it did not work for me so i made an appoint to go and see LG Service Store and suddenly my phone turned on so i thought the problem was solved untill it happened again and again and again so now if my phone switches off i am not very sure if it would turn back on. As this is a very random problem and i am unable to solve it while the phone is on and if i charge it before the battery reaches the critical levels and shuts on its own i am just fine.
What can be the issue as battery works the whole day of medium to low use and also other hardware happens to function well without any hanging complaints. Also my phone randomly switches off if i am playing some game as it gets heated and the same story of phone not booting.
Today I tried to sideload the OTA update to Android 5.0.1 (because my Nexus is root and it would not let me update normally), but there was an error saying missing file in system.img. So, after that, I got stuck at Google logo screen. I entered stock recovery (I never installed a custom recovery) and wiped cache, with no luck. Did a data wipe. No luck. So I tried flashing the factory image for Android 5.0, but right after flashing the bootloader, the device turned off (or it appeared to), the script showed "waiting for device", and the phone never came back. Now it won't turn on at all. I don't know what to do ...
View 3 Replies View RelatedOnly two months old. Battery drained almost all the way down today but caught it before it powered off. Plugged in the wall charger and verified it was charging on the screen but later it somehow shutdown all the way on its own. Unplugged battery and tried charging again and it starts off with the red LED being lit for about 30 seconds, the LED goes out and after about another 30 seconds I usually get a solid white screen with the empty battery icon that has a lightning bolt in blue going accross it. What exactly is this screen supposed to indicate to me? Left it charging for 30 plus minutes and still get no response from any of the buttons on the phone nor will it power on with anything I try.
If I unplug the charger get the red LED again, then a small timer icon spinning, then the Blackberry screen where it appears to be starting up but about 1/4 the way the phone shuts off. Sometimes instead of the white battery charging screen mentioned above I only get a small stripe of white background and the rest of the screen is black. I get essentially the same results using a car charger. Weird, confused, any ideas? Battery fried somehow?

I plugged my bb into the wall and for a little bit it was charging fine but then the symbol disappeared. I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....
sinse the last update of my xperia ray the phone is discharging the battery to lowest level and can not be charge by wall charger with 1200 mA the only way to charge is with some charge "booster" it's kind of external battery charger.

I haven't seen anyone having this issue out of the numerous ones I've seen on this site. My iPhone 4's screen was sometimes going black. Hitting the home or power button wouldn't turn it back on. I'd have to hold down the home and power buttons to do a hard reboot to get it back up.
I returned my phone yesterday to get replaced because I was also having the No SIM Card Installed error. My new iPhone 4 is having the same black screen issue occasionally, though.
