Oct 12, 2010I upgraded my phone to 2.1 and have a regular sync via PC Companion, but can no longer see my contacts when trying to dial. My phone reads, 'Cannot read from SIM ...'. However, if I go to create a new text message, I can Add Recipient and access all of my contacts, just as they appear on the SE Sync site.

Sep 6, 2010So my Blackberry 8220's screen recently stopped working, but I had a spare Pearl 8100. I installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager and made a back up of my Blackberry Flip. I tried transferring my data from the Flip to the Pearl and also tried using the Flip backup file to restore the Pearl.
After trying both methods, I was able to get my text messages and call log to show up, and some calls I get have the contact name show up instead of the number. However I still have no contacts in my address book.

Aug 17, 2011How do I remove all my FB contacts from my phone book? they are all in there and I don't want them in there. I never knowingly asked for them in there. The manual for my phone does not help as it bears no resemblance to my phoen anymore. Not sure I like this new software.It doesnot even have the alphabet for easy scrolling in the music.

May 3, 2012I have to send my iPhone 4 back due to a fault...for the second time...and as my wife and I share the same itunes account when I backed up my phone the last time it did not transfer all of my own contacts to the new handset when I carried out a 'restore from backup'. Sep 6, 2015I got a new Galaxy S5 about a year ago and put my old SIM card in it to transfer my contacts. The SIM card was used in a Motorola Atrix HD and a Nokia Lumia 520. I need to update and delete some of the original contacts that I put on the SIM card when I was using the two previous phones. However, my Galaxy S5 simply will not register any of the changes. If I choose to delete one of the contacts, it says "The contact will be deleted" but then nothing happens. If I try to edit one of the contacts, it says "Unable to save contact."
This issue only occurs when attempting to edit contacts that were added to the SIM card on either of the two previous phones. If I try to edit or delete a contact that I added using my Galaxy S5, everything works just fine. It sounds like this is an authentication/security issue of some kind, but how do I get around it?

I used the PC companion to transfer pictures and notes from my old iPhone 4s and although I unchecked messages it seems those came along too. No big deal, however when I attempt to delete them the message app freezes, then when I try to reopen it the screen just goes black and I can't access my sms messages at all. If I restart my phone I can access my messages again and send and receive texts no problem but if I attempt to delete the messages the problem continues. This issue does not happen with deleting the conversations that I started off my xperia. How I could delete these messages....

And videos are shown in videos but i tried to play them then I got massage cannot play.
Then I used file commander and go in to the sd card in DCMI folder there is no any thing. Videos are shown but i cant play. Then I removed sd card from phone and I copied some photos and videos with computer. Then I put sd card into the phone i got same problem again. There is no any problems with the photos which are saved in internal storage. I got the problem after I transferred them in to SD card.

Jul 3, 2010I have just transferred data to an SD card -which I have done before with no problems- only this time it decided to move most of my apps which I have had to re install as I couldnt access them and it has moved photos which I now cannot find.
How do I find the photos as they are not in my album? Or has it wiped them completely? If i hadnt just uploaded them to facebook I would have lost them.
The icons for messenger, ebay and instagram are now not the actual icons and are just file icon. Its made a complete mess of my everything on my phone and I need the photos as i use many of them as visuals for business. How can I find where they are stored and can i transfer them back to internal storage from the sd card?
