How do I remove all my FB contacts from my phone book? they are all in there and I don't want them in there. I never knowingly asked for them in there. The manual for my phone does not help as it bears no resemblance to my phoen anymore. Not sure I like this new software.It doesnot even have the alphabet for easy scrolling in the music.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've created Contact Groups that are placed under Phone Contacts (Not Gmail Contacts!).Now I try to delete them and they do disappear from my apps like Contacts GroupU.But if you check the View Contacts - Display Contacts - Phone Contacts from the Phonebook (top left icon in Contactlist) all groups are still there.Some that were created twice are even listed double.I would like to know how I can remove those groups from the list.If I keep a group from the Gmail lst pressed, then I get a popup offering me to delete the sync group.I hope you understand my problem. View 2 Replies View RelatedMy new E72 devolped an interesting problem:When i open the phonebook and start typing to look up a contact, a lot of contacts do not show up in the resukts. The same happens when i start typing on the home screen, however in messaging the lookup works. Example: want to call "Anna B." I type search for "Anna" in my phonebook, "Anna K." shows up, but "Anna B." and some other contacts containing "Anna" don't.search also does not work for the last name (for completeness).Interestingly, the affected numbers also don't show up on my car kit when the phone can't find them.I can, however just scroll through the contacts ( on the phone, not on the car kit) and, bang!, the missing contacts are actually there. so just search and car kit sync are affected.The problem can sometimes be solved by resterting the phone, sometimes not. In OVI Suite all (~280) Contacts show up and can be found.I have yet to determine wether the affected contacts are always the same, but it seems that way. They are a mixture of old/new with/without picture/email etc. so nothing obvious in common.

I have checked all the settings I can think of in case I have switched something off by mistake but have been unable to get any further. I only have 109 numbers in my phone so it should be able to take more, or is there a restriction?

When I pair the devices it will ask me on my phone if the car has permission to access my contacts and I'll say yes. When I go into the phonebook on the car or try to voice dial by a name it only pulls 10ish contacts from my phone. I have some contacts in my contact list(almost all) which are repeated twice. Some are even dupliacted 3-4 times. I tried looking into it. Disabled Skype sync. I am not able to make sure from where are these contacts egtting repeated.
View 2 Replies View RelatedBrand new Z5 Compact out of box. Switched from iOS and thus used iSMS2Droid/SMS Backup & Restore-trick to transfer text conversations to android. Worked like a charm apart from the fact that the profile pictures i messages are not the same as in phone book. Not a major issue but quite annoying.

I have tried the following
1. Delete conversation, delete messenger data & cache, restart, write new message - fawlty profile picture comes back
2. Delete contact in phonebook, create new contact with new picture - does not sync

I notice that if I click faulty profile picture in messages I get transferred to a contact which is not in my phone book, while if I click a correct profile picture in messages I get transferred to the proper contact.Â

So, how to get this to work correctly? Go back to factory settings is an option I guess but I'm worried the messages are synced somwhere so nothing will change by the time I come back.Â

Is it safe to remove sim card from my I phone 4 after I have set it up, to fit it into my old phone to retrieve my contacts from my old phone?
