Im having trouble idk why been sending emails with out a problem did an upgrade to a hybrid but i dont think that is the problem re sent all my service books, but when i go to reply to an email it says i dont have a service book for messaging?
View 8 RepliesI just got this phone a couple days ago. My provider is O2de, and I have an unlimited data plan (that I verified was working when I couldn't get my browser to work) and I even pay €5 a month just because my phone is a BB. But when I try to get on the internet it says " your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries. Please contact your service provider to enable the browser on your device".
I went and asked the next day, but they said everything is good on their end, and its a problem with my phone. Anyone have any idea of how to fix this? I cant send MMS because I don't have an email account registered because i cant do it without internet. Its really limiting what i can do with my phone.
I have read all I can on this issue and it hasn't helped. I have a strange and dare I say new fault with my 9520. I can't send or forward emails BUT I can reply to an email. I am on BIS with O2UK and when I try and send, the option is just not in the menu and the mail symbol (for send) remains greyed out when I try and send or forward what I compose or receive.
All other data services are working and I have sent service books a hundred times and even tried 3 different OS's after doing security wipe!
After installing 5.0.0.713, I noticed I had no calendar icon anywhere. I looked in all of my folders and made sure it wasn't hidden. I resent service books and that didn't restore the icon. Any thoughts would be helpful.

If i am replying to an email or clicking on a link like craigslist it works fine. If i am sending the email to a contact with a stored email address it works fine.
But if i just enter the email address for instance JRSpero@gmail.com the little send box in the upper right corner is not bright and is not able to be selected.

Press the call button, select the address book tab and press find for the keyboard to show and to type the name I'm looking for.BUT did you know that if you press the green call-button (from wherever you are) for 2 seconds it will go right away to the address book tab on you call screen with keyboard present?
Maybe it's old news or something new in .607? Whatever it is, I'm glad I found it and I consider it very useful for my use.
How I can delete duplicate contact and address book entries on my Storm 2 (running .428). I initially installed Google Sync app which synced the contacts correctly without duplicates but the address book entries got duplicated. I subsequently added my Gmail account using the built-in email set up, now I have duplicate contacts. On the web, there are no duplicates on neither the address book nor my contacts. I have disabled the contact sync on the Google Sync, with no luck. I searched the forum and it seems there are others that have reported the same problems but no real solutions have been offered.

There are times when I enter my office building that I am apparently losing service while riding in the elevator and I have to reboot to get it back. The problem is if I don't notice it, I end up having people get in touch with by another means wondering why I'm not answering my phone or why it is going straight to voicemail.

I use my Vodafone Storm2 in England and have done for about 7 months now. I have a £40 per month contract with unlimited text messages, 600 minutes, unlimited emails, unlimited internet. However, I am going to the States for a six week internship from July 5th and want to take my BlackBerry. If I do nothing and use it over there, I could potentially rack up near to £15 extra per day! I obviously do not want to do that. Can I unlock my BlackBerry here and then pick up a SIM when I get over to the States? If so could I send emails, texts and make calls without being charged? How would I go about getting such a SIM and what would I want to look for?

It is because there are no email service on my service book. Even I add or remove email in BIS account serveral time and register for host routng table and clear service book. I've never been able to obtain email service in my service book. Email I add in BIS are @three.blackberry.com and @gmail.com but both of them not work.
I call 3 Customer Care for many time already but they fail to resolve problem. They told me that they already correct service book for me. They told me that the device I have might have a problem asking me to send to service center to check. In my opinion, I didn't make sense to me. Why other service book are working fine except email serivice? Why I cannot obtain only email service? Pin messange, Messenger and Browsing are working OK.
On bbm I keep getting an incoming bbm instant message alert/sound while im typing a message. The alert/sound only appears for incoming bbm messages when I'm typing on bbm. the alert/sound is different than the sound that I set on the profile menu and the volume is much bigger. Can I deactivate this alert/sound?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI tried to setup my email on my BB storm 2 just now and when I go to setup>setup wizard>email setup> I only get one option > " I want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server" when I click next, it says "has your blackberry enterprise server administrator provided you with an enterprise activation password?"And no I was not provided with one, so I hit no>next> it then says "contact your system administrator to find out whether an enterprise activation password will be provided, or if you need to install the blackberry desktop software" I do have the BB desktop software installed.So how do I fix this? My emails and SMS text messages were combined eliminating one icon to have on the main screen. I used to be able to go under options from the email icon and change that. Now I can not find where to make this change back to one?

I use comcast for email. I use verizon for cell service (BIS). If I get an email to one of my addresses and it is spam or an ad or something disposable, is it possible to delete it from my phone and have it delete from the mail server as well - meaning, when I finally get around to opening outlook to download my mail, I will not get the ones I've deleted from my phone? I am sure this is a simple thing - but for some reason I get more and more confused the more I try to figure it out.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have 2 personal, 2 work, 2 miscellaneous email accounts. I combined the 2 personal into a "personal" folder, the 2 work in a "Work" folder and left the other 2 alone. I have 4 email accounts on my first 2 rows. You know what I mean, right? How do you manage your accounts? Do you have separate email accounts on your screen? How do you combine them? I know it is a personal preference but I am willing to try a new trick (even as an old dog!)

This is really getting annoying. I have everything set to my Gmail, but it keeps going to a Yahoo addy that I want to slowly get away from. I am trying to get people to stop sending to it, but I still have it linked to my Ebay and thats why I want to keep it on the phone...so other than a total deletion of the address, what can I do? (Yes, in messaging service I have the Gmail chosen)

Ok. I have looked online. I have resent my service books. I have done battery pulls. I've done....everything. I called Verizon and they resent my service booka and re-registered my email address. Then she told me to check in the applications list and see if I had blackberry attachment loader of something like that. I wasn't at my computer but she assured me that that's all I needed. Said all I had to do was connect to the desktop manager and load it on. It wasn't there. I have no clue what I need to do but if someone can please help me get this fixed I would greatly appreciate it. I can't open any pics that people send me and its driving me up the wall.

The fact that I was typing/emailing on my device during a meeting was very noticeable to others in the room given the click-click-click-click-click. Is this still the case with the Storm2?
